We had dinner here on a Thursday evening, with the pro blues jam happening on stage. The place was packed when we arrived around 7:45pm, but luckily we found a couple open counter seats near the bar in the back (these were the only 2 seats available). The musicians, playing a variety of instruments, put on some great entertainment, performing songs like Chain of Fools for an older crowd who seemed to just be having a good time in the casual and carefree atmosphere. A welcoming setting with lovely decor on the walls (mainly sports-themed) and street lampposts decorating the stage. We got the brisket salad, regular combo (quarter chicken and 2 ribs), with mac n cheese and corn bread for the sides. The meats were so tender, falling off the bone, and very tasty, particularly the chicken and pork ribs. They had a modest amount of bbq sauce on them, but it didn't really need more, as the juices from the meat along with the fat added so much flavor. And these were large pieces with lots of meat on them, and not too heavy on the fat... some of the best bbq I've had (even without putting extra sauce on them, though they have condiments available to help yourself to if needed, including both sweet and spicy bbq sauce). The salad was also a large size and stacked with fresh and delicious ingredients. The garlic bread and corn bread were yummy too and not overly filling, even if the carbs added up and were too much to finish. The mac n cheese was a bit dry, but with all the other carb-heavy sides, it wasn't a big deal. Already so much good stuff to fill us up! There was no line to order at the counter in the back, and service was more than sufficient, bringing our food to the table without too long of a wait (around 15 minutes or so). We enjoyed our time here, the quality of the bbq being the most memorable part. Based on our recent experience, I'd highly recommend this spot.

This place has been around for a while and I had never heard about it until now & What a hidden gem! They have amazing BBQ (10/10), a full bar, fast/friendly staff AND live music! A few if us came to celebrate a birthday and what a great spot. Casual/cool vibe - couldnt wait to leave my review. I will definitely be coming back. Yum!

Come for trivia on Tuesdays at 6:30! Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 5/5** Staff here is really friendly, you definitely get small business/family-owned vibes. Trivia is hosted by Head Games trivia and starts at 6:30PM on Tuesdays -- this started recently so you can actually form a team (up to 6 people I think) and have the chance to learn something new and win a gift card (a pitcher of beer, $30 for 1st place team, $20 for 2nd place team, or $10 for for 3rd place team). **Price & portion, 5/5** You get a good portion size, ideal for getting a few different items and sharing. **Taste of the food, 2.5/5** Food here has been a hit or miss for me. The chicken wings are fantastic -- piping hot and crispy; the salad is fresh; and the fried pickles are crisp and flavorful. But the bbq chicken leg I got was super dry despite it being dark meat, and the garlic bread tasted a bit stale and didn't really hit the spot. **Other notes** Parking is super easy to find and the restaurant is located right next to the movie theatre. They also have live music that caters to an older audience; you can check out their website for event updates!

Side salad (I'd eaten about 1/3 when I took the photo). This shouldn't be $7

I really wanted to give more stars but it just isn't worth it. I've been here a few times for the Tuesday Trivia (super fun!!) and ordered different menu items. What works: -- their ranch is really good! -- the order of fries is sizeable -- they have a lot of vegetarian options -- the salad is pretty fresh -- most of the sides are good (fries, fried pickles, chicken wings, etc) -- staff is friendly -- Tuesday trivia is a lot of fun, and the host, Jeff, clearly works hard to make it enjoyable What doesn't work: -- the prices are way too high. I paid $7 for a side salad (lettuce, tomato, onion, and dressing) and it's $7 for boxed Mac n cheese. If the food isn't going to be really good, then it should be a large portion. And if it can't be really good or a large portion, the price should reflect that. -- the quality of the food is okay. I haven't tried most of what's on the menu but my friends say that everything is really average and all the food I've tried is very average. I'm not even sure what their signature dish is Overall, definitely come for the Tuesday Trivia, maybe not so much for the food. I'll stick to ordering drinks and sides when I visit as those are always consistent

Baby-back ribs meal with cornbread and corn on the cob.

This is a nice local restaurant located in the strip mall with the movie theaters and the Dollar Tree. You order at the counter and food is brought to you. They offer Vietnamese food as well as American BBQ options. We came in for dinner, and the printed menus did not match the menu on the board behind the register area, so I recommended you look at a printed menu. I ordered the tri tip meal with coleslaw and beans. My husband had a baby-back ribs meal with corn on the cob and cornbread. Our meals came with a piece of garlic bread, which was okay, not very flavorful. My tri tip was fine, and it came with an au jus. I asked for BBQ sauce, and their sauce is not very sweet, unfortunately for me. The beans were fine. My husband enjoyed his meal. They have live music on some evenings. We saw someone setting up but did not stay long enough to hear them play. The service was friendly and efficient. They are closed on Sundays.

