Love this place! I get the gel pedicure and dip manicure, and each stay on for up to a month without any issues! My favorite is their dip color selection and the type of dip they use as it doesn't require a light to cure. My nails actually are stronger and better since coming here. read more

9 months pregnant and got a final pedicure.. the tools were all used. The pumice stone was worn. I chose a deep maroon.. the edges of the nail were not painted. When cutting or filing toenail, cut cuticle (ouch, burning!) and left the very edge by the skin-- so I had to go home and cut to avoid ingrowns. Pass. read more

I thought it was great. I haven't found a great nail salon for pedicures out here. They all rush and the pedicures don't even last for a month. These nail technicians don't seem to even know what they're doing in most of the places I've been to in Plainfield so I decided to venture into Lockport and it was worth it! Great experience! My girl was young and experienced and took her time with my pedicure! They look great. She even asked if I liked my color before continuing with the rest of my toes? The place was busy with happy regular customers so you know they're doing something right!Check them out! Worth it and great prices compared to the area!!! :) the place was clean too!!! Big bonus read more

I decided to give Luxury Nails a try. I went there many years ago and was not happy with the cleanliness of the salon. I had read many good reviews recently and thought I would try them again. I have been to many different salons and was still not happy with the lack of cleanliness at the manicure station I was at. I think it was the owner/manager that took care of me, and he was a little stressed because he had several employees call in sick. I am sure that was stressful. While cleaning up my cuticles he cut both of my middle fingers. One would not stop bleeding. Sometimes things happen and I wasn't mad. The only thing he did was hold a paper towel on it to get it to stop. After a few minutes he continued with my nails even though the bleeding had slowed down but did not stop. He did apologize. I had a no chip manicure, and it was not very professional. I have been doing my own nails since Christmas and still have a lot to learn so I decided to treat myself to a no chip at a salon. My nails turned out no better than when I do them myself. The edges were very messy. When I got home, I cleaned the cuts with alcohol and put Neosporin on them to prevent infection. Any one of the issues alone that I had would not have prevented me from giving them another try, but three different problems was too much. I will not be returning. read more

I looked for a nail salon to go to since I was in the area. This place had great yelp reviews and they all lived up to the hype. Tom and Anna were amazing! Such great customer service and my nails turned out amazing, my favorite set so far! read more

They were so great!! Very accommodating to my husband and I, they let us do our pedicures together, which was very nice. Everyone was so friendly. They did a beautiful job on my pedicures and my full set. The set was the best I have gotten in a long time too!! They did a great job on not making my fingers look fat and you can tell they took the time to give me a beautiful set. Didn't feel rushed, and he understood exactly what I wanted. Very very happy customer!! If I lived closer to here, I'd go everyone 2 weeks. read more

I have been coming to this salon since high school back in 2012 and can not recommend them more. I have been getting gel manicures on my natural nails now for years and no other salon that I have been to have been able to do it quite as well as luxury. Seriously, the longest lasting gel manicure I think known to man. Such a clean salon with extremely nice people. Every time I am back home in the suburbs I love going :) read more

CiCi is the best! Very sweet and respectful. Handicap parking sucks but the service makes up for it ‍

Update: walked in on 3 different occasions on 3 different weekdays at 3 different times, wasn't told there was a wait, was told to pick a color and have a seat in the pedicure chair. First time I waited 30 mins, second time was 45 mins, and the last time was an HOUR being completely ignored. Sitting in water that got super cold. The last time with acetone on my fingers to take off the no chip, which was left on the entire time, so my nails swelled and my fingers were burned. I will NEVER go back. I've stayed away from here for years because of bad reviews, but I was in a hurry so I decided to give it another chance. I'M SO GLAD I DID!!! Crystal did my pedicure and no chip manicure. BEST pedicure from a nail salon I've ever had. She was so friendly, gentle, and AMAZING at the massage. Definitely will continue to come back. Thanks so much Crystal, my nails look read more

Why is it so hard to get decent quality customer service these days? Had a basic pedicure and it's crap. Uneven cuts, little to no filing. Edges of nails where cuts were made are showing cut edges-unfinished look. The trimming of skin around nail was lacking. I would have given a nice holiday tip but manicurist was not very nice. read more

