Not a spa looking environment, however, this family run business takes pride in their work. It's just a neighborhood place, but the antics of the husband and wife is pure joy. I went in on a Friday and had a wedding on Saturday that I wanted a no chip manicure and pedicure for. I felt like they didn't have too many colors to choose from. My pedicure was ok at best. Cut my nails too short where it hurt and scrubbed my feet way too much. Put lotion on my feet and legs but no massage really. My pedicure started chipping away by the following Monday. So pissed. My manicure was a nice but it's now Sunday, 9 days later and it's off of half my fingers now. I really regret not calling them on that Monday after the weekend and having them fix this. I just moved into the area again, and was looking for a good nail salon, the past two I went to (which I will not disclose) didn't care for the way they used water and a slice of lime to "soften" my cuticles. Which didn't do shit. I couldn't have had a better experience at Lisa's Nail. Tom couldn't be any more friendly, or funny. He trimmed my nails, like I like them and how I can have them for work. I been coming here for about 5 years now. The owners are a married couple(Lauren and Tom)who are the funniest and sweetest business owners I've met in a long time. They both do manicures and pedicures along with there their daughter who also does an amazing job. The owners make sure you have a great experience and that you're comfortable. Came in with my 2 sisters for a pedicure. I called around 7:20 to ask if they would take us since it was close to closing time and the owner said sure come in. We walked in and were greeted with a smile. We didn't have to wait. The owners were super friendly and very talkative. They are so funny which made the experience even better. I have come to Lisa Nail for 3 years now, and I will always going back there. Each person like her own nail place and I found mine right here. There are several reasons for it: 1 - The people here are very sweet! They always laughing and talking to me in English and NOT in their language between themselves. They never give me attitude or being rude. This is the part of them that make me feel comfortable and relax. 2- Their prices are awesome!!! I mean a Manicure and Pedicure for $34 is cheap compare to downtown prices ranging from $60-80. I need my cuticles and nails clean, not paying for the flowers and wine. Lisa Nail are clean and one thing I notice were the instruments were constantly keep in the Barbicide. Also, the razors used for feet are ALWAYS brand new out of the box. My daughter is a regular customer here. I kept hearing how visiting with this family was so much fun for her. She very much appreciated how close they are and how hard they work. I've now been there a few times in the last 12 months and I can say that it is as enjoyable an experience as my daughter (a VERY opinionated person) promised. I've seen these less than favorable reviews. It's sad to think someone would miss a good mani-pedi at a great price, with people worth knowing because of them. Don't believe these negative reviews on here. Lisa's nails is a top notch shop. They have state of the art comfortable chairs with room for your drinks and purse. It's a small family owned business that is very professional and hygienic. To top it off their prices can't be beat. Not all nails shops use the same no chip brand, so no you don't get a base coat it's a two step process not three, which makes is that much more faster. Give them a chance try them out, and if you aren't happy - let them know. They will make sure you are happy with their services. I was disappointed today with the services. I had a 10 am appointment that was not honored. After I questioned if my appointment would be honored, the nail technician proceeded to start my manicure while changing the polish of another customer. I have been coming here for a few years now, and they have been my go to place since they're literally down the block from me. Sucks to say that the last few times I came in the service was swift and sloppy. I spent over $200 within a 6-week period. Me and my daughter had to get our nails done and wax for a wedding. Her nail beds are small but the acrylics were wide and thick and uneven. That trip alone was over $100. I came back a couple of times for wax, which she always does a good job on. Lastly I had a "NO-CHIP" manicure. I had to get my previous gels nails removed and I decided to get a "no-chip" so they would have a nice strong coat. She (wife) started without a base coat. I noticed right away as she started to apply the color that it was looking streaky. I mentioned it to her. She blamed that on the color I picked (a soft sheer pink) and also she said my nail beds were uneven from having the gel nails. This was not true as she had just filed them down smooth and even. She seemed tired from the moment I got there I was the 2nd customer of the day just after opening. I spent $45 for the removal and "NO-CHIP" manicure, and 2 of my nails chipped after 2 days! I never went back due to work schedule and me not wanting to waste my time. I hate to admit it, I have given them several tries but the service is not up to par AT ALL. I live a couple blocks away from this salon so it was always convenient location. The prices are super cheap which is always a plus!! Truthfully, they do about a 7.5/10 job every time. Customer service is fantastic- super friendly and funny. I have received acrylics here and pedicures, but I can't count how many times the female owner has nicked me with the machines used for acrylics because she's not looking when she's filing/buffering/etc. I'm not overreacting and I'm being serious when I say she's not looking at my nails- she'll be using the machines while talking to another customer or looking at her husband while talking. Pedicures have been excellent every time. My acrylics also only last about 2 weeks before parts start to CHIP OFF. I've gotten fill ins dozens of times and they last the full 3 weeks without any chips or breaks in the acrylic. Great customer service, but low-ish quality of actual nails read more

Lisa Nails offers $22 pedicures. Good price. My first trip there however will be my last. The instruments used on me were swished out in the very water my feet had been soaking in in the footbath and returned to the supply cart which was being prepared for the next client as I left. The footbath was drained and immediately filled w/ fresh water without being sanitized. I paid my $22 and ran home hoping I woudn't wake up the next morning with foot fungus. Luckily I didn't. The place is gross. Stay away. read more