Can I take my own wine and pay corkage?

I would call the establishment and ask them what they would charge for corkage fee. They do sell wine. They may charge you a large corkage fee since they will try to promote their own.

I had a taste for Chinese, so I ordered sweet & sour chicken, white rice, and a small wonton soup via delivery. The sweet & sour chicken was probably the best I've ever tasted. The chicken was tender and the flavor of the sauce was perfection. The portion was huge, too. My delivery arrived piping hot. The wonton soup was also delicious. A small is enough for two people. In addition to wontons, the soup contained pieces of beef, cabbage, broccoli, and more. I would have liked the broth to be more flavorful, but it was still good. Things to know when you order Loco Moco, in every other restaurant I have been to, the rice is NOT a side. It is part of the main dish, which as I understand it was the original recipe. Here at Be Wok, the rice is a SIDE so if you do not choose white rice as one of your sides you will not get white rice. You will get, for example, two patties on shredded lettuce topped with an egg (your choice of style) one for each patty with gravy. Then as side dishes you might choose chow mein (good, not great), and macaroni salad (very good, exactly what you expect with Loco Moco). But no rice. I order Loco Moco at every restaurant that I have been to that has it on the menu. I seek it out. This is the ONLY time, as I stated, rice was not considered part of the main dish. It's only a problem if it's not clear when you order. Now that I know it is not served on rice, but as a side if, I order it, no problem. The gravy is not quite what I am used to for Loco Moco (it looked thickened with flour not corn starch) but it was tasty. It might not have been enough had I had white rice. It was enough for two patties and two eggs. All that being said it was good. I would go again, especially when I want it for take out on a tired evening needing the quintessential comfort food. Get the regular 2-option version so you can get rice and macaroni salad. Then you will have either one Huge meal or two good sized meals. It's clean, well-lit, and the service was very friendly.

The hotlink was perfectly cooked juicy and just the right amount if spiciness. The French fries were yummy! I think they are fried in lard or beef fat since they were so yummy! Very crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Again they were very tasty! My daughter had the small plate of ribs and a 1/2 pound of brisket. She said she wasn't hungry..... She loved the juicy tender ribs and the tender and juicy brisket as well! She must have really liked it since she coveted the left overs to take home! VERY DISAPPOINTED on how they did me. all the sides were average, nothing to talk about. if i were to ever come back, ill just stick with the beef ribs

The location that we went to is located next to Maggiano's Little Italy in Santana Row on Olin Ave. There is a free 2 hour parking structure across of the restaurant where my boyfriend and I parked at. We came during their Lunch Specials (until 4pm) and Happy Hour (from 3-5:30pm) which worked perfectly as we wanted something smaller in portion compared to the dinner portions. We started off with drinks. I got their Pig Ol' Bitties Blonde Ale, and my boyfriend got their Friday Beer & Shot special of This Little Piggy Went to [Mark]et with a 16 oz Dirty Little Pig IPA and a shot of Benchmark whiskey. My fault for having him get a whiskey shot on an empty stomach, though HAHA. He did like how smooth the whiskey was at least! We shared a 2-meat BBQ Lunch Combo Plate, and honestly, we should have gotten 3 meats because of how tender and delicious everything was! We got their Tri Tip and Sliced Brisket with their Garlic Mash and server recommended Sweet Potato Tots. Ahhh, everything was so good! Aside from the tender, flavorful meats, the two sides, especially the garlic mash, were sooooo good. We both loved everything! It was definitely a great choice coming during lunch as we were quite full after ordering one of their happy hour shareables of Chips & Queso (kind of pricey even for happy hour in my opinion for chips and cheese). Honestly wished we got their Chili Cheese Fries or their other fries which were the same price than just chips and dip LOL. But it was a good hold over food with us drinking a bit (at least for me). Shoutout to the only server who was working on a late Friday afternoon as she was doing her best to accommodate everyone + trying to clean up the previous tables. It was kind of sad seeing that the other workers didn't help bus the tables in my opinion. Overall, a great place to watch sports and have some good whiskey as this restaurant is known for their whiskey selections! The lunch BBQ exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely come back for another lunch special meal but probably with 3 meats this time!
