Three days later, they were all lifting so I went back to get them replaced. The woman who did them was not gentle at all and she ripped off half of my thumb nail. I came in for a Groupon that I purchased for Gel X nails. She told me that if I wasn't getting nail tips that I couldn't do Gel X. She recommended just getting gel nail builder since I like my nails are a little short. Since I've always gotten dip nails I really didn't know the difference. I thought the nails were too thick but Since I had never gotten nail builder I didn't know. The nails are just way too thick for me. Had an appointment booked for 12:30pm on 4/4/26 got there 10 mins. before our appointment . was told to change and sit in the sauna. They left us in the sauna for 45mins. without coming to check or start our massage. I opened the door and they asked if I was ready? I had been ready since 12:30pm hints why I booked for 12:30pm. Once the massage started it was only one person the other didn't come in until 10 minutes into my massage which was confusing because we paid for a couples massag. the entire massage was rushed and me and my girlfriend both have bruises on our backs. DO NOT GO HERE. I had a GroupOn for this massage parlor for an hour. It was so awful that I left after 35 minutes. And absolutely should have left earlier. I came in and was told rather brusquely to "get naked" and wait in the room for the masseuse. The room was brightly lite and you could clearly hear the conversations of the people outside the room. It was not comfortable or relaxing at all. The towels I had to cover myself were a little small and scratchy. They honestly looked like the towels I have in my kitchen, actually. The masseuse came in and put me under a thin sheet when she started the massage. She massaged me over the sheet for a while, which I was disappointed by because any other massage I have received has been with a persons hands directly on my skin, which has always felt more relaxing than feeling a coarse sheet pressed into my skin. Thankfully she moved the sheet eventually. The massage continued for a little while when something shocking happened. A phone rang very loudly and obnoxiously outside the room. And because the walls were thin, you could hear it clearly. And then the masseuse actually left the room to get it. I had assumed she would silence it. Instead she answered it, walking into the room talking to the caller, and had a full on conversation with that person directly over my head as she went back to massaging my shoulders! I was pretty shocked by that. I should have walked out at that moment but had paid for this time already through GroupOn, so I wanted to try to get my moneys worth. The masseuse was incredibly hard on my muscles, to the point of pain. I tried to ask her to ease up a bit but due to a language barrier, she didn't understand, even using a translator on her phone. I was genuinely in pain, frustrated by this treatment, and uncomfortable overall, so I left early. Literally just told her to stop and let me get dressed. This was a completely awful experience that actually left me in real pain. I tried to get my money back from GroupOn, but they refunded me $10 and told me that because I had redeemed the pass by simply showing up, that's all they would do. Do not go here. I've been a customer for 3 years. Today an issue arose and to the matter I said I've been a loyal and consistent client for 3 years now. Ivy yelled repeatedly "I don't card how long you come here anymore you never have to come". Not only was I upset but this hurt when I think of how much money I've spent and how many customers I've brought their business over the years. First off there is not enough staff to work on the busy days. This is a small shop with short staff who often at times have to make a call for someone to come in to complete a service for customer (I'm assuming they all live nearby). The days when they are busy Ivy is extremely rude, impatient and inconsistent with her work. I recommended my mother to Ivy and she stopped after a few visits because Ivy was so inconsistent and rude. Today is a Saturday 3/26 and maybe go my better judgement I should've gone with my first mind and not had come in at all. I've noticed Ivy rushes when certain gentleman come in for a "MASSAGE". Now I'm not rocket scientist but how can 1 woman go into a room and massage 2 men at once? I used to love this place but after today this was the final straw. I've spent thousands of dollars with this business and Ivy is is rude and only nice when business is slow other than that she rushes your service. Today I went in for a lash refill. 