My new favorite nail salon. I don't go often maybe 2-3 times a year at most and only for pedicure. Magie did my pedicure and did an awesome job! I must say I really really enjoyed my self! Here Sunday morning! I've gone to a few other places for pedicures and this place is cheap and very relaxing! For my first time I got the basic and they did a lot of work! The basic is 25$ and I gave a $15 tip! I could have gotten a mani pedi for $35 but I didn't have the extra time and I didn't want to give just a 5$ tip.... sometimes when you get a "cheap" pedi other places do a decent job but the workers usually don't talk to you much or they'll talk to the other coworkers in their preferred language and don't necessarily make sure you are relaxed! This place they make sure you're happy and relaxed make this your go to mani pedi location! read more

I went here a while back and had a bad experience. I thought I'd give them another chance, but never again. Not sure of the lady's name but my pedicure was horrible. I'm not one to complain, so I didn't. Result was she cut my nails as short as possible, never filed/shaped them, bottom of my feet were still rough after pedi. There was some nail polish on my toe. All together - horrible. I guess it all depends WHO you get. I don't want to go to a salon/spa and hope whoever I get is good. Everybody should be good. Also, I don't like when the tools they're using aren't sealed in plastic after being cleaned. Luckily I was there early enough and assumed they were clean. Waste of money. read more

Visited Luxury Nails and Spa for the first time yesterday. Called same day to schedule an appointment. Scheduled for 2:00 PM (3 hours ahead of calling) Asked for a quote on the phone for what I wanted, received a fair one. Upon arriving on time (I did check in at 2:01 however) I had to wait an additional 10 because my technician, check this, was EATING!! I was shocked. I'm in the service industry and my comfort comes after a clients. Especially a new client! I would never dream of letting one of my appointments sit there while I ate. I knew he was eating because I could hear glass bowls banging around. However the other tech who was not working on me, came over about 6 minutes into my wait to let me know it would be a few minutes longer because he was eating. Wonderful. I haven't even started yet and I see where I prioritized with this establishment. So we start my nails and I make sure to tell him I like my nails extremely square (the shape I'm currently wearing). I said it a couple times. VERY SQUARE. He didn't want to take length off my nails because in the design I wanted "wouldn't look good". Well they're my nails so I insist he cuts length off. I showed him a photo for reference. In this photo, the design was silver and I wanted gold. He brought back silver... no, gold. Well I ended up with a rounded edge on my nail. I'm super annoyed because that's not how I keep them. I said VERY SQUARE. There's also product on my nails and he didn't bother to touch my cuticles. Come to check out and he adds an ombré fee (BS. I had ombré before this design. And my other tech didn't charge my additional, either. It's bad business to add fees without previously discussing it. So I paid it grouchily. Not sure I'll be back. Bad customer service. read more

I was a walk-in and they got me in pretty quickly. They were very friendly and accommodating. The young man who did my mani-pedi did not speak English. Staff was very friendly, unfortunately my no chip started chipping in 2 days, completely off in a week.

I cannot praise this place enough! The customer service is impeccable and the prices are beyond reasonable. What I enjoy the most is that they oftentimes will do your mani while you're getting your pedi to save on time. They do a wonderful job on the polish, it lasts a while. Also, they massage your calves during the pedi and use the warming moisturizing gloves for the mani, which I've noticed a lot of other nail salons skimp on. I've gotten mani and pedis less luxurious on the Gold Coast than at this little strip mall salon in Lockport. This is my go to nail place. read more

My favorite nail salon! I love my nails every time. All the employees are super friendly. My tech today noticed my hands were dry and lotioned them up! They have been smooth and soft all day. 0000 STARS Very disappointed my 1st time going to luxury nails. I walked in know one was friendly they had one person doing two people at time. I had such a horrible experience going there my nail broke within two days. I went back to get fix the guy couldn't match the nail color to the previous color I had picked out. Day 3 my thumb starting to became swollen went to the doctor they said I caught a nail infection from the place. the people are so rude and so dirty. What I mean as dirty who wipes there nose on there arm and then touches someone hands. read more

I have been coming to Luxury Nail and Spa since the new owners took over about 1 year ago. I love that I can make appointments the same day. The staff is always very friendly and offers you something to drink. Kenny is my technician and he always does an excellent job with my nails. He recommends what he thinks is best for me and the health of my nail. He often says that if I'm not happy or they start to chip to come back right away and he will fix it. I have never had to go back. My nails last 2-3 weeks depending on how much I abuse them with water. The prices are great and he often gives discounts through the loyalty program he has in place. One of my requests was to be open on Sundays and the staff has made that possible now. This shows that they really want the customer to be happy. I would highly recommend this place and the staff.
