I bought a Groupon for this place that included 3 eyebrow threads. I used one at the end of October and came back for my 2nd today. They told me my 3rd would not be honored. The first time I went they looked at me crazy when I even told them I bought a Groupon! Why sell them then?! I felt unwelcome. They do a rushed job anyway so I'll be taking my services elsewhere. read more

I've stopped by a couple of times before for facial threading and one time for a full face waxing. There were never any issues other than prices increasing after covid, which I think is understandable. I returned on 12/6/21 around 5PM. There were no customers in there so I was quickly seated down. I told the employee that I wanted to try the full face waxing again since the last time I enjoyed the ending result. The employee started waxing my face. I felt some tenderness from the hot wax around my eyes but just thought that maybe the skin was thinner there. She got some of the wax on my hairline but I figured I could just wash that out later. The wax seemed to be sticking and she was having to use some force to remove it. The employee went over the area around my upper lip and chin multiple times with the hot wax and even used the threading technique. Certain areas of my face was stinging when we were done but I wasn't sure if it was just being sensitive from the wax. Once I got home and had a chance to look in the mirror, I realized that it wasn't just swelling from irritation. My face was burned in multiple places. Specifically around my eyes, my lips and chin. The burns were raw and red. Today they have started scabbing over. Its pretty unsightly. I hope that there will be no permanent scarring. I returned on 12/8/21 around 4:45 to ask for a refund. The person who did my wax was there and she called her manager. She offered me a discount on a future service but I declined and she would only be willing to give me back $35 which didn't include the tax and tip. I didn't understand why I should have to tip and pay taxes for a service that ruined my skin. They told me not to come back but demanded I bring back their future service discount punch card. Apparently that card was more important than any type of professional customer service. read more

I wasn't going to leave a review because i've been going here for YEARS, but this place is not the same anymore. HIGHLY unsanitary on many different occasions. i went to get my eyebrows threaded and she brushed them with the filthiest brush. when i said it was dirty they insisted it wasn't and i asked them to bring me a clean one.. the comparison was disturbing (picture attached). On my most recent visit, i almost got my legs waxed. She told me to come in the first room on the right and the cover that was on the bed was dirty. she said she would put paper over it but i didn't even want to lay on top of it. She then told me she would do it in the other room... I went in that one and that bed had a blue cover on it that was also filthy. When i said it was dirty she said "Noo, no dirty" but there was obviously removable stains and substances on it. She had just got don't waxing somebody else and didn't bother to sanitize it so that says a lot right there. Hate to say it but I won't be back... ever. read more

Please do not get your lashes applied here. The attendants are not sanitary or licensed. When I visited this salon, I asked an attendant to please wash her hands or use hand sanitizer. She did not respond, but I thought she did. She didn't! She also used a bizarre tool to apply and squeeze the false lash onto my lash line. At one point the tool almost scratched my eyeball. Just get threading and hair removal done here, if anything. Make sure you see them wash their hands or sanitize them. They aren't compelled to just do it in their own. read more

Nice addition to the area. I just recently discovered The Threading Zone was open and finally got to check it out this afternoon. I had my eyebrows threaded after waiting a few minutes. The two young ladies were pleasant and performed the requested services quickly. I probably was in the salon for maybe 10 minutes total and there was a constant flow of traffic. The salon is nice, modern and clean. They could stand to lower the heat a bit though because it was rather toasty inside. The florescent lights are also extremely bright. The light was blinding after having my eyes closed for a short while.. They should also maybe think about getting a light bulbs with a little less wattage. Anyway, the threading was only $8. They offer a rewards program where I believe the eighth visit is free. The young lady who serviced me did a nice job. I'll definitely be a return customer. read more

This has become my go-to spot for brow threading. They always get them perfect without needing any direction and pricing is fair at $10 for brows. I can't speak for facials, body waxing or makeup, but I've never needed an appointment. I've always come as a walk-in and am usually out within 10 minutes or less. They recently changed their policy to cash only for any purchase less than $15 (I think?) so be sure to come prepared if you're someone who doesn't typically carry cash. read more

