The staff is friendly, and they have a large color selection at moonlight nails. The prices are reasonable and very consistent for the area. You do need to make a reservation. They also keep a box for regular customers so they can use the same buffer and tools on you. I enjoy their pedis because they use a metal grater to remove the dead skin, and most places don't do this thorough of a job! They also have very comfortable massage seats and do a nice massage on your feet with a scrub. I wish they had more options for pedis like a deluxe option. However, I have always been disappointed in my manicures (both regular manis and no chip). They do their job too quickly so my nails chip within a day or two even when I have gotten no chips. All in all, I do enjoy their pedis but I would skip moonlight for a mani. Also, they have a bird, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. It's in a cage- but it kinda creeps me out. read more

Me and my sister and law did not have a good experience. The man that I had doing my nails was rude and kept snapping at me to stop talking. Then when it was time to pay he was very pushy about a cash tip when I did not have any cash on me. I Zelle'd him but I really did not appreciate how pushy he was. Also, I got a no chip on my fingernails and they barely lasted one week. I noticed they do have regulars and that's great for them! Got a dip here by "Tyrone" who was clearly agitated and he was extremely rough. He used the drill on hyper speed took my natural nails down to paper thin and they were painful and on fire. He bragged about how well he does dip. He made the dip the thinnest I've ever seen even thinner then a gel polish. Within 2 days 5 of the nails were chipped. I went back and got "Tyrone" again. He was just as rough and aggressive as the first time, even clipped my finger twice. I was generous on tipping both times. Second time around lasted 4 days. I gave up wasn't going back. Went to another place when they removed the dip I had nail fungus, and the thinnest nails. Now I can't put anything on my nails until they heal they look terrible. What a nightmare! Maybe other techs there or good but he certainly was not. read more

This is my go to place when I'm in town! The staff here is very friendly and I always feel welcomed. This is the first nail salon that I've been to that has personal nail supply boxes for their customers! My nails tend to crack on the side from all the computer work I do, so I like to dip the nails that are fractured before a gel manicure and it works like a charm. My nail tech was very careful with her work and they came out PERFECT! The other nail tech who did my pedicure did an excellent job and the long foot massage was exactly what I needed. Worst manicure I've ever had. Very sloppy. He first tried ripping off my gel nails until I asked him to remove them properly with a file and acetone. Continuously burned my nails with the electric nail file and even cut through my skin. I asked for almond shape and ended with uneven, rounded nails, with the nail color not even covering my entire nail. Never had such a poor experience. Please do not go here. After much deliberation of finding a nail salon after moving to Chicagoland, I chose this one based on reviews of cleanliness! Big mistake! A day or two after getting my nails done, I started to notice what I thought might be a blister or chemical burn on the the edge of my middle finger where the nail tech had broken the skin by filing. In denial, I hoped it was just a reaction, but by day 5, I could see seeds & warts forming. I now have to get them burned off and endure a lot of pain. I am really angry, as I asked if files were fresh & new and she stated only if I came 2-3 times will they create a box with fresh files for me. I should have left immediately, but was pressed for time & was desperate. I also asked if they sterilized the surfaces, had clients wash their hands with antibacterial soap & also her between clients. She said it was not necessary, although it is a required aspect to be licensed. I will warn all my friends, family & neighbors to avoid! Going to cost me way more than the cost of manicure! Plus, with the availability of foot tub disposable plastic liners. It is gross for any salon not to use those along with sterilization tabs, which they used neither during my pedicure. This is all incomprehensible given they also do microblading for eyebrows! Also, the store itself was dirty & looks like they never wipe any surfaces or clean & disinfect. This was the best experience that I have ever had at a nail salon. Lan is amazing and totally blew me away. How many owners actually know the nails of their clients as they walk in the door? I did a drop in appointment for a mani-pedi and quickly learned that you must make an appointment bc Lan is one busy girl but without hesitation she squeezed me in. Each customer gets their own personal box of tools which is numbered and kept in the store for your returning visit. I saw boxes numbered up to 1500. I was in to get a no-chip and a pedicure. The pedicure chairs were the most amazing chairs that I have ever sat in, seriously I want one for home. Deep massagers and very thorough. I was talking to Lan about my previous no-chip experiences and she assured me that my no-chip would last more than 2 weeks, my previous experiences have chipped in a matter of days which I was disappointed with but knowing how clumsy I am and that I work with my hands didn't surprise me TOO much. This place is great at first. Nice back room area for pedicures, clean, and yes, your own tool box. But, very tight quarters in nail area especially, makes for everyone to know your business. Also, was snubbed not 1 or 2 but 3 times after calling for an appointment for a certain person to do my nails only to show up all 3 times and get someone else. This place is grossly overpriced for the services offered. The nail tech was not interested in making sure my pedicure was done correctly or completely. I told her in the beginning i have calluses and she barely attempted to address then. When i told her to try again because i know they could be removed she said no and insisted that i could do it myself. She even became irate when i showed areas where my nails were missing polish or buffing. I would not recommend this place for pedicures. They seem to be more experienced in manicures or gel tips. They SHOULD NOT BE OFFERING PEDICURES. read more

I read good reviews on this place. I am from out of state and needed to go to a good nail salon. I went in asking for a full set of fake nails,the owner through her hands in the air and yelled it would be at least an hour wait. I told her i would wait.While waiting i started looking at my spring break snap chats from Cancun. The owner got up and yelled that i cannot look at my snap chat because it was bothering her. Finally after waiting an hour she calls me up. I sit down and she started complaining that she had to soak my old fake nails off,acting as if i should of already had my old fake nails taken off. Then she complained that i should have already picked a nail polish...when i wasn't there to get my nails painted. Finally she started to do my nails and another customer walked in the door and she told me that i needed to go sit in the waiting area for another 45 min while she took the customer that just walked in. I had already waited over an hour then she tells me to go wait another 45 min AFTER STARTING MY NAILS. The owner yelled at me multiple times and honestly Ive never been treated so poorly. We visited this nail salon this Saturday afternoon. I was excited because I never tried this place before and the reviews were excellent. The workers were nice but the quality was terrible. I received a regular manicure and my sister received a no chip. We felt very rushed. The whole experience for both of us was maybe twenty minutes. There was no proper nail drying station so I had to just lay my nails in front of a fan and at one point received a fast drying spray. I was told that I was okay to leave. When we got in the car I noticed that several of my nails were smeared. Maybe my fault, but when I inspected my nails the filing was uneven. I turned my hand over and my nails were disgusting underneath. There was no proper care to them whatsoever. My sisters no chip was par. There was nail polish missing from the sides of the nail. These people are very rude. Came in tonight at 5:30 without an appointment, which is my fault. They were very busy. I am more than happy to wait. I was asked what I wanted, said mani and pedi. The woman asked if I had an appointment, and when I said no, started yelling in a foreign language. You don't need to be a multilingual to understand when someone is saying something very nasty about you. I was then given my barking orders to leave and come back at 6, when I could have easily hung out on a chair for 30 minutes instead of heading back out into 10 degree weather. I tend to come here every month when I get my hair done in the area. I won't be back here again in this lifetime! Try X-Quisite nails in Lemont instead. Contact this salon to schedule 4 pedicures well in advance. I was told to call back on Wednesday. I waited until Wednesday to call and schedule the appointments and they told me I could only schedule one at a time. I asked if we can scatter the appointments 2 at 5:30 and 2 at 6:00. They still were not accommodating. We wanted to go together as a group for an upcoming trip we area taking. So what I did was call back to back to back to back and made 4 separate appointments.
