Ever since we lost our Thai place in the neighborhood, this has been my go to in New Rochelle. The space itself is small but really inviting. It gets great natural light, which makes it feel warm and welcoming right when you walk in. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food is what keeps me coming back. This time I had the flat rice noodles with spicy basil sauce (Pad Kee Mao), and I always go with tofu as my protein because it's that good. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside, exactly how I like my tofu prepared. We also ordered the red snapper larb, which was a standout. They break down the fish, lightly batter it with a thin, delicate crust, fry it, and then toss it in a bright, herbaceous vinaigrette. Super flavorful and really well balanced. I did find it alittle overcooked but not in an offensive way. If you're craving Thai and find yourself near New Rochelle, I highly recommend checking this place out. Went there for dinner tonight with my husband . Being 9 months pregnant I required so many water refills and bathroom breaks and the staff were so nice about it! The food was pretty awesome and it's been hard to find treat Thai food in Westchester so truly happy this place is authentic and tasty . The space is small but I like small intimate settings so I didn't mind it . There was a lot of good pick up happening so seems like take out quality is pretty on point as well! We had the platter for the appetizer which was a nice intro to everything given it was our first time and pad see ew with chicken! Generous portions . Will def come again! For appetizers we ordered the atit buns - a bit too much hoisin sauce for me; I could not taste the meat nor the veggies in the bao - it was all sauce. I'll choose a different appetizer next time. Met with my close friend for dinner and girl talk at this cute and quaint Thai restaurant. I was excited to try this place, as they had mango sticky rice on the menu and that is my friend and I'd personal favorite. We were quickly disappointed though upon arrival when we were informed that there weren't any mangoes left for the mango sticky rice. The staff was accommodating and very nice. They recommended the coconut Thai custard as a substitute. Although tasty in its own right; it was no mango sticky rice. Nonetheless we enjoyed our meal. Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025 I recently had the pleasure of dining at Atit Thai with my guest and was absolutely blown away by the authenticity and sheer deliciousness of every single dish. From start to finish, the meal was a symphony of flavors that left me planning my next visit. We started with a trio of appetizers, each one a standout. The Taro Fritters were a delightful surprise--crispy on the outside, soft and savory on the inside, perfectly seasoned, and not at all greasy. The Jumbo Fried Shrimp Rolls lived up to their name; generously stuffed with a succulent shrimp and fried to golden perfection, they were the ultimate crispy indulgence. The Chicken Satay was tender and juicy, with a perfectly balanced marinade and a peanut sauce that I could have eaten by the spoonful. For our main courses, we decided on the Gaeng Puu (crab curry) and the Pad See-Ew with beef. The Gaeng Puu was a wonderfully spicy revelation--rich, creamy, and fragrant, packed with generous chunks of fresh crab meat in a yellow curry that was both comforting and complex. It paired beautifully with a side of rice. The Pad See-Ew was equally impressive; the flat, wide noodles had that perfect smoky char ("wok hei"), the beef was tender, and the sweet and savory sauce coated every bite flawlessly. What a pleasure to finally mark Atit Thai off of my bookmarks. Located just off Main Street in New Rochelle. You'll notice Atit's outdoor esthetics bringing vibrant colors to this teeny strip mall, with very limited parking. Our delightful server, Mia, was quite patient with us, as we spent a duration of 3 easy hours enjoying the atmosphere, cool tunes and each other's company. When we eventually ordered, first for me was the Thai Tea Lemonade. An unexpected deep orange colored, refreshingly cold tea. Unlike anything my palate ever experienced. Next up were the triangular shaped Crispy Chive Pancakes. I expected, you know a pancake. But no matter the shape, they were tiny flavor bombs, accompanied by a sauce the consistency of molasses, but with a tart sweet kick. Finally our shared entree, River Prawn Tamarind, which I almost missed out on. Was a feast of baby lobster sized River Prawns. A presentation surprise, piled high on a mix of vegetables. These Prawns showed off their thorny legs, beady eyes plus squiggly antennae. No fear digging in for either of us, as no knife or fork were needed. A bib would've been nice to tackle those Prawns, swimming in an abundance of flavors. Atit Thai was not at all what I thought. We were full on surrounded by a well decorated restaurant, chill service and honest to goodness dishes. Atit Thai, definitely worth a revisit. You'd have a hard time missing Atit- located in a strip mall in a tight as hell parking lot on North Ave in New Rochelle. No matter the reason for coming here, the experience will be heavy on atmosphere. Little place. Big