I continued to return specifically because I liked one particular hairdresser and had no complaints about her work. My review was never an attack on the stylists themselves . However, I did feel that the environment was unwelcoming at times, and after my third visit, I felt it was important to be honest about that experience. Part of my review included concerns that were shared with me by my sister, who no longer comes to this salon due to feeling uncomfortable and out of place. She explained to me that on multiple occasions she felt she was treated differently, received looks that made her feel she did not belong, and was consistently serviced last while other customers were taken first. She is not confrontational and chose not to address it herself, but her experience mattered to me, and that is why I mentioned it. Sharing someone's lived experience does not make me a liar. To say that dismissing someone's feelings or perspective as "insane" simply because it does not match your own is deeply concerning. You cannot prove or disprove how someone feels in a space, regardless of who else was present that day. Asking a stylist basic questions about management and tipping was not done maliciously. I was simply trying to understand the environment and leadership of the establishment something customers are allowed to be curious about. Unfortunately, your response has now answered those questions for me. I fully understand that this salon primarily serves children, and that delays can happen. My issue was not the eight-minute wait itself, but the lack of communication. Being left standing to the side without explanation while others are attended to naturally creates confusion and discomfort. A simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way. I acknowledge that I could have explained certain parts of my review more clearly, and I am doing so now. What I will not accept is being labeled dishonest or having my concerns minimized instead of addressed with professionalism. I am entitled to my opinion and my experience, just as other reviewers are. I returned for the skill of one stylist, but overall, I did not feel welcomed, and your public response has reinforced that feeling. This interaction alone has ensured that I will not be returning. I also find it concerning that, rather than seeking clarification or addressing the feedback constructively, your response publicly labels me dishonest and dismisses my experience outright. That approach reinforces the very concerns raised in my review. I stand by my review as an accurate reflection of my experience and perspective. 3 strikes you're out! Went here with reservations and got burnt all 3 times. It seemed like the customers coming in as walk-ins knew the staff and we were left high and dry. Not impressed with this place. My husband made an appointment for 330. He went in on time and had our 2 kids with him. They took another lady without an appointment ahead of him who just walked in and decided she wanted a specific stylist. It's really a shame that you make an appointment only to have a walk in go in front of you without even an apology. It's not easy to sit patiently with 2 small children as it is. I love going there. I get the keratin treatment, my roots dyed and my hair trimmed.The stylist only trims what is needed. The owner Ana makes me coffee and makes sure I am comfortable :) She does an excellent job on waxing eyebrows too. It is also a great place too take your kids. read more

You know this spot had really caught my eye to come and get my sons hair cut. Today I had an appointment at 9. Get there and the place is packed. Okay no problem we sat down to wait and nobody even acknowledged us. As more customers came into the salon they were being taken care of as I just kept on waiting!!! Rosie was the only one that approached me at around 930 and apologized because they had someone else take my reservation. Very unprofessional and the "stylist" that took care of my baby had no patience with him they had me HOLDING HIM DOWN!!! until I stood up and asked for some time to relax him. Great place to take your kid to cut their hair. They listen to your request. I went to another kid's hair stylist and they produced the same hair cut even though I gave different directions each time. Let Hair Go did not produce the same boring hair cut, but listened to my directions and provided a fade for my son. read more

My three year old daughter got her first professional haircut recently @ Let Hair Go, and unfortunately , my worst fears came true: she screamed the ENTIRE TIME! Mind you, it wasn't her standard bratty regular three year old scream... she was in full- on exorcist mode!!!! Luckily for us, Anna (what a gal! Bless her heart) was so patient and kind to my lil "angel"! She gave my daughter a spectacular haircut, despite all the squirming and screaming ! This place is prefect. I have been many salons for my son and my family. I have to say this is it. Finally found the right one. The stylist Ana made my 5 year old feel comfortable and has done a wonderful job on his hair! That being said this place is perfect for kids but also has a adult feel to it. One side of the place is for children and other for the older. There is even a nail salon in the corner back In a private area. The radio is playing good music, the place has a modern look to it with a extremely comfortable feeling to it. I took my haircut despising toddler in today to get a haircut. He didn't buy into the airplanes or lollipops and just screamed at the top of his lungs the whole time. The owner, Ana, was so helpful and patient. She took her time and did the cut the right way. She even gave him breaks so he would calm down. She made a few suggestions to help him ease into his next cut. By the end he was giving her hugs. My daughter on the other hand loved everything about the salon. She insists that her next birthday party be there. They have an adorable little party room. She got her nails painted and loved it. Again, Ana went the extra mile to put cute details and gems on her nails. Pretty sure my daughter won't want to go anywhere else. This is such a great addition to Riverside! My son has been there twice now. He's under 2 and they've done a great job with his cut! The seats are cute and I like the decor. The first visit I was very impressed with the attitude and patience of the staff. They were so child friendly! I think we must have used a different girl this time. She still did a great job with the cut but seemed just slightly frustrated that he kept trying to look around. I offered to hold his head and tried to help but she kept sighing every time he moved.
