Found this shop on yelp and seen miss CeCe work and loved it had to come check her out for myself and she literally nailed it I love my nails I usually get white nails but she encouraged me to try something new and I love it I will definitely be back here

Update... I really wanted to like this place but it's trash... you have a few good nail techs but that's it... I got gel x nails and they were sloppy and crooked. This is sad

Michelle is so good!! I showed her a pic and she did exactly what I wanted. I So happy! I'm ready for THE BEARS

Chloe is my absolute favorite, she is extremely talented and very creative!

Chloe is my absolute favorite! She is very talented and creative. I always walk away loving my nails.

Simple nails that I was charged $100 for just a fill in for. Designs were $45 alone. Smh.

I tried to keep giving this nail salon a try but I've had enough. I think it's very wrong to overcharge people for things "just because". Just because you may think they won't tip or just because you think they won't know the difference or just because you can. But, to keep charging different prices for nail designs that are simple, no rhinestones or anything is insane. How is a fill in more than a full set??? I was charged $100 for a A FILL IN. That included two colors and the same simple design on each nail. $100 for medium length nails. When I inquired about the price I was told "designs were $45 because she had to make everything even". WHAT? Absurd. The designs aren't even EVEN! This isn't the first time this salon has overcharged me but I just keep coming back because it is conveniently located and most of the staff are nice. I won't even get started on the pedicures in this review. I'll just say, depending on who you get to do your pedicure you can have a great experience. Others just want to get you in and out quickly and don't put the same care and quality into their work.

Cici did an amazing with my holiday nails and finished so fast! The taday staff also had great customer service and refreshments.

Today I visited Taday Nail Spa with the thought of having my nails done by Chloe or Michelle. Unfortunately, Chloe wasn't there and Michelle doesn't do Gel X. I had the pleasure of sitting in Ashley's chair today, and I must admit that it was quite a pleasure. I went in having no idea as to what I wanted. I showed her one design and she took off from there. She was truly patient with me continually asking if I was okay with what she was doing because all she wanted to know was if I was pleased and I'm truly pleased walking out of Taday nails. I would definitely sit in Ashley's chair again.

I was seated right away when I came. Also, front desk was very polite and was able to answer questions I asked.

This is my favorite neighborhood spot! They recently are under new management and have so many upgrades inside! Service is always excellent and top notch quality nails. My faves are Chloe, Michelle and Allison. Go here - you won't regret it! And tell them Alicen sent you!

Taday nails is one of my favorite places to get my nails done since I have moved to the bronzeville area. The staff are all so courteous and have such pleasant and positive presence amongst themselves. They attend to your every need and if you need a fix they are happy to help. Today I had the pleasure of getting my nails done by Kely and pedicure by Ton phenomenal experience and perfect shape and color!

First time here they were quick to get me started. They have many techs and seem friendly . I was happy with how my nails turned out except the one big thing I mentioned 3 times to 2 different staff members (and also over the phone before I came in) I wanted was glow in the dark and these were not. They were lovely but again my main request was glow in the dark as I was reassured repeatedly that's what I was getting. Other than that I'd go back I probably still will for a fill in. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Taday Nails. On Sunday, June 7, I visited the salon for a fill-in on an existing set and paid $76.26. This was the very first fill-in for the set. Less than 24 hours later, on the morning of June 8, one nail broke. On June 9, a second nail broke. I called the salon on June 10 to explain the situation. Rather than expressing concern about the quality of the service, the male manager immediately informed me that it would cost an additional $15 to repair the two nails because the salon does not guarantee fill-ins, only full sets. After a lengthy discussion, he eventually stated that the repairs could be done at no charge, but only if completed by the same technician who serviced me. Unfortunately, I had an event to attend that afternoon and could not risk an extended wait. The following day, I called again and spoke with a female manager. She also began by reiterating that fill-ins are not guaranteed and that repairs must be completed by the original technician. She then informed me that the salon was slow and, if I came immediately, they would make an exception and repair the nails. I rushed to the salon, which is less than a 10-minute drive away, only to arrive and be told there were already two people ahead of me and that the wait would be more than 30 minutes. This was especially frustrating given that I had specifically called ahead and adjusted my schedule based on the information I was provided. While I understand that salons have policies, I find it unreasonable that two nails would break within days of a routine fill-in and that the response was to argue policy rather than address a clear quality concern. What was most disappointing was not the broken nails themselves, but the lack of accountability, inconsistent communication, and poor customer service from management. As a first-time customer receiving a fill-in on a relatively new set, I expected better workmanship and a more customer-focused resolution. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with little confidence in returning. read more

I will start off by saying that I've been coming to this salon for the last three years but as of yesterday, they've lost me as a customer. I went to Taday Nails on Cottage Grove yesterday to get my nails done for my BIRTHDAY! I showed Emily the owner a picture and I asked her if she knew how to do the designs. I informed her if she didn't know how to I can go somewhere else. It took two hours for a new nail tech, Emily and others in the shop to do my nails. I expressed frustration throughout the time that I was receiving the service and when they finished I was charged $143 for this ugly shit. Emily had the audacity to tell me I can go somewhere else next time! Majority of my friends went to this location because of me but a lot of them stopped going when Chloe and CeCe left. I should've did the same thing. I will attach pictures for reference. read more

