Jasmin does a fantastic job, and knows just how to shape my eyebrows in a manner than most flatters my facial features. I always leave the salon satisfied with the quality of service. I have also received two pedicures there and have liked them, especially for the price and the time and effort the pedicurists put into their work. You do not need to call ahead if you want your brows threaded, but I recommend that you call ahead if you want a pedicure. The ambience is simple and almost hole in the wall--it's not the kind of place where you want to linger for too long. I've never experienced issues with cleanliness. One caveat: the thread used during the threading process tends to be on the thicker side. This sometimes causes small cuts that heal in a day or so. I use tretinoin (though I do not use it the day before and the day of threading) and have thick brows, which could perhaps be contributing to the cuts. Overall, I highly recommend the threading services at Jasmin's, especially when they are offered by Jasmin herself!

I can't get a regular pedicure because I am doing chemotherapy and I'm immunocompromised. I came in…read moreand the only thing they did that was kind as well as correct was just offer me a polish change. I wanted French but they said they couldn't do French unless the base was clear because they use nail polish remover to make the French design. That seems like inexperience to me. I've been to places where they do French over a pink base with regular polish but this is not the spot for that. So we pivoted because I didn't want gel polish. I said I'd go to the car and get the regular color I had on my fingernails. The woman started putting clear polish on my toes so I couldn't put on shoes and go get it. Since I was in a rush we just decided on a pink dnd color with funny bunny on top to make it more white. The joke was on me trying to be in and out. I showed up at 2 and didn't leave until 3:30. It should not have taken an hour and a half for a polish change. The original woman made the funny bunny coat on top too thick and lumpy. So I asked her if she could remove it and I could redo it. I repainted my big toe correctly and then another nail tech came and touched my toenail to see if it was dry and ended up smudging the polish. We had to take it off again. The nail tech that had messed up my nail repainted it but did the same mistake as the first tech. The polish is old and lumpy and unless you put it on thinly, it is going to be lumpy on the toe. So she removed it and said a other tech would try to paint it. When that nail tech finally did come over 20 minutes later, she was able to fix the issue because she found a bottle of funny bunny that wasn't dried out. But most importantly, she listened to what I had been saying from the start. My original nail tech never came back out. And I'm annoyed that I had done it correctly and then they messed it up. I would avoid this place unless you're getting gel. Even the last nail tech said it would have turned out better if I had gotten gel. They seem not to be able to do the basic regular polish well. Just do your own nails at home if you want regular polish. I know I will be. There was also a man on FaceTime on speakerphone in the shop and we were forced to hear his conversation for the entirety of his pedicure. They did not ask him to get off of speaker. It was really annoying and not a relaxing environment.

We all decided to get the Spring Romance Package and I'm not sure if we got everything listed (it said there was a tea, but I honestly couldn't tell if that was actually a drink or what the soak was called, lol). My friends and I agreed that I probably had the best experience out of everyone, so it really can vary depending on who is working. I believe my techs name was Johnny and he was great. One of my friends asked specifically to not get the scrub since she doesn't like them, but her tech ended up giving her the scrub and not another step of the treatment which she was bothered by. My friend who gets pedicures fairly often said that these were some of the best massage chairs he's ever experienced. One thing that isn't clear before going is that you can't add a tip if paying with card, so bring some cash to tip. They do have an ATM inside the salon, but I imagine there are services fees involved with that as well. Salon visits aren't really a thing I have worked into my budget, but I think if I wasn't able to take care of my feet and I could get the same tech, I would probably go here again. Alyssa called me the day before to adjust my appointment time. While I appreciate the forethought I arranged my work and family schedule for my appointment weeks in advance. I could not change it in 24 hours. Then she arrived late. I guess it's a generational thing but I wasn't warmly greeted when she arrived but simply told to select my color and I had already done so. There was no bottled water offered to paying customers and the pedicure station is a makeshift row bench not the usually recliners and bowls any spa goer is accustomed to. She did an excellent job on both the mani and pedi but seeing the $90 bill for both services made it difficult to tip for such basic services with no add on tips or paraffin waxes. She seemed almost annoyed that she had to work. The quality was also poor. She didn't remove my cuticles or apply any lotion afterwards. I also had to ask her to use the UV light to set my nails just by virtue of having that done in the past. It was as if I somehow knew better than her because she for some reason put a normal top coat and didn't set the nails. They chipped the SAME DAY. Maybe it was the person working that day, but due to the small setting and weird set up, I do not recommend this place. You're better off getting fake nail stick ons and going somewhere else.

My dermatologist wanted to know why I never showed it to her in all these years. Not one ever mentioned it, until Michelle. The space is small, within Sola Salon. It is well appointed. You will need to sit in a regular chair but the environment was quite relaxing. She first files the nails before cutting. She told me it reduces the chance of a nail splitting. She uses disposable everything, even a nail brush. She takes her time so expect your pedicure and manicure to last longer. I got the rose petal pedicure and it was wonderful. I got a manicure, and my nails feel strong and not one has broken. I never liked the manicures at the omni-present nail shops and my nails always cracked or broke afterwards. She does acrylic and no chip also. Paying was touchless with the option of Zelle or Cashapp. Traditional methods are also accepted.
