Stopped in on a whim because my other two go-to salons were closed on Tuesday. I asked for the basic pedicure, which was a reasonable $30. The placed seemed very clean, and they got me in right away, which was nice. They had many techs working simultaneously, so I didn't see any customer having to wait very long at all, which is fantastic. My tech was pleasant, and did a fairly good job, but she could have exfoliated my feet a bit more. And after getting home I realized the paint on one of my big toes is a bit gloppy. But I will certainly give them another shot in the future, maybe I'll just pay closer attention while I'm in the chair. Easy parking out front, which is always a plus! read more

I decided to try this place and I was very disappointed. Long wait no Oder in this place. No where to sit while you wait. Super loud and busy. I was there for a pedicure. I finally was asked to sit in the pedicure chair no water waited like 20-15 minutes just sitting there. Finally someone filled it with water only to continue to sit there again with no service. They've INCREASED THEIR PRICES and LOWERED THEIR QUALITY AND PRODUCT. I experienced 2 poor nail overlays. I came in almost two weeks ago to get a full overlay set for $45 and this time I was expecting to get a fill in and a fix. The technician told me I would have to get ANOTHER full set them proceeded to easily remove them. Seriously, I paid $45 for press on nails. She quoted me $40 for the trouble and then gave me a thin coat of gel which she guaranteed would be not break. After the service she charge me 46.78, telling me the 5 discount was included. No apology from herself or the manager who did my nails the last time but she did asked for a tip. This place is PRACTICING SHRINKFLATION. I do not recommend this place. The pedicure was fine. I got a regular manicure and it was easily the worst one I've ever gotten. She didn't even paint my full nail. I had to ask her to paint the sides of every nail. You can see it clearly in the picture where the paint wasn't applied. I was not happy with paying the price. I showed up for a pedicure and payed $35 for a pedicure that was something my 5 year old could've done. Upon arrival, I waited 35 minutes when I had an appointment scheduled. They barely cut my nails let alone file them. There was no massage and the "hot towel" was lukewarm at best. When it came to painting it was completely horrible. I immediately complained and the woman blamed me saying I kicked something when that was obviously not the case because I had only shuffled a foot away to the nail dryer. So, I have been going to get my nails done about every two weeks for the passed two months and I have to say it's hit or miss. I've had about everyone do my nails and some nail techs are much better than others. Yesterday, I left disappointed. My gel nails looked sloppy and filed crooked and I really needed them soaked off and a fresh set which she agreed I needed but told me to wait till next time which annoyed me because I really needed them done right cause they were old and cracking much more easily. So, she then charged me 43 for the fill in! Last time I was charged I believe 42 and that was with rhinestones included. I believe fill ins were 35! I felt like I was over charged for a basic fill in. Especially, since I've been loyal to just going there for my nails. Ugh, how disappointing. I went in on Saturday the 24. I needed a pedi and mani. My feet look good but my mani with acrylics look horrible. I asked for the (first picture I selected, that's on this post) for the style and shape.. I got the complete opposite of what I wanted. I choose the colors i wanted them the male tech told me that he would choose them because the ones I chose did not work with what I wanted. So he choose this pink. Which is not what I wanted. Great no-chips and long, wonderful pedis. Even if the place is packed solid they squeeze me in and take their time with me. They are always friendly. My only complaint is not with the owners, but some of the RUDE customers who talk at the top of their lungs on their phones. Stopped in here last minute on a Saturday evening after being turned away at another salon close by. Everybody was very nice and courteous, I was offered a beverage and didn't have to wait long to be serviced. Ta did my simple manicure and even tho it was close to closing time he made sure to pamper me with a hand massage and was very thorough doing my manicure, no rush at all. (I'm glad he didn't try to chit chat since I was not in the mood and just wanted to relax). They also have a nice color selection. I definitely recommend and will be back. read more

I've been going here (very seldomly) for several years, usually only when my preferred salons are busy and I need an emergency mani. A few common trends amongst the times I've been to Vicki Nails: -Vicki is not a very nice lady...she always has a scowl on her face, and is usually pretty abrasive/harsh to walk-ins when they are crowded. I've turned around and walked out several times just because of her attitude. -Not enough color options for Shellac/no chip manicures. C'mon, Vicki...Shellac is the new trend! Offer more color options! -They are a little overpriced for the quality of the work...it seems like Vicki has her favorites/regular customers and they get amazing service, but everyone else gets a quick service with no effort involved. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I only came here because my usual salon, Gorgeous Nails (right across the street), is closed on Tuesdays and I was in desperate need of a mani pedi. So, my friend and I walk in and ask this woman who works there how much it would be for the both of us. $77. Okay, no big deal. So we sit down and they start my pedicure. The woman was rough with me, continued to gouge into my nail bed even though I told her to stop multiple times she would not listen. She asked me if I wanted the razor on the bottoms of my feet, I said no just the pumice stone. What does she do when I'm not looking? Pulls out the razor and starts on my feet. I had to raise my voice to get her to stop. When it came time for my no chip the woman was too busy watching TV while she removed the nail polish and started painting. It took over an hour just for my nails. There was nail polish all over my cuticles and I had to ask her to clean it up because it looked so sloppy. She had to go back over multiple times because she was not paying attention to anything she was doing. Finally when it came time to pay, she tells me the price is $97. I asked why, and she said she had misinformed me when I walked in. At this point I was so fed up I just paid and left. NO tips. -Will never return!!!! Ever!!!!! Go to "Gorgeous Nails" right across the street. They are AMAZING and do the best work. They're also friendly unlike anyone at Vicky's. read more

Nope, nope, nope. I made an appointment for a simple manicure mid-day on a Tuesday. I show up on time (actually, 5 min early) and am told I'll have to wait 10-15 minutes. Hmmm...I made an appointment, right? After 20 minutes, I had had enough, so I Google-mapped another nail-salon, called them to see their availability for that moment, and left Vicki Nails to get my nails done perfectly at Luxury Nails (see my review for Luxury Nails). Look, I can wait a few minutes if I'm a walk-in, but NOT if I made an appointment. Time is valuable, and I'm not going to waste it on a cheap-o nail salon. I showed the nail tech a picture and she insisted it was almond shape when it was oval. In the middle of my service she switches with another tech. He applied my acrylic and finished my set. I had been going to this salon for a decade when Vicki was there. Now that it's under new management the owners seem nice but their techs -- not so much. They don't speak English well and get frustrated when there is a communication gap.....ironic, huh?? I got the very worst acrylic fill I have ever had in 30 yrs of getting my nails done from an older Asian woman -- she was rude and kept talking (screeching) about me in Chinese to the others when she couldn't understand what I asked for. My friends actually looked at my nails and asked what happened because the french polish was so out of proportion and ugly. I ended up redoing them myself. When someone finally was able to help me they had my hands soak for over 30 mins and still no one was able to help me.
