The spa suites are located on the eighth floor. The facial was pretty standard, slightly mediocre. There were awkward technical issues with the steamer, which took her about five minutes to fix. She did apologize for the issues and ended up getting it working. At the end she had to collect her belongings which is also a little awkward. It would've been great if she could've got the bath started so I didn't have to wait 15 minutes for it to fill up. You have 25 minutes to relax in the room and take a bath or a shower or use the sauna. This would be an excellent experience or well worth it if they allowed more time. The bath took 10 minutes to fill up/figure out and I only had 15 minutes left. 15 minutes is not enough for a bath and to get ready. I would've really enjoyed the amenities if I was allowed more time. I would say 45 minutes would be ideal. I think they should price higher if needed and give people this time. Without time to enjoy the amenities the spa is really just average. I like the brand of soap that they had available and that it is in a private room. Overall, everything just felt very rushed and not relaxing like a spa should be.

Then we were told we could grab a coffee and a quick bite downstairs in the Lobby. Apparently the person we saw at the bar on the way in to our 10:00AM left because when I came downstairs the bar was Closed. So now I must wait 45 minutes for my husband, hungry and thirsty. Would not recommend this Spa to anyone. Definitely didn't start our Wedding Anniversary activities well. Prayerfully it will get better.

I have never had a better nap than I have in this salt cave. It's so peaceful, the salt helps you breathe well, and the no phone policy allows you to feel truly relaxed. We did to want to do the nude portion of the spa. We spent four hours at King Spa. WE checked out all the rooms plus the ICE room. It was so relaxing and I did fall asleep a few times. Upstairs they have the Meditation rooms . Those rooms are the Oxygenated room and an infra red room. On the first floor they have a theater room, a salt room, a gold room, a sun room, a charcoal room, other rooms and a cafeteria area. You can also pay for a massage. Most of the massages were 60 minutes for 120$. I will definitely go back and take my husband there on a date. Love it!

After about two hours, I could barely see any difference in my hair. The only noticeable result was that my hair felt much drier and more damaged. She then told me that because my hair was very dark, she could not make it lighter. That is unacceptable because she saw my hair before starting and still told me she could do it. Since she could see that I was unhappy, she offered me a discount to come back a second time and redo the process to get the lightness I originally wanted. I went back, spent another two to three hours there, and after all that, she put a dark color over the lightened parts and left it on for about 20 minutes. The result was still almost nothing--just dry, damaged hair with barely any visible change. Even my friend could not tell that I had done anything to my hair. I paid $500 and got basically no result. If you have dark hair, I do not recommend trusting Niki Moon Salon for balayage or highlight or ... They may say they can do it, but in my experience, they could not deliver the result they promised. The stylist later said she put dark color over the lightened areas because I told her I did not want red or yellow tones. But I have had balayage done many times before and achieved lighter results without red or yellow tones. Avoiding brassiness should not mean making the hair dark again and leaving the client with no visible result. In my opinion, if a stylist cannot achieve the requested result on dark hair, they should be honest before starting instead of wasting the client's time and money. I do not recommend Niki Moon Salon for people who are not already blonde. This photo was taken right after her second appointment. Can you see any difference? I couldn't either! I also showed the hairstylist a picture of what I wanted. $500 for... nothing!

After reading reviews dating back several months, I realized that other people had experienced the same issue. Let me start at the beginning. I made my reservation for a Sunday at noon. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation had been canceled. Naturally, I was confused because I hadn't canceled it. We were asked to take a seat while the staff looked into the matter, and they quickly figured it out. Brittany at the front desk did a wonderful job explaining what had happened. In the end, it turned out to be an error on my end, but she remained friendly, professional, and accommodating. She offered us another date and time and even compensated us for parking. Thank you, Brittany! The bath experience was everything I needed to cleanse my soul. The waterfall area and the eucalyptus sauna quickly became our favorite places. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we had hoped for. Now, on to the massage. My wife and I were in the same room. She had a female therapist, and I had a male therapist. Unfortunately, our experiences were completely different. My therapist spent most of the session lightly rubbing my feet and legs. He never touched my hands, fingers, neck, or head, all of which my wife received during her massage. He did ask whether there were any areas I wanted him to focus on, and I mentioned that I had tension in my upper shoulder area and that I had a shoulder injury. He concentrated primarily on the injured shoulder and very little else. I was genuinely surprised when he told me the session was over. My first thought was, "Wait, where was the rest of the massage?" I would really like to see Aire invest in more experienced massage therapists, especially since this appears to be a recurring concern among guests. That said, the massage experience did not ruin our visit. I would absolutely return, and I would still recommend Aire to my family, friends, and coworkers.

Showed up and it was closed due to construction issues with the city. I received no email or phone call that it would be closed. Very embarrassing. I've called over 6x asking asking for a refund $720. Each time I've called it the same response "sorry someone from our management team will call you back". Nobody ever calls me back. I disputed the issue with my credit card company and AIRE responded to them saying that the service was complete forcing me to open another investigation with the city and having to look in legal counsel to take them to court. I am beyond frustrated. Never thought this is how they would do business. Apart of me feels that they lost so much business during the time they were "under construction" that they can't afford to keep the lights on let alone issue a refund. I would stay away.

Neither add-on was performed... my scalp was never touched and no massage gun was used though I was initially charged for both (they were only refunded after I reached out). The massage itself felt rushed and incomplete. Most areas of my body were barely worked on, and I left still in pain. When I got up, I noticed the digital wall clock in the room had been partially covered with a towel.. specifically, only the minutes portion was covered. I later realized the session had ended about 5-10 minutes early. Management later claimed that covering the clock is standard practice for guest comfort, but that explanation does not make sense. The clock was not bright at all, and there was a much brighter light left on in the corner of the room the entire time. If a digital clock is supposedly too bright and distracting, then it would make more sense to use a standard wall clock or not have a visible clock at all. Partially covering only the minutes, the part that tells you exactly how much time is left... felt like a very shady business practice rather than a comfort measure. I was also told afterward that my massage was shortened because I arrived late. However, when I checked in, the front desk assured me they were able to push my appointment back and accommodate me so that I would still receive my full 60 minutes. At no point before or during the massage was I informed that my session would be cut short. Letting a guest believe they are getting their full service and then ending early without any communication feels unprofessional. When I contacted them about all of this, the only thing offered was a complimentary add-on for a future visit. but only if I book and pay for another full-price massage. After already spending over $220 and being this unhappy, I don't find it reasonable to be asked to come back and spend another $200 just to receive a small add-on for free. A partial or full refund for the actual massage would have been far more appropriate. I have since been ignored. Overall, this experience did not match the premium price at all. I left sore, stressed, and disappointed. I would not recommend Spavia Elmhurst based on this visit.