2 of my eye lashes needed to be removed but instead Ivy insisted doing it her way and cut the lashes instead of removing them completely. This made a visibly noticeable difference. She continued to try and argue about the difference in a fresh full set vs a refill which still had no barring as to why she did what she did and didn't just listen in the first place. This is always my issue with these sorts of establishments because the moment you make a complaint they make it seem as if you lack comprehension skills. I asked her to remove the entire eye and do it fresh but she told me she "didn't want to be frustrated as she had other clients waiting on her" and shooed me out the door, only before stating that "She wasn't going to charge me" I mean I wouldn't think I would be charged for a service that not only wasn't complete or to my liking but she didn't even finish. I've never been to an establishment yo be serviced for beauty and the stylist didn't fix their work if it wasn't to my liking. It was never about the money or wanting a free service as Ivy continuously exclaimed. She made it seem as if she did me a favor and gave me a free service when in fact the issue was never fixed or resolved. I was again appalled but didn't want to cause a scene because not only was she clearly dismissing my concerns she wouldn't even rectify the situation and take accountability to fix her error I am now left with a white residue on my right eye lid. I had to call and pretend to be another client because they'd stopped answering the phone from my number. Ivy thought I was another customer and said I could come in and that is when I informed her that it was me and she needed to fix the mess she created. She told me to come back at 6pm and she would fix it because they closed at 8. I went back and waited patiently 40 minutes for her to finish with another customer. Once I got in the room I again explained she was only to be concerned with the right eye, doing a full removal and relash but instead so that she could get more money Ivy insisted both eyes had to be removed and she would take $30 off. Lady not only are gas prices extremely high but I took 2 trips across town and missed an event that was scheduled for 7pm. She began yelling and I asked her calmly several times to stop yelling at me and she continued to yell. That's when I said "As a customer whose done business with your for 3 years not only am I saddened at your behavior but it makes me never want to come here again". Ivy response was "Good you never have to come here again and I don't care about your business or how much money you spend here". Meanwhile she was just on the phone prior to this pleading her case and apologizing and ensuring me how much she "appreciated" my business. If so only for tattooing which is done by Rose Huang. Tina who was off today is always nice but doesn't do the best nails or pedicures. Although Cindy is hardly there and seems to be the one who corresponds via their Yelp page. Ivy is always the one present and answering phones. The instant I wanted to correct her about her mistake she became nasty and shows her true colors. I would never come here again nor do I recommend anyone. They are nice when business is slow and they need your money but when business picks up it's like a factory they push you in and out. Shady business, poor customer service. Ivy is a terrible representation for this business. Ivy, not only did you lose a great customer but you guys lucky I'm not suing you right now. I more recently had a massage, mani, pedi & the technician was very patient, friendly even with our language barrier. my nails have lasted for about 3 weeks now without any mishaps. I purchased a groupon for mani/pedi, but apparently when I clicked on purchased it, it was for gel x. It was my fault for not veritifying if this was a correct purchase. They would only accept it for the gel x mani. I told the woman working I would like a pedi too, she told me $30. This was the worst pedi, I ever received. The tech, actually caused a small cut in the back of my heal (didn't realize it till I left, when I was feeling it). She just smeared lotion on the feet and legs and wiped it off. After putting one coat of polish on she and the other tech (who started the gel x) left.While sitting in the pedi chair, the tech tossed me samples of the different colors and said pick one, not handed to me, tossed it in my lap. Was left sitting there. The woman who I talked to at the desk was working between and me to finish the mani/pedis. Nonthing was said. While sitting there waiting to have my pedi finished, I was watching this same woman putting lashes on another client. I would warn people that the same pillow (a burgandy pillow with gold lace trim), had no covering. Not a germ freak, put I wouldn't want to lay my head on this pillow. Never know what one has in or on there hair/scalp. When I went to pay for the pedi, I was told I am not allowed to purchase another Groupon. This is my second time here at Forever Beautiful with a Groupon for a no-chip and like the first time, my no chip turned out amazing. The first time I went, I got a no-chip before going on vacation and it lasted the whole trip (about a few weeks in total) and did not chip at all. I didn't get her name this time but she did an amazing job with application and shaping. I called in on New Years Eve at around 1 and was able to book an appointment for 4 since they were already fully booked before then. I would recommend called and asking when their schedule will be cleared so you won't have to wait. After I arrived, 3 other ladies arrived after me, also saying that they called in and made an appointment at 4, but since they had me and another lady in front, they had to wait. The longest they waited was about 10 minutes until another tech got to them but do beware I guess that they will book more than one person with the same