For $45, Tracy massaged my feet and exfoliated my legs, rubbed warm oil and massages with hot stone rocks and ended it with a mint paste on my legs and a hot towel. If you are anything like me, making changes to your face is terrifying- regardless of what the action is. However, I was fortunate enough to have this place recommended to me by my sister in law. Granted my first time here was a year ago, I finally decided to post a review. The location itself is back off of Ogden Avenue near the McDonalds and has an awkward entryway. However, the parking lot is spacious enough and I have never had an issue with finding a spot. The inside of the place smells a lot like a nail salon would and has some cheap decorations strewn about. However, that doesn't mean too much when the service is excellent. I have gone here a few times now to have my eyebrows waxed and I can honestly say that no one has made them look better- ever. Whenever my woolly mammoth brows overcome my forehead, I head here for a quick and cheap fix. Thus far, the wax has only cost a total of $8 plus tip and I am in and out in under ten minutes. They do an excellent job in taking care of the mess. I have never used a cc here, but it appears as though you can. I just always pay cash because it takes two seconds less in terms of time. My second time going, both times very crowded but I'm patient so it didn't bother me much. They are not very social to new customers BUT very social with their regulars and it's very obvious as well, which doesn't make this a very welcoming salon. Dig this place. Called to see if they had last-minute availability for a manicure mid-day on a weekday, which they did. Rolled up to the place, was greeted by several young, pleasant employees, and proceeded to have my nails done perfectly. The salon is clean and has a nice selection of nail polish colors. I've been going to Lisa since I was 13 years old. I'm turning 30 this week. So if that tells you anything. She is wonderful! My whole family comes here. I'm particular about who I go to and recommend an appointment. Staff can come and go, but ask for Lisa or Mary. They are my go to!! I am in every 2 weeks for a pedi and no chip. It lasts and if for some reason I have an issue, they take care of it no charge. Definitely recommend!! read more

I really like it here. It's all women running the salon. Wait times are always reasonable or no wait, even on weekends. They do a good job with the gel manicure and gel fills. My old salon used to take 1.5 - 2 hours just for a fill, but Luxury Nails can do it in around 40 from start to finish. My nails always look great here. Nice selection of nail polishes too. read more

First and last time going here. I never leave reviews, but I had to share this horrible experiencI'm new to the area and was checking out nail salons around here. I came in for a no chip and still had acrylic nails on so had to get those removed first. I've never "professionally" gotten my acrylics removed and let me say I do a better job myself than at this salon. They rushed and literally ripped them off without asking if it hurt, if I'm okay, nothing. I've never been in so much pain getting my nails done. Besides, I don't think they removed them properly. They literally just took nail clippers and pried them off. They clipped into my real nail bed twice. Naturally, I pulled my hand away after she did that and then she proceeds to blame me saying that she clipped me because I pulled away. The nail that was severely clipped into, they had to leave a piece of acrylic still because pulling it off would have ripped my real nail off. I pray that my nail doesn't get infected because of their wrongdoing. Mind you, my nail was still bleeding after the no chip was put on. Terrible place, terrible service and rude ! It's actually really shocking to me that there are bad reviews. I think it's perfect. I moved here a year ago and had the hardest time finding anywhere that didn't disappoint me, then I tried here and it was everything I ever wanted. I don't go on weekends because I don't like to wait, but going during the week it's still fairly busy, yet no wait. They staff it well enough that I have only ever waited once and that was late on a Friday. My acrylics aren't thick, I can get 3 weeks out of a fill, they're nice, inexpensive ($15 fill) and don't try to nickel and dime you with added things. Their pedis are great too. And you can tell that most of their customers are regulars. Always a good sign. read more

Out of all the staff there the ONLY person I recommend and will let even touch my nails is Lisa. She's nice and talkative and takes her time with your nails and has great attention to detail. Everyone else in my experience rushes and doesn't give a damn. As for eyebrows they're good for a clean up but not for shaping. I have had artificial nails for years. I am new to the area. I am shocked to see the rave reviews for this place. The women are unfriendly & rude. I figured I could deal with that. Just wanted a good job on a set of tips. I always get acrylic. Lisa suggested gel, said they're stronger. I said, OK. Lisa was fast, but these we're the FAKEST, THICKEST looking nails I've ever had! I paid & tipped. Went home and filed/thinned them out by myself. Stupidly, I returned for a fill. I figured fills are easy - how can you screw that up?! Omg, I was in PAIN. The girl was digging/clipping into my nail bed to what I assume was her prep to fill. Then, she began to use the roughest file bit over my entire nail surface to where it BURNED - obviously a technique I've NEVER encountered. I pulled away telling her it hurt. She took her mask off & another girl took over & began to fill my nails. I told her to use acrylic this time - the gel "fill" was painful. She said, oh you not tough? It was sooooo rude & ridicous. She did an awful job. After Polish, my nails we're not smooth - she did not buff after my fill. Again, I went home and re-did my nails myself. Oh, it was 18 dollars. I gave,her 25. She put ALL the change in her drawer w/out handing it to me first. PEOPLE, THIS IS THE WORST NAIL SALON EVER! GO TO MJ NAILS IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA. VERY RUDE! Was in the area wanted to try a new shop and was a BAD idea from the start. Walked in with my 8 year old and they asked: "What do you want?" I says: I would like to try your pink and white They asked: " You have an appointment?" I say: " No but was I supposed to schedule one because I thought your window says in bold letters WALK INS WELCOMED." So one girl goes to the back, another one comes out with an attitude says: "Sit!" I was like oh okay, do you know how to do good pink and white she did not say anything. I figured she only speaks Vietnamese because she kept speaking her language with the other girls. This girl kept hurting me and made me bleed. I got up and said that's it I am out of here all you are going to do is give me an infection. I have got my nails done since I was 17 and I am 31, so I know you are not good at all. The owner Lisa sits next to this girl and says: " I will fix it, whatever she did I can make better please don't leave?.." I said: No, Thank you I can pay you for my daughter's French main and go. Well turns out the Latin lady did not give my daughter the French main she wanted. Lisa says, oh I'm so sorry I don't want you to leave please let me fix. So I calm down let her do my nails, my daughter kept her ugly polish and my nails looked UUUU-G-L-Y and FAKE. Then to top it off one fell off the next day. They use CHEAP stuff and their prices are the same as any other shop. Maybe Lisa gave these girls a discount or freebie to get a good review but I tell it like it is, and I don't settle for LESS. Wasn't my favorite place. I went in for a Fill in and the only time she would say something to me is when she would insult my nails. I found her very rude and disrespectful. She did my nails in less the 30 mins, never in my 4 years of getting my nails done has someone ever went so fast. I would rather have them take their time and have it turn out great.
