My esthetician is wonderful. The spa is beautiful, quiet and very peaceful. I am glad this Day Spa was recommended to me.

The manager greeted me and set me up with a technician before leaving for the day. In the middle of soaking my feet the technician realized I was a ClassPass customer and immediately turned the faucet off. She stubbornly refused to continue the pedicure saying I didn't have an appointment (even though I received an email confirmation), that I would need to pay outside of ClassPass, and that she does not work with ClassPass customers. At one point she gave me a "talk to the hand" sign (who does that?!) while pacing back and forth muttering in her native language. After a frustrating phone call with the manager that left me in tears, we all agreed it's best I leave. The technician seemed to feel bad after seeing my tears and applied some polish on my toes, but the experience was extremely unpleasant to say the least. To businesses - If you're going to treat CP customers like second class citizens, please just don't partner with CP in the first place. The manager apologized and offered a free manicure next time I'm in town, which I will not be taking her up on. If this is how they treat CP clients, I cannot imagine the treatment I'd get trying to claim an on-the-house manicure. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Y'all! I had to come out of "Yelp posting" retirement to leave this review…read more.. When I tell you that I have been to spas, and med spas all over the world (Europe, Asia, Africa) and United States, and spas in your favorite five star hotels...and when I tell you that everyone who knows me knows that I am beyond super picky, and rarely ever impressed... Wait! Let me back up. I was on Yelp the other day searching for places that offered the Oxygeneo facial...This place was the only one that came up...The review I read was bad, the poster was complaining about her card being overcharged, (come to find out that it was only by $5 whole dollars! I thought it was hundreds of dollars the way she was carrying on SMH)...but somewhere in that review she said that she was very pleased with the actual service she received...Once I saw that part, I decided that I was gonna go ahead and book it- because again, I didn't see anyone else offering it and I want to see if it was really better than the Hydra facial (Spoiler alert: It is!) I researched this treatment before I set out to make my appointment, so I was expecting it to be upwards of $300, and was ready to pay that...New Year, new me, who dis?! Skin bout to be on fleek! Lol I was super geeked when I found out that they were running a special for January and the treatment would only be $99!!! Seriously, stop reading this post and go book an appointment right now!! Sometimes when you get a discounted anything the (discounted) value seems to be equally reflected in whatever you got... When I tell you that I was completely blown away by the whole experience from start to finish, this IS the best facial I've ever gotten. This is the best spa experience I've ever had. The session was so good and thorough. It was not rushed at all, and I believe every single inch of my face was tended to today! The therapist had such a soft touch massaging my décolleté and hands! I could literally feel STRESS leaving my body. It was rising out of me, going straight toward the ceiling in the room. She absolutely has healing hands. The facial/session was so good I promise you I could barely lift myself up to get off the bed once it was over... But this is the most important piece of this post: I had my session with Monika...So make sure and double check that when you go in that you book it with her. This review is way too long, but I feel it's warranted. I'm very critical and discriminating when it comes to doing anything and especially spending money-I never consider the cost if I believe something to be WORTH it...this was worth every penny, and definitely more. Monika's gonna be gone for the next 4 weeks, and the $99 special is over on the 31st... I guess I got lucky 2x...but I made sure to get on the books for when she comes back. I'm gonna try the 3 series fractional lasers, so will come back to update this review. In conclusion, you can't pay for a first hand account, word of mouth review like this. I wish I knew SEO so I could send traffic to this place! I wish I was an influencer so that I could let all my millions of instagram followers know about this place. I'm shook!!! If you stayed with me this long, finally, a call to action: If you are looking for a place to get some treatments done I can not recommend this place enough. I have been to some of the best (top rated) med spas that Chicago has to offer...NONE of them compare to the level of customer service and experience as a whole that I received here. I don't know if today was a one off, or if this is how it always is at this med spa, but don't take my word for it, go see for yourself!

Yes great owner employees are super nice care about the customers wonderful relaxing experience!!!…read moreGina

Her email directions are helpful. I came on a Sunday AM so I found parking right in front of the establishment. Amy is warm and friendly. Throughout the massage process, she'll ask how the pressure of her techniques were to ensure it is effectively targeting areas of concern at the appropriate level. She also put some diffuser oil and allowed me to choose the scent as an adjunct relaxing strategy. She also used hot stones/tools to additionally stretch and relax my tensed muscles. I booked a 60 minute slot and I wish I did longer! It was way too good and therapeutic. I didn't even realize my time was up! I just wanted to continue feeling so mellow. Definitely will plan another trip to see her again!

