Been here an hour and a half and only had a no chop pedicure. Still waiting for my no chip manicure and ready to walk in 10 minutes. My time is valuable also. I called earlier because I wanted to be seen at 5, but I was told to come in at 6. I arrived on time, there were no seats available. There 6 people ahead of me and whenever anyone asked how long the wait is, she didn't respond. She would give the run around and avoided answering. Bad service. Poorly run. read more

I got a pedicure for $50. Specifically asked prices, no chip is $15. So after the pedicure my card was charged 87.00. I turned around and went back in and asked why am i being charged $87? The woman tried coming up with different things to equal $87, Including services that were already included in the $50 Honey princess pedicure. She ended up giving me cash back in a frantic manner. Was gonna recommend this place to my friends and family but after that i'm good. Be careful here! I also left her a $15 cash tip that i didn't ask for back. Thief's are lame read more

This salon is a fantastic find!! I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new nail salon. I had tried 3 in the are and was not happy. Mandy did a wonderful No chip manicure and pedicure. She was gentle and shaped my nails perfectly. She double checked her work a few times so that they were all the same length. This place is great!! I got a no chip pedicure with Freya and she was wonderful. She took her time on each step and checked in with me along the way. My nails are the perfect shape- I always ask for square and this is one of the only places who did it well. Plus, the facility itself is beautiful and clean. So glad this place opened up in the neighborhood! Highly recommend. read more

I followed Anson from his previous salon to now, his own salon! Dr. Nails is the newest and best nail salon in Lockport! Anson runs a very clean, organized & efficient salon. Brought a friend with me to experience this delightful place. Everyone is always so kind and gentle and pay close attention to detail. My friend says this is the nicest place they've been to and really enjoyed their experience here. We both got the most expensive pedicure and we both felt it was worth the price. I would not recommend this nail salon. The last 2 times I went my Dip manicure started peeling within a week. Some of the girls rush thru your manicure. Disappointed at best I will not be returning read more

I wish I could give this place no stars. Horrible service. Every person working there is rude and when u request something they huff and puff. I got a dip manicure and the lady doing my nails didn't even buff them all down so they were not so thick. She then tried to not do my cuticles and said she never does them !! I gave this place 2 tries both times was a horrible experience. Seems the employees would rather be on their phones than actually take customers. read more

I came for the honey pedicure, I put my stop watch on and they massaged my feet and legs for a total for both feet 2 minutes and 23 seconds. Paid $50. I still have dead skin on my feet. The whole pedicure told less then 30 minutes. I guess I'll have to find another place in Lockport. Blossom nails and now this place. I think I'll go to Homer Glen. Businesses should really give people their hard working money worth! They should really value the customers instead they get you in and out as fast as possible. I don't know about you but I look forward to a nice relaxing pedicure. I didn't even get to enjoy the massage chair. Very disappointed for my first time here, I was really hoping by his would be my place for nails. Nope! read more

Really liked this place. The nail tech who did my full set was awesome. Gel nail polish was applied to perfection. She even matched my inspo pic perfectly. Standard pedicures are awesome! The place is also very lovely. Nice atmosphere. It was very quiet and peaceful. Prices are reasonable. read more

When I walked in they welcomed me and immediately asked what I wanted and I got acrylics done. They ended up looking exactly like the photo i referenced and they were a very good price. I just moved a lock for two months ago and have tried at least two other salons. Today I tried D. R. Nails. I was greeted by a very polite young man and had a very nice young woman do my pedicure. Everything was great. The salon is beautiful and clean. I will be back. I think I have found my nail salon for Lockport! read more

I walked in as a walk-in and should've walked right back out. The person who did my nails looked like they had just come off the street--completely unprofessional appearance, not dressed appropriately for working in a business at all. I went in for a basic mani-pedi, and it turned into a complete nightmare. She started cutting my cuticles with no care at all--I was bleeding everywhere. It was painful and unsanitary. I'm honestly shocked I didn't end up with an infection. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a salon. I talked to the owner about it, and she told me to come back and they'd fix it. So I made another appointment and came back out of my way--and then she says, "Oh no, we're just going to change the color, not actually fix anything." I was like, are you serious? I asked for a refund and she flat-out refused. No apology, no accountability. The owner is a rude, nasty woman with no respect for customers. This place is a total joke--dirty, careless, and completely unprofessional from top to bottom. Boycott this place. There are plenty of nail salons in the area that actually know what they're doing. Do not go here. Ever. This place should not even be in business.
