Julia was my nail tech and I was impressed with the time she took during my pedicure. It was one of the best I've ever had! She was kind and took the time to understand the design I wanted for my nails, frequently checking in to make sure I was okay with the color, design, etc. The salon itself isn't anything especially fancy (the usual massage chairs for pedicures, videos of nail art playing on the TVs) but I was happy with the service. Unfortunately, I paid and tipped for no-chip gel polish, and the manicure AND pedicure both began peeling after less than a week. I can be a bit rough with my hands sometimes, but I've never had a no-chip pedicure peel after less than a few weeks. I'm not sure if this is faulty service, or if I'm just not the type of girl who's cut out for constantly having to deal with the upkeep to have her nails done. While I have nothing bad to say about my experience, it's too expensive for me to return every week or two.

When I first sat down, there was no greeting (they weren't busy) I came in for a simple French acrylic nail set, but I had to tell her to fill in more of the white lines along the edges which not all of them are. Not to mention the acrylic nail doesn't even go over the rest of my nail (on my right hand middle and ring finger), which just looks trashy. Half my nails are not cut evenly straight and some of them are even crooked. They don't even cut the cuticle anymore. She was going to leave me with a hanging nail as well until I had to tell her to cut it off. At this point, I might as well just learn to do my own nails at home. And this has never happened to me before until today, but there was also a burning sensation while doing my nails. I told her it was probably the glue because she did not pull it back for my skin but she claimed it was the acrylic. but if it was the acrylic, why has it never bothered me before?

It's shouldn't be a problem if it's something I'm going to have to wear on my feet for the next several weeks and I'm paying for the service but I didn't make it a big deal. I also asked if there was a free drink with service since the women next to me received one. At that point I was almost done with my service so I just didn't even bother asking them to bring me anything. I wasn't aware you're supposed to scan a QR code. I guess I would just say it would be nice if someone lets the customers know when they are seated.
