Daisy hooked me up. I came across Y Nail & Spa looking for a head spa. The shop upon entering is immaculate. It's well kept, decorated down, nicely lit and exudes inviting. Music plays overhead complimented by muted TV's. I was greeted without hesitation. Located within a plaza, parking is a breeze. Color options are on deck. The prices are decent. There's a tier of options available for mani's and pedi's. Daisy helped accommodate my gel builder French tip design, and was exceptionally warm. She truly delivered an experience. Well well well. I visited this spa the 2nd day of opening and instantly fell in love with the ambience. And I was greeted by Daisy, who smiled and just gave good energy. She did my nails and did an amazing job. My old nail tech had just moved downtown so I was looking for a new tech and she exceeded my expectations. Just for the 1st visit. I get my nails down every 2-3 weeks each time the service got worse and worse. I kept going back because this place was 5 minutes away from my job and she did shape my nails good. Which is huge for me. But my nails chipped EVERY SINGLE TIME. No Chip chipped. Everytime. On Friday I go for my regular fill in. Everytime I have an appointment I have to wait because there is always someone else in the chair. I get my fill in which was thin and I just knew they would chip . I felt rushed and I just knew that my nail would break. And of course that night opening a bottle of water my nail breaks. I go back to Daisy on Monday and she seems perturb to see me walk in the door. I don't care because im sick of seeing you as much as you are sick of seeing me. I tell her I want everything soaked off and a new set to see if this avoid the chipping and breaking of my nails, which are natural nails. She STILL seems Annoyed but begins the process. Another customer walks in now she wants to rush my service AGAIN. I immediately tell her NOPE Not today I will go back to work and finish my work day and return after work so she can do her walk ins and give my nails the time and care that I pay for. She seems soooo grateful for my patience AGAIN. I come back at the time SHE ASKED for and again someone else is in the chair. She ask me to sit at the table next to her and she begin to again rush through my service because she was overbooked. I let her and when it was time to pay she charges me a FULL SERVICE. I was just at this place on Friday paying full service prices and here I am 3 days later paying another full service price because of her lack of SERVICE AND CARE the 1st time. No discount for her chipping nail polish, no discount for leaving earlier so she can make all the money that walked through the door no discount for being a loyal customer even after having this same issues time and time before. There is not One person in there that can do a good pedicure. Their prices are OVERPRICED! All this to say I will be traveling to my old tech that cares about their customers. I don't mind paying for GOOD SERVICE! And giving tips to vendors that respect my time and my money. And here is a tip her and her staff: YOU BUILT YOUR BUSINESS ON INTERGRITY WHEN YOU 1ST OPEN. She had a bad attitude and made me feel like I was inconveniencing. She was extremely unprofessiona!
