I get pedicures and no-chip manicures here relatively often. I've never had a bad experience. It's a no-frills salon, but they get the job done and my nails always look great. I usually get Coco and when she does my nails, the no-chip lasts for 3+ weeks. I haven't seen them have much of a wait for walk-ins. Not sure if they do appointments. They do have a small parking lot that's shared with other businesses so a space can't be guaranteed. But street parking around the area is ample. I've been here about 5 times the people overall were nice! However I recently tried to get my brows done and the lady was super rude. I answered her questions and after every respond she kept making smart remarks about it. I honestly tried to power through but I'm like it's my eye brows and don't want her playing around in my face. She asked how I wanted my brows I said thin, she suggested thick but I didn't want that. And that's where the drama began, like honey please give me what I ask for not what you want me to have. I told her last time I came she just did whatever she wanted ( which was thick) and I'm like I dnt want that this time and all the back and forth is making me feel like you dnt want to do it. Great selection of nail polish to choose from and at a reasonable price. I stumbled upon this hidden shop last summer and have been a happy customer. The price for a no chip nail polish is $32. Do your homework and you will see this is a good price. I try to get the same nail tech each visit just to make sure I stay a happy customer. Please Unprofessional and Needed to be checked by sanitation department. They always reuse files and buffs never switch between clients. Sanitations are poor! Please don't go here waste your time and money. I have been coming here not to often but sometimes. They refused me as a client. I started coming to this salon with my mother and they do a great job with her manicures but with full sets, only 3 people are actually good at doing full sets. everyone else always rushes on your nails, it comes out looking awful and their attitudes are poor. Every time i schedule an appointment with these people, they double book me, don't have me schedule at all or are never on time. I've given this place the benefit of the doubt considering how close they are to my home but the quality of their nails aren't good and they are disrespectful to their customers. They also make their customers feel bad when they make mistakes. If you tell them you aren't satisfied with your nails they have an attitude. If they double book you, they make you feel bad about it and make you wait. As a customer I've never felt so disrespected by a place where I've recommended family to go to. My fav nail salon! I went in on a Friday to get a fill. And my sister went to get a mani. She had never gotten her nails done, so this was her first experience and she absolutely loved it! Ming's mom (I don't know her name sorry!) did my sister's nails knowing it was her first time and treated her so great. Went the extra mile to give her a good experience! Ming and his mom are so good with acrylics! I've had them both before. Needed a emergency fill In and nail repair for my Bday/Valentines Day. Usually I go to a private nail tech with her own studio. But when emergencies call, you need a quick walk-in fix. So I gave my local nail shop a chance. There's nothing special about the look. It's one of those salons you may pass up. But when I came in they were nice and ready to work. Lately when I go into Asian owned salons, they are intimidated by long nails. Which seems weird because back in the day acrylics was in and even now it's still a trend....a vibe, the culture! They're really nice, and the wait is never long at all. The best thing about the pedicures is their delux massage chairs. You sit in this throne-like lounger that has rollers going up and down the length of your spine, kneading, pounding, and rubbing as softly or vigorously as you like (you get the remote control). I also like the diverse clientele. I've seen Asian, Latina, African American and white women there, often all at once. This is a good option if you are looking for a quick nail job and you don't feel like spending a ton of money. I called ahead of time, but they said I didn't need an appointment. When I arrived on a Friday afternoon, I was seated immediately for my pedicure. The place is clean, but it needs better circulation as it did have a pretty strong chemical smell. The woman that took care of me was very nice but a tad rough on my toes. And I wish she did a more thorough foot and leg massage. One important thing to note is that they skip the scrub and go directly for the lotion, so I felt like I was missing out on the "spa" part of the pedicure. The paint job itself was ok, and it was done quickly, but I waited forever for the paint to dry. My pedicurist was more worried about the Asian soap opera on TV than to check up on my progress. read more
