I tried to keep giving this nail salon a try but I've had enough. I think it's very wrong to overcharge people for things "just because". Just because you may think they won't tip or just because you think they won't know the difference or just because you can. But, to keep charging different prices for nail designs that are simple, no rhinestones or anything is insane. How is a fill in more than a full set??? I was charged $100 for a A FILL IN. That included two colors and the same simple design on each nail. $100 for medium length nails. When I inquired about the price I was told "designs were $45 because she had to make everything even". WHAT? Absurd. The designs aren't even EVEN! This isn't the first time this salon has overcharged me but I just keep coming back because it is conveniently located and most of the staff are nice. I won't even get started on the pedicures in this review. I'll just say, depending on who you get to do your pedicure you can have a great experience. Others just want to get you in and out quickly and don't put the same care and quality into their work.

Today I visited Taday Nail Spa with the thought of having my nails done by Chloe or Michelle. Unfortunately, Chloe wasn't there and Michelle doesn't do Gel X. I had the pleasure of sitting in Ashley's chair today, and I must admit that it was quite a pleasure. I went in having no idea as to what I wanted. I showed her one design and she took off from there. She was truly patient with me continually asking if I was okay with what she was doing because all she wanted to know was if I was pleased and I'm truly pleased walking out of Taday nails. I would definitely sit in Ashley's chair again.

First time here they were quick to get me started. They have many techs and seem friendly . I was happy with how my nails turned out except the one big thing I mentioned 3 times to 2 different staff members (and also over the phone before I came in) I wanted was glow in the dark and these were not. They were lovely but again my main request was glow in the dark as I was reassured repeatedly that's what I was getting. Other than that I'd go back I probably still will for a fill in. read more

I've been coming here on and off for over 10+ years and the quality has went down hill. They don't do a good job at all anymore. Rushed mani and pedis. Bring the ladies back pre pandemic. They were the best that ever worked there. Or maybe it's just every nail tech I've went to, and it's been at least 5 and not 1 did a good job. This place sucks!!! Won't ever come back. When you've been getting your nails done for over 20+ years you know how this shit goes. Well back to the Russian Manicures. It's expensive, but so worth the price, quality is always superb!!! TADAY SUCKS! HIRE BETTER WORKERS WHO WONT RUSH!!! read more

Full disclosure... My expectation of the establishment us low based on the store's location, and the reality met my expectation. The inside is cramped, uninviting and untidy. There are similar low grade nails in the area that is I would recommend before this store. No shade, just disappointed that as a community,we are willing to accept subpar service. read more

Always able to walk in and be serviced without any hassle. 90's-2000s r&b is always playing which is a plus. :) I go to Cici she is the sweetest for no-chip acrylic sets. She takes her time with shaping and designs with quality. While you're being serviced complimentary drinks and small candy tray is walked around to every client as a treat. There is a point reward system with your phone number and discount if you pay cash. read more

I've tried this place more than once. greeted 10/10 (the lady that work the desk is really nice) eyebrows 0/10 pedicure 0/10 I asked for an overlay with white polish. As soon as I left the shop my nail broke. so I had to come back to get it fixed just for them to tell me I had to wait and have someone different do it with no real experience. They played with my time and patience. Chloe is good with the nails though. Other than that do your research with who you want to have work on your nails, eyebrow and feet. I will no longer be coming back to this place after me having a bad experience on more than one occasion. Everybody experience is different and I tried my best to like this location but hey that's my review. read more

I'm so disappointed I have long natural nails all my nails are unevenly cut. I paid $110 and left a good tip. I will not be back. I'm really upset really really upset and they totally destroyed my natural nails that I've worked hard on it was the young guy not good. There was such a language barrier he cut my nails so short I didn't ask for that and he put acrylic on my two nails that I didn't ask for. I told him I had acrylic on my toenail. It was just a mess and I'm really disappointed. read more

This was probably my fault for going to a new nail salon however I waited patiently for my turn. Once I was told to sit in seat 8 for my pedicure I watched them prepare water for other feet to soak while I was ignored for 13 min with my timberlands on. I could have placed my boots in the empty basin or even on the platform where the feet are manicured but I decided to leave. Explained to the lady at the front regarding my dissatisfaction and she apologized but made no attempt to correct the oversight. I will not be back. read more

