Ever since I saw this place I have wanted to visit, but the price is rather rich for my blood ($100…read morefor a Face Wash). They do a discount on Thursdays for $85. That's quite a bargain compared to the salons on the Mag Mile or Oak Street. Luckily I got a gift card for the holidays! I came in on a Saturday morning and was waited on right away. They have reclining for relaxing and laying back of course. I was able to stay fully dressed, no robe needed. They design the washes for those in a hurry. My esthetician, Keisha, was professional and kind as she explained the products she applied and asked what I was using. They use their own brand of products(I never did find out what CBQ stood for). Keisha asked what I used on my skin, and complimented me on a nice job, so maybe that was why she did not pressure me into buying any products. She did recommend a serum. The use of machines in addition to hands was useful; The first machine produced steam to open the pores of course, while another one was very cold, but it reduced puffiness. A third machine had a suction function. The soothing Inspirational (ok, Christian) music added to a calm, positive atmosphere. The slide show with tips on skin care such as what to avoid/add was a good substitute for lectures. My only drawback was privacy. The chairs are all in one room, the same room as the lobby, and not spaced out so much, so there was little privacy. The only private room is probably where the waxes are done. I don't have much to hide concerning my skin, but if you enjoy chatting and sharing personal info to an aesthetician, you may want to go when it's very quiet.

I'd never had a face wash before being more accustomed to the chemical facials but it was pleasurable. It being my birthday weekend I also received a complimentary treatment removing dirty skin cells and excess hair giving me a nice natural glow up. I'll be back for sure and the only thing I'd change is a pot of hot water so that clients can have fresh tea and tea bags versus the like warm tea that had been sitting out all day. Other then that, highly recommend you treat yo'self! It's worth it!!!

On a scale from 1-10, I'd have to say this was about a 6. Luckily, Evenita uses a numbing cream, I couldn't image the process without it. Evenita walked me through the entire process and made me feel more at ease as she worked her magic. After she was finished, I looked in the mirror and I immediately decided this was worth it!!! Overall, I imagine that like any service based place, it can be hit or miss depending on the time…read moreof day, who is working, and what type of day everyone is having. I have never gotten a pedicure before, but ended up tagging along with some friends who wanted to go. This was a very spacious salon and it felt like it was busy, but not too busy on a Friday afternoon. We all decided to get the Spring Romance Package and I'm not sure if we got everything listed (it said there was a tea, but I honestly couldn't tell if that was actually a drink or what the soak was called, lol). My friends and I agreed that I probably had the best experience out of everyone, so it really can vary depending on who is working. I believe my techs name was Johnny and he was great. One of my friends asked specifically to not get the scrub since she doesn't like them, but her tech ended up giving her the scrub and not another step of the treatment which she was bothered by. My friend who gets pedicures fairly often said that these were some of the best massage chairs he's ever experienced. One thing that isn't clear before going is that you can't add a tip if paying with card, so bring some cash to tip. They do have an ATM inside the salon, but I imagine there are services fees involved with that as well. Salon visits aren't really a thing I have worked into my budget, but I think if I wasn't able to take care of my feet and I could get the same tech, I would probably go here again. I loved the color that I picked and it makes me happy to see it on my toes!

It's interesting that your entire response focuses on whether you can find a name in your records…read morerather than addressing the actual concerns raised. The review wasn't about an appointment dispute, it was about the unprofessional environment that was observed during the visit. Instead of acknowledging those concerns, you immediately labeled the review as "fraudulent" and accused a former employee of writing it without presenting any evidence. That response speaks for itself. Professional businesses address customer feedback, even when it's negative. They don't deflect, speculate about who wrote it, or publicly accuse others. The fact that you chose to do so only reinforces the concerns about professionalism, discretion, and business conduct that were described in the original review. Readers can decide for themselves whether a business owner who responds to criticism with accusations rather than accountability is someone they want to trust with their time and money.