I lost my mom almost 11 years ago, 6 months ago I lost my father as well. When COVID hit us I started meditating every night. Slowly, but surely I started to shift towards energy feeling. I had an itch to learn more about it. I remembered that one of my Facebook friends posted something about Reiki class. And that was Amy! I worked with her years ago at Massage Envy. I contacted her and took my firs Reiki class. "Connecting the dots" book by Heather McCutcheon was given to me by Amy after Reiki 1 class. Instead of putting that book on my shelf for dust to collect I needed to read it bc I was eager to learn if that even a real thing. And very fast I realized it is a real thing! A sentence from that book "When student is ready teacher appears" turned a switch on. Now it makes sense to me! I took Reiki 2 with Amy with no hesitation. It was a game changer for me. Looking forward to more learning, growing, experiencing. Love love Amy and Reiki

What does Don do? He can literally heal physical illnesses, he can remedy any mental confusion or…read moredepression, he can heal emotional trauma and so much more. It is very difficult to articulate what he does and what he is capable of doing, not to mention how he does it, which is a mystery. I honestly don't think there is anything that Don can't help you with, and that is saying a lot. Don will address your mind, your physical body, your energy/spirit body and your soul. Whenever I encounter someone who is having a physical issue, I give out Don's number. If someone mentions they are having a really hard time or feeling depressed or anxious. See Don. Having a problem with your back or pain? See Don. Having fertility or pregnancy related issues? See Don. Having an energy block, or feeling icky, moody or simply not your best self? See Don. Cancer or heart related issues? See Don. I have referred countless family, friends and clients to him because I know in my heart, he will help them like no other. One of Don's many gifts is the ability to understand how to speak to each person as an individual, not just anyone is capable of this. He never judges, no matter what. And no matter what you've done or said he will remain steadfast with empathy. Did I mention he is gifted? When I think about Don and how to describe him to someone who doesn't know him a lot of things come to mind. He is a healer, a true healer with the most magical abilities that are truly out of this world. He is known and referred to as a Shaman, a Cranial Sacral Therapist and he is also a Teacher. He is sharing his knowledge and his gifts through the classes and curriculum he created when he started the Sacred Journey Institute. I think if you are new to Don you would want to know or be assured that he is not only knowledgeable and insightful but has an attitude and demeanor that puts you right at ease. I would say Don's approach is very welcoming, compassionate, and empathetic, which is critical when discussing very personal and sometimes challenging issues. I think anyone who has met Don would say his energy is on a level that is not normal/typical. His knowledge is incredibly vast and informative. Don is always present, articulate, wise, and the most intuitive person you will ever meet. People will often throw around the phrase "holding space" for someone. Don is the quintessential person of holding space, and his Sacred Journey Institute has taught many others how to do what he does. Years ago, before seeing Don I had no clue what holding space meant, nor was I familiar with "inner work" and so much more. I can giggle at my naivete, and how ignorant I was with just about everything. And I still have a lot to learn. The sacred holding space that Don creates allows him the ability to do deep healing. What can you expect when you book a session? You may very well have one of the most powerful healing sessions you've experienced. Don has the ability to meet you where you are. And he has the uncanny ability to know exactly where you are at and he won't push. After a session I literally feel lighter. I am kinder, I am way more relaxed, and I've noticed any anger and other icky feelings I may have had are no longer with me. If you are seeking better physical health, healing, clarity or personal growth then these are all areas he can help you with. I should also mention that Don does remote work, and this was pre-covid. When he originally mentioned doing remote work on someone, I was so naïve - I had no clue he could heal and tap into someone's conscious without being in the same room with them. So, if you do not live in Illinois fear not, Don can conduct a remote healing session. Lastly, I want to mention that I've had the pleasure of referring a few, what some people would say are "high profile" families. Don like a true medical professional is discreet, respects privacy and confidentiality. I encourage anyone new to try a therapeutic massage or cranial sacral session, you will know almost immediately whether he is a good fit for you. For me, I have profound respect and deep admiration for the life changing work Don is doing at Beyond Wellness. I am beyond grateful for his healing and highly recommend booking a healing session.
