I love this salon. It's mostly appointment only so I never have to deal with crowds. It's very clean and quiet, so you're able to relax while still connecting with the staff. I always get a regular manicure and pedicure. I don't have any experience with their other services. They have classic colors by Essie and OPI plus a good amount of no chip colors. I love the warm hand mitten during the manicure. After they cut and file your nails, they massage your hands with lotion, add the cuticle cream, wrap your hand in plastic wrap, and put it in a warm mitten. It's great. The pedicures are standard. I love that it's never overcrowded here. I can't stress that enough! I've gotten appointments on the same day, with as little as an hour notice, so don't be put off by the appointments. This is the most lovely nail salon I've been to in Chicago. The women working there are so sweet, and make everyone feel like regulars. They're also fairly priced for very high quality work! Horrible, horrible, horrible. I went in for a no chip mani and was told to try the dipping gel instead because it's supposed to be healthier and longer lasting. It was all false. The nails begin to chip on the second day. By now only a week and a half since I got the mani, I now have 6 chipped nails. I'm terribly upset and disappointed. I called the salon to tell them about the chipped nails and they have addressed the issue poorly. No call back as promised, can't return my money, and can't do a no chip manicure instead. I basically threw away $35 dollars . DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON-- it was my first horrible experience. I've had a nail chip at CNN Nails and they fixed it immediately at no additional cost. The quality and service at this place is horrible to say the least. Save yourself money and time and go somewhere else. Love it here! I've been twice and really enjoyed myself the second time around especially. I went for a spa facial and manicure. I figured they would put us in separate rooms but was pleased when we were able to be side-by-side in one room. The ladies were very professional and made me feel excellent! Sue did my facial and manicure, and did a great job. She was very gentle on my face, yet was firm for the shoulder massage. I was disappointed during the roughness but appreciated it when it was over with. As for the manicure, it was perfect and I will certainly return. Sue even put my mom and I's jacket on as to not ruin our nails. A detail that I found to be very sweet. Finally, it's been two days since my treatment and my face looks fabulous!!! Horrendous. They pretended that I didn't have an appt. and wouldnt take me til I showed them my placed calls from two days before. They treated me like crap and let my acrylic nails soak for 45 min til I complained that my fingers hurt! I chose a gel dip color based on a sample they had and when I mentioned it was completely different than the color I got, they said " old sample, it faded". A group of my friends and I had a private event there today. The space was clean and smelled great. Everything was neatly organized. I must say that the professionalism and friendly customer service was outstanding! These ladies truly know how to pamper their clients. They were very accommodating and polite. Excellent service. Absolutely awful. Called to get my nails done I was told they could do it. I go across town to be turned away and told they are closed. It was 7:20pm and their sign and online say they close at 8pm. I took my mother there for mother's day a few days early and it was packed but they kindly made room for her. My mother keeps on telling me what a nice and meticulous job Sue(?) has done. I went to perfect 10 to get a full set of gel nails. First, they did acrylic with a gel overlay which is not the same as actual gel nails. The nail technician did take her time and the end result looked great. However, not even a week went by before most of my nails came off. Pros: Walk-in's, take their time, good selection of colors, and friendly Cons: Does not do actual gel nails, acrylic nails will fall off within a week, and semi-cleaned workstation/tools. I was here recently, about a week ago and the service was questionable. The woman was extremely rough on my hands and in general rude. I had a full acrylic with tips done and AM LITERALLY SO MAD. Pricey and no chip machines are out of date you think they would have qualify lights as well as gel polish

This place is cheaply priced, but that's reflected in the quality. I had a manicure done on Sunday and by Monday the polish was cracking and by Tuesday it was chipping off completely. I noticed the manicurist did not do a complete second coat on many of my nails (missed spots). Even though it's inexpensive and close to my house, I will not return. Waste of money. read more

Got my eyebrows waxed and while they did a great job, I noticed the technician reused the same application stick. I've gone to Perfect 10 several times over the past 3 years or so. I've always been pleased with the results. I've gotten mani's and pedi's and waxes. Each service has been done quickly and professionally. On 12/30/11 I got a no-chip manicure (not the horrible opi no-chip) and still today, almost 3 weeks later, there are no chips or signs of deterioration of the polish and its still as shiny as the day it was done. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I was here on 11/12/14 to get my nails done with my friend getting married, another bridesmaid, and mother of the groom. They said they closed at 8 and my appointment was at 7. To begin I got there and was rushed to the chair without even having time to look at which colors I wanted just because it had been specified that I wanted no chip. She didn't really understand what I wanted with my nails and kept making a face when I asked her to do a little more to fix them. The brides nails started peeling after an hour of being there. The other bridesmaid got a french and didn't get a clear shiny coat over. Nothing but issues. I understand that they close at 8 but we didn't not have to be rushed. Fast forward a week later, my no chip is peeling. No chips should be guaranteed for 2 weeks. I called them they claimed they couldn't give me a refund and I had to come in to for them to determine if they can fix it. Not even worth my time and money. The establishment has a beautiful decor. Everyone seems very friendly and I have been there 3 times to get a basic facial. She does a great job and it is very relaxing. I have been taken as a walk-in customer, have been squeezed in during the day, and have set up appointments without any issues. I love Perfect 10 spa! I have been coming here for almost 5 years and all of the girls who work here are awesome. I go to Sue, in my opinion she is the best, because not only is she great at doing nails but her customer service is what makes me keep coming back. She always finds time to squeeze me in for an appointment and if I ever chip a nail she fixes it for me right away. I get the dipping no chip manicure and I'm always getting compliments on how great my nails look. The spa is very relaxing and all of the ladies are always very friendly. Went here for the gel dip. Most places you go to soak your previous dip or no chip off with foil and cotton. Here they had me soak it off by putting both my hands In a bowl which I assume was acetone and rub it against a paper towel so I pretty much took it off myself. Not only have my hands been extremely dry since but why pay when your doing it by yourself anyways. I've been getting the gel dip for about two years I chose to try here because it was close to my work. It has been one week and three of my nails have cracked. They did not have many colors to choose from and the tech was no help when asking for suggestions. I know not everywhere offers the dip so they could be new to it but they certainly need some improvements on it. I am giving it three stars only because the owner was there when I went and seemed nothing but nice and they could be good at other services but i definitely do not recommend the gel dip!! read more