on style. Atit has black touches, a golden monkey mural on one side, another equally dramatic temple mural on opposite wall, wood tables and black+beige 'bistro' chairs. Atit seems like it's regarded as one of those "it" places without them even knowing it. I'm not sure what Thai food is supposed to taste like because I rarely have it or know it- but sauce combinations, made our dishes flavorful. And if Thai food is known for their signature heat, I certainly didn't get any- which to me, worked out fine because I can't bear it and nor do I want to build my tolerance for it. Atit's menu wowed me. I enjoyed the vegetarian dishes my friend and I ordered and the shrimp plate we shared. The edamame was fun to munch on but the Crispy Chive Pancake starter pieces were pillowy-soft inside and scrumptious on the edges. My no-milk, Lychee Thai Iced Tea was refreshing-even on a chilly day. The real curveball was the shared main plate of River Tamarind Prawns served on a bed of cabbage+some broccoli+fresh green beans in a Tamarind sauce. A little loose- but then again, I'm not an expert judge on Thai sauces. All tasty though. Our server Mia was a doll. This young thing has the smile, the politeness and knows the menu well. My first time here was over 10years ago, so I had to check them out again because I hadn't had Thai food in a minute, so last weekend on Father's Day me and fiancé decided to go as she never had Thai food. The food was as i remembered it years back, absolutely tasty/ delicious, and fiancé loved it, she's ready to go back lol. I wavered between four and five stars for this spot, but ultimately, the food was good and I would eat here again, so five stars it is. I had the pad kea mao with chicken. The flavors were great and the spice was a pleasant heat. The noodles were a little mushy and I wish the veggies had been grilled rather than served crunchy and raw, but overall a very good dish. My husband had ginger entree, made with shredded ginger, onion, scallions, bell peppers, shredded carrots, and pineapple. He enjoyed his selection. We also ordered the crispy spring rolls, but these were unfortunately not crispy. This was delivery, so maybe it would have been different in house. We also had the chicken curry puffs. Made with potatoes, pumpkin, and taro. These were light and fluffy, and tasty. Served with a side of onion and cucumber salsa. I really loved the yum pon la Mai. This is a fruit smorgasbord: exotic tropicals like pineapple and lychee, as well as crispy apples, luscious grapes, as well as tomatoes and other tasty bits. This was all tossed in Thai chili flakes and Thai lime dressing. I also got my husband the fried banana desert. He was a fan. Curries, salads, noodles, fried rice, and several specialties (various duck dishes, salmon dishes, crab, shrimp, prawn, etc). The menu is expansive and has something for everyone. Their crab rangoons might have converted me; they were quite crabby instead of creamy, which I like. They also looked good! My partner's duck masaman curry was good and worth ordering again. I'd skip the southern beef thai next time. If you like a lot of heat, this dish is the way to go. But I found it too hot and a bit too watery. I would have liked less heat and more contents. The Noodles are so greasy that we don't order from Atit anymore. I asked them to go a little easy on the sauce last time, and the chef just lazily made it with almost zero sauce and it was disgusting. The last two times I ordered their food it ended up in the garbage can. Most Asian chef's get it, and will work with you on things like too much oil. Not Atit. it grease-ville or nothing. Do not order online from this restaurant Made an order through seamless - 2 mains and a starter for me and the wife. When the food was delivered they had sold out of one of the mains. When I asked they just kind of shrugged and said they would just refund me. I have a few problems with this. 1. If they had run out of something, why did they not call and offer an alternative? 2. Why did they not issue the refund until I called them? Were they planning on keeping the money hoping I wouldn't notice? 3. The tips and delivery are based on the overall price. The food is very good. This is a small restaurant with very few tables but definitely a cute lively wallpaper to. I had the crab fried rice which had tons of lump crabmeat. The green curry with steamed tofu is good. I prefer my curry a little thicker, but the flavors were excellent and there was a lot of tofu. For dessert we had the ford roti with condensed milk. I would not order again. The roti was oily and it was small. Not worth $9. We also shared the mango sticky rice which was not memorable. The entrees took more time which I assume is because they were made to order and prepared with care and detail. My entree came out first and was beautifully presented and smelled amazing. My friend's fried rice and curry came out next but then it took awhile for my other friend's fried rice. We sat for maybe 10 minutes waiting for his fried rice to come out and were reassured by the waitress it was coming. That was the only flaw in our meal was that all of our entrees didn't come out together. The flavor of the duck pineapple curry was amazing.