This is my second time coming to this salon and I LOVE it. I have had such a hard time finding somewhere consistent in the city and I'll definitely be regularly coming here for my pedicures and nails. Michelle did my sets both time and she is amazing! I went to Taday Nails for the first time the other week for a no-chip pedicure. It's rare to have a nail salon open on Monday so right away that was a plus. The receptionist was attentive for a busy day and the nail tech gave me clean work. Three weeks later my toes are still looking good! I'll be back for sure. read more

I just moved to the area an although I knew the nail shop was there I never stopped by I always went to fairy nails on 52nd Harper and their always packed and the wait is forever the service is good if you catch the right person I don't hate them but I don't love them I'm just used yo them but, this time I decided to stop this one on cottage and can I just say IM GEEKED I LOOOOVED IIIIT I don't just love my nails I actually had fun there. The guy at the front desk hooked me up the service was quick they was playn all my songs the guy was very funny so I was not bored at all and it's a week n a half later an my nails still ON POINT.... Today was my first experience at Taday. I love the convenience to my home, prices are comparable, décor fresh and new. The service was excellent. Ms. Mimi perform an excellent pedi with leg and foot massage. She is quite the little salesperson plugging in other service offerings which I will have done at another visit. Tom was my nail technician for my gel set. He was efficient and professional. The service overall was superb. On a walk in day, where no appointments are booked, secret is to come early and within 2 mins., you are ushered in for your first set of service. Very pleased and impressed. This may sound dramatic, but Tina literally gave me the best pedicure I've ever had. She took her time and I didn't feel like she was rushing to the next customer despite the place being a little busy. Nancy did my nails (fullset with powder) and she also did a wonderful job. This is the one nail shop that I feel I can trust nearly anyone that services me. They're busy on the weekends, so I go on weekdays where there is typically little to no wait. Taday nails is my favorite nail shop in Chicago, especially in the Bronzeville area. Allison, Casey or Paul ate my favorites but anyone in there will do a great job. Emily always greets me with a smile and make me feels welcome. I never have to wait, no matter what day of the week I'm taking care of right away . 10 stars for this nail shop. This was my second time going to this nail shop in a very long time. When i got here the service was quick & they were all very courteous. The person who did my nails was Sweetheart lol. And he was very nice & made my visit a pleasure! He fixed my nails that were a disaster from the previous nail shop I had been to for no charge! I give them five stars, I would give ten if I could! As soon as you walk in, its evident that they are under new ownership! The staff is extremely pleasant, personable, and really aims to please the costumer! They don't cut corners and rush on services like most local salons! They have high quality products, offer beverages and candies upon entry, and even have a new rewards system!I am beyond satisfied w my entire visit! read more

Was in Chicago on a business trip and was in dire for a pedicure and found this place on yelp. So glad I did. Walked in was immediately welcomed and seated in a massage chair for my pedicure. Lynn did a fantastic job on my no-chip pedi and took great care of me. She was quick ....!! I will be back on my next visit to Chicago for sure...! read more

Great service! I've been coming to Taday Nails for years. The new owners have definitely transformed the place very nicely with the new renovation, polishes and (just added) pedi/ mani spa packages. This place was absolutely amazing and the staff are just as great! I loved the experience and I will definitely come back. I loooooooove this nail spa. The service was exceptional and my feet feel amazing. There may be a wait when you go but TRUST me it's SO worth da wait. Today is my first time coming to a nail salon with a friend. I asked the receptionist what services a man do in here. She suggested that I should try the deluxe pedicure. The massage felt really good and my feet feel so clean. I would recommend coming back. The people at the front are so nice. read more

The new owner is a beautiful person he makes sure everyone get what they pay for. I've been going here for about two years now I use to travel all the way on 79th and Jeffery " not no mo I get a dam good service at this spot and it is way better than downtown or any other place. read more

This is a very busy salon however in my experience, the people were very nice. My service was outstanding and my no chip lasted over two weeks. They are reasonably priced and Lucy gives a great pedicure. Sweetheart does good nails. O recommend and I have found me a new spot. read more

This place really does do great nails. They take your time and give you what you want and have multiple color of nail polish. Sweetheart does a great job with my nails and he is funny talk to. If you need your nails done ask for sweetheart he is awesome with nails. read more