Full disclosure... My expectation of the establishment us low based on the store's location, and the reality met my expectation. The inside is cramped, uninviting and untidy. There are similar low grade nails in the area that is I would recommend before this store. No shade, just disappointed that as a community,we are willing to accept subpar service. read more

I've been coming here on and off for over 10+ years and the quality has went down hill. They don't do a good job at all anymore. Rushed mani and pedis. Bring the ladies back pre pandemic. They were the best that ever worked there. Or maybe it's just every nail tech I've went to, and it's been at least 5 and not 1 did a good job. This place sucks!!! Won't ever come back. When you've been getting your nails done for over 20+ years you know how this shit goes. Well back to the Russian Manicures. It's expensive, but so worth the price, quality is always superb!!! TADAY SUCKS! HIRE BETTER WORKERS WHO WONT RUSH!!! read more

Always able to walk in and be serviced without any hassle. 90's-2000s r&b is always playing which is a plus. :) I go to Cici she is the sweetest for no-chip acrylic sets. She takes her time with shaping and designs with quality. While you're being serviced complimentary drinks and small candy tray is walked around to every client as a treat. There is a point reward system with your phone number and discount if you pay cash. read more

I've tried this place more than once. greeted 10/10 (the lady that work the desk is really nice) eyebrows 0/10 pedicure 0/10 I asked for an overlay with white polish. As soon as I left the shop my nail broke. so I had to come back to get it fixed just for them to tell me I had to wait and have someone different do it with no real experience. They played with my time and patience. Chloe is good with the nails though. Other than that do your research with who you want to have work on your nails, eyebrow and feet. I will no longer be coming back to this place after me having a bad experience on more than one occasion. Everybody experience is different and I tried my best to like this location but hey that's my review. read more

This was probably my fault for going to a new nail salon however I waited patiently for my turn. Once I was told to sit in seat 8 for my pedicure I watched them prepare water for other feet to soak while I was ignored for 13 min with my timberlands on. I could have placed my boots in the empty basin or even on the platform where the feet are manicured but I decided to leave. Explained to the lady at the front regarding my dissatisfaction and she apologized but made no attempt to correct the oversight. I will not be back. read more

I'm so disappointed I have long natural nails all my nails are unevenly cut. I paid $110 and left a good tip. I will not be back. I'm really upset really really upset and they totally destroyed my natural nails that I've worked hard on it was the young guy not good. There was such a language barrier he cut my nails so short I didn't ask for that and he put acrylic on my two nails that I didn't ask for. I told him I had acrylic on my toenail. It was just a mess and I'm really disappointed. read more

I recently visited TaDay Nails and had a fantastic experience. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted at the door by friendly staff who provided great customer service. They made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my visit. One thing that stood out to me was that they offered beverages, which was a nice touch. The massage chairs were all in working condition, and I opted for a deluxe hot stone massage pedicure. It was truly a treat for my feet! The pedicure was done with great care and attention to detail. I was impressed by the level of skill and artistry that went into the nail painting. The nail technician, Chloe, was my go-to and she never disappoints. She always goes above and beyond to ensure that my nails look fabulous. Overall, my experience at TaDay Nails was exceptional. The combination of great customer service, comfortable atmosphere, and top-notch nail services made it a standout salon for me. I highly recommend giving it a try, especially if you're looking for a nail technician like Chloe who can turn your nails into a work of art. read more

Today was my first experience at Taday. I love the convenience to my home, prices are comparable, décor fresh and new. The service was excellent. Ms. Mimi perform an excellent pedi with leg and foot massage. She is quite the little salesperson plugging in other service offerings which I will have done at another visit. Tom was my nail technician for my gel set. He was efficient and professional. The service overall was superb. On a walk in day, where no appointments are booked, secret is to come early and within 2 mins., you are ushered in for your first set of service. Very pleased and impressed. Today Nails & Spa is my new nail salon. Check them out, you will be glad you did! read more

I just got engaged and I wanted some cute plain white nails...simple enough right? I guess not. I told my technician, whose name eludes me, that I wanted to keep the length of my natural nails but just round the edges. The next thing I know, the nails are all filed down SO low that it started to burn and hurt when she was using the emory board. This has literally never happened before. To cover it up, she decided it would be great to paint over a part of burned/cut off skin with gel polish and cure it. I didn't find this out until I got back to my office and noticed the paint went over my skin in a literal open wound, hence the review. What was supposed to be a simple white paint no chip mani that should take less than 45 minutes turned into an amateur-at-best hour and a half long chop job. I'm super disappointed because I really wanted to love this place, but it's just a reminder of why I do my own manicures. ‍
