Julia was my nail tech and I was impressed with the time she took during my pedicure. It was one of the best I've ever had! She was kind and took the time to understand the design I wanted for my nails, frequently checking in to make sure I was okay with the color, design, etc. The salon itself isn't anything especially fancy (the usual massage chairs for pedicures, videos of nail art playing on the TVs) but I was happy with the service. Unfortunately, I paid and tipped for no-chip gel polish, and the manicure AND pedicure both began peeling after less than a week. I can be a bit rough with my hands sometimes, but I've never had a no-chip pedicure peel after less than a few weeks. I'm not sure if this is faulty service, or if I'm just not the type of girl who's cut out for constantly having to deal with the upkeep to have her nails done. While I have nothing bad to say about my experience, it's too expensive for me to return every week or two.

I guess I would just say it would be nice if someone lets the customers know when they are seated. I went in for a basic mani-pedi, and it turned into a complete nightmare. She started cutting my cuticles with no care at all--I was bleeding everywhere. It was painful and unsanitary. I'm honestly shocked I didn't end up with an infection. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a salon. I talked to the owner about it, and she told me to come back and they'd fix it. So I made another appointment and came back out of my way--and then she says, "Oh no, we're just going to change the color, not actually fix anything." I was like, are you serious? I asked for a refund and she flat-out refused. No apology, no accountability. The owner is a rude, nasty woman with no respect for customers. This place is a total joke--dirty, careless, and completely unprofessional from top to bottom. Boycott this place. There are plenty of nail salons in the area that actually know what they're doing. Do not go here. Ever. This place should not even be in business.