time as you. They gave me a very very cheap price for a medium sized tattoo with a lot of detail. that was my first red flag. They take time to clean my cuticles and also trim any side nails I have.. They have not hurt me at all! Also!!!! I really love their no chip nail polishes. Once they started they said we are late so we cannot wait to soak my friends existing nail polish and will have to use an acrylic driller to remove the nail polish. in the rush, they chipped off a nail and over cut another. This place felt slightly dirty. Everything about it...literally felt...slightly dirty. It wasn't filthy. The place presents OK...from a distance. On closer inspection, you just notice things that don't feel as clean as they should. No place is perfect. The problem is there were NUMEROUS things that felt slightly dirty. I could start with the air: although there's a strict mask policy and everyone (staff and patrons) was in compliance, it felt like there was no ventilation in there, which is a problem for me during the pandemic. I tried to look past it. The next thing I saw was a sink I was directed to in an open room where people could receive services on a bed. Not sure why the sink was there but I washed my hands and dried them on the paper towel, trying to overlook the black matter or scrapings in the sink. There were loose hairs on the countertop. I sat in pedicure chair, dipped my feet in what appeared to be plain ass burning hot water in a tinted blue bag. Zero product used. Towel my feet were placed on was damp and crumpled. A fly landed on my leg at one point. Tools used for pedi in no way looked like they had been sanitized recently. Pedicurist one station over was pulling her tools from a dirty tray on the floor. The products and tools closest to me on tray had a layer of (acrylic? nail shavings?) dust over everything. My cuticles were not cut, nor were my nails attended to with much attention. My feet were scraped. The tool looked dirty. Every other thought was "Leave," but it is not easy getting these services so I decided to stay in the hopes that my nails would at least look better. After painting my nails nicely, I was guided to a manicure table. I had residual no chip on some nails; I scraped off most of it before I arrived. Manicurist starts filing the no-chip polish off my nails instead of soaking it with remover/foil (standard process). She is using a very dirty and very used emery board. She also used an old, worn one on my toe nails. I ask her to soak off the polish to preserve my nail surfaces. She balks but complies. She tries to have my sit my non-foil-wrapped fingers in a soaking tray. It looked dirty so I said no. She picked up another one--both had cloudy, tepid water in them and literally looked like plastic denture trays. The closures were clearly dirty and looked like others had been using them. The water was not warm or fresh. When I told her they looked dirty, she sucked her teeth in annoyance. Later, after I washed my hands again in preparation for polishing, she put a grease stained paper towel down for me to rest my hands on. I'm done yall. The prices were cheap. I still have no-chip polish on my nails, under my clear manicure, because it was not removed properly. My toenails look fine. I hope nothing gets infected. Would not return. Would not recommend unless you don't have much to spend, need somewhere closeby, don't mind being close to people in masked environment, and don't mind a little dirtiness. read more

Makes me sad to write this... I have been coming here for years but my last 3 manicures in a row have sucked. I keep coming back because they always fixed it after I had to return however This last time was the worse. I had grown out my nails a bit to get a French but the nail tech cut them to stubs when I said she could trim them. Also instead of soaking my previous gels off, she used the electric nail sander leaving my nails paper thin. I then told her I think they are too short for a French now and she assured me that it would still work. I complained at the end to the owner at check out and she said I should have communicated better and it's not the nail techs decision to do a French. 2 days later 5 of my nails split and continued to split even after I trimmed them and now going into my nail bed. I went to this place back in October 6, 2020. Decided to go to this place because it was close to where I live and I was kinda in a hurry to have my nails done. All I can say my experience with this place was horrible. I wanted to have my nails done because of my friend's wedding on that same weekend.I decided to do acrylic fake nails because my actual nails weren't long enough. The lady kept on cutting my cuticles, literally all 10 of them, and kept on telling me I'm the one with low pain tolerance, and she told me to deal with it.. I ended up going to a different place to fix it, luckily the other place did a great job saving my nails. This place really needs to reflect with their customer service and with their workers. Free street parking Cons- Manicurest was quite rude & rough with my cuticles I will be back because it's in my neighborhood, great pricing and they're one of the few nail salons that has given me a no chip that lasted over 2 weeks without chipping.
