I go to tom and I get gel no chip! I love this place everyone is so kind & Tom does such a great job!

Went in to get a fill and basic French tip. No big deal, right? WRONG! It took 2 technicians to do the work. I couldn't understand what the deal was to save my life! I wasn't asking for any over-the-top design; I just wanted a clean look. The first technician not only neglected to ask if I wanted my nails trimmed down, but also barely filed them. Therefore, one could see my prior French tips. Then he started the French. He got so frustrated with the design that he asked me to just pick a color; I should have just done that. Instead, another technician took over and attempted to do the French style. She even pointed out to another technician the poor job, and told me she would fix it- BUT SHE DIDN'T. Worse, I left with white smudging that I had to remove myself when I got home that she neglected to fix from her own work. So, so disappointed. The tips are thick, the fill is sloppy, and I'm out 60.00, because I know these won't last. And I thought there was a discount for paying cash: NOPE! So, the sign they have on their counter is false. read more

Made an appointment and once I got there showed them what I wanted my acyrilc nails to look like but they said they couldn't do that, showed them a second idea, they also couldn't do that... so I asked if they could do a basic faded French they said yes... well $80 later I had a set of acrylic nails that lasted not even 1 week before they started lifting and I broke 2 tips off. I wasn't happy with how they "faded" the pink and white together because up close it just looked like a line between the pink and white not blended. The shape was also wider than I wanted and they were lumpy. My one mail was even crooked I will not be returning or recommending to anyone! read more

I don't know who posted that picture above, but I am certain that it is bogus. Those nails were polished by somebody and made to look like a bad manicure. I have been a customer of Golden Nails for 6 years and have received nothing short of excellent service. They are professional, courteous, fair and stop at nothing to accommodate the customers and see that they leave happy with the service they have paid for. read more

Normally this is my go to place to get my nails done but i had the worst experience. When I went Friday afternoon it wasn't busy at all, I sat down as soon as I picked the nail color. Usually whenever I go to a place like this the people are always nice and talk to me but the lady who I had must of been new. She couldn't understand any English. And I couldn't tell her what I wanted because she couldn't understand it either. I got both my nails and toes done. My toes were ok but my nails looked like shit. I don't know why, or what she did differently but it looked like my little sister did them. I'm not one to fight about not paying for something I don't like so I didn't say anything and I just paid. Went to Walgreens after and just painted them myself total waste of $17. I will never go back. read more

I've never ever been disappointed at Golden Nails and I've pretty much used all of their services. They're especially mindful of cleanliness and safety. I've been to other salons where they actually cut my foot and tried to pretend it didn't happen (more than one place has done that)! My daughter, friend and I went to unique nails on a Saturday morning. We were greeted immediately and seated immediately. The staff and customer service was very good. We would definitely go back here again. They were quick and did an excellent job on our pedicures. They were very clean and only charge $25. read more

A lot of these reviews are very old. I have been going here for the past 6 months and have been very pleased with my no chip manicure. I walk in and hardly ever have to wait. Service is quick and the ladies and gentlemen are very good. I can usually get 3 weeks plus out of my nails! read more

Worst experience the guys was arguing with me that my real nail was crooked. The lady did not understand that I wanted gel nails.

This is a family run establishment. They go above and beyond to accommodate and assist. They have helped us pick colors to match dresses, given my daughter additional pillows in the pedicure chair to be more comfortable, and they always know your name. I love this place. Have been going to Tom and Tina for years. Reading some of these reviews I can understand being upset, but you have to find a nail tech like you do a hair stylist. Yes one of the guys is a little rough with the pedicures, but almost all of them are really good. Tom and Tina are the owners, so they are going to give 110% every time. Pam is great for pedicures because she massages a little harder and gets in there. I use to bleed all the time from manicures because of how bad my cuticles were. If you bleed, it's probably because you don't take care you your nails or bite them which is what I use to do. If you don't like something then say it, they will fix it immediately. I've had a fuzzy stuck to my no-chip and they noticed it before I did and redid my whole nail. I've been to some other really terrible nail salons, this one offers THE best experience and the cleanest. I highly recommend this place. read more

Bad experience here this past weekend with my daughter. My girl was so rough that the table was shaking. She cut my cuticle which would not stop bleeding. No compensation offered. Other person had a regular walk in, rushed through my daughters mani and didn't even get all way down to bottom of nail with polish, leaving a ridge. They put my daughter under the hand dryer and didn't bother to turn on dryers. Lastly there were nail clippings on floor from a pedi not cleaned up. Used to be a go to place. Never again. read more

I am really shocked at how awful this was! I went off of the previous reviews that this was a decent nail salon. Unfortunately this is just not so. I would seriously give this no stars if I could! I brought my sister here as a treat for her graduation-we both got pedicures done. I am a licensed nail technician and I really should have known better than to go to a chop shop like this. Both of our 'nail techs' dug right into the corners of our toenails and clipped way too far back-I am really praying this does not cause us painful ingrowns. My toenails are completely disfigured. There was way too much nipping action going on and after a third round of digging into the corners of my toes, I paid the price-he clipped a big chunk of my skin. I jumped and said, "OW!". There was no acknowledgement and he just went about his job. When it came to polishing my toes, that's when he saw blood pooling down my nail that he tried to stop the bleeding. The polish job was thick and gunky. One big toe had an obvious fuzzy underneath the polish. The worst was that my nail tech had dirty long fingernails and kept cleaning up the polish job with them-EW! I was annoyed at the gunky polish job on both of us so when we got home we both removed our polish. My toe still continued to bleed during this time. Upon closer examination, there was a big flap of skin sticking out where he clipped right into. I am really mad at myself that I went to a place like this. I am so sorry I brought my poor sister here to 'treat' her. If you care about the health of your nails, pay the extra money to go to a reputable salon and have quality work done! BEWARE! read more

I tried this salon because I didn't have time to go to my usual salon... big mistake! I needed my nochip redone. The guy who worked on my nails was SO rough. He drew blood when removing the old polish, my nails hurt from filing, my right hand has multiple chips due to the polish being applied so thin! I'll never go back! read more

For the time I spent waiting to actually get my pedicure I could have done my nails myself. The water I was soaking my feet in was going cold and the lady barely put any effort into the pedicure. She barely filed my nails so they look very crooked and she got nail polish all over my toes. I wanted to ask for a design but why waste more money? Went here for a quick pedicure,first one since my baby was born and will never go again. The lady kept on answering her phone and then when trimming the skin around the nail she tore it rather than cut it. I told her to stop and all she said was dry skin. Then she was doing the scrub, rinsed one leg then answers her phone and left! Another lady finished but then they refused to give a discount for the cut on my foot. I didn't see any certificates on the wall either. Bad customer service. read more