Beware. After reading the rave reviews I decided to try this new shop since I was in the area. BIG mistake. The place is clean and the staff is polite, but my technician took my super thick eyebrows and made them very thin. I was very clear, but it was a classic case of customer asks for one thing but technician does another...or maybe the thin arch is all she knew how to do. Our conversation went like this: Me: Hi. This is my first time here. I really like my eyebrows thick. Very thick. Super thick. Like a man. Let me know if you have any questions. The technician silently smiled and nodded in agreement. 8 minutes later she handed me the mirror and she had removed half of the hair on both sides and one eyebrow was thicker. I asked her for the brush in case it wasn't as bad as it looked. It was, so I told her this isn't what I wanted as it is too thin. I'm not sure that she understood. When checking out, the other technician was also at the register. I elaborated on what happened. I explained that I really wanted them thick and that some clients don't want the thinner look. The woman who serviced me said she would keep this in mind for next time and her colleague simply said the woman always does a good job. Huh? If you have thick eyebrows, be careful. read more

Thanks to yelp for putting me on to threading zone. I wanted to sneak in a quick eyebrow treatment and this place is just a little south of me, and open on Sundays! There was only one person working and she is particular and careful, so not the fastest. I waited about 10 minutes to get my brows done because there were two people ahead of me, which was not bad at all. My eyebrows now look nice and clean, and it costs $8 which is much more affordable than at other places. read more

I've put off for a while trying this salon and I'm so glad I decided to stop today to have my eyebrows threaded. On a Friday afternoon I was able to walk right in as they had a few stylists working on customers. The young lady who did my brows did a wonderful job and got me in and out. $8 I feel is an excellent price and I really like the rewards program others have commented about on Yelp as well (50% off after 4 sessions and the 8th session is free) Also they have a very sophisticated check-out system if you are using credit card. You can place your tip on their and have the receipt emailed or text to you if you like. read more

I drive past this place everyday and decided to stop in because my brows were now a furry carpet and my usual spot is no longer in my normal commute. There was a client in her chair and another ahead of me but the wait wasn't long. This seems to be a hair salon too not just a spot for brow threading. I was a little nervous because I like my brows full and most new ppl take off so much and make them thin despite my instructions but I told her just a clean up I like them thick and she did exactly that. I asked her to go back in for my right brow just once to take a little more off so my arch was the way I like it (because my brows practically grew into blocks) and they looked great. She offered a little brow powder free of charge but I like to tint my own brows. I may take her up on that offer next time because I will be back for sure. read more

I went to this place today for a Henna tatoo and it was the WORST Henna I have ever had. The design looked nothing like what was in the book and the lady tried to tell me "oh it's just a picture from a book". I said I get that, but it should resemble the picture somewhat; otherwise why did she ask me to choose a design. She had wet henna all over my hand and in return transferred it to my hand which left blotchy ink spots all over me. I will NEVER go to this place again. I usually come here to get my under arms waxed and I'm satisfied with that. I had also had my legs waxed here which was also cool. Here where everything went wrong! Now while next Door in Dunkin donuts I get a coupon for Brazilian wax and Underarm wax for $30 the last I usually go to was booked so I figured I'll give them a try. The Brazilian wax was the worse I have Ever had! They used the honey was for the entire vagina area it felt as if they were ripping my skin off at some points. I sms big girl and I always get waxed and I don't grow much hair in my private area. The woman said she couldn't get the hair in the clitoris area which means I still had hair and she didn't get all the residue from the wax so I went home and soaks to get it off and I still felt sticking until I exfoliated. I have never been so disappointed and furious! I went in for a touch up of my eyebrows! A touch up. I mentioned upfront this was my first time here and I do not like my eyebrows thin. After the first eyebrow everything looked good. Then she started on my second eyebrow and stopped then said "look you have gaps in your eyebrow maybe from your last shop" I looked at her confused and she showed me. I have let my eyebrows grow out the past 4 months and the normal place I usually go to is up north so I decided to try this place out. However, the gaps were not there before. I let her continue thinking she would fix it. Instead she says she's done and to look. My eyes brows were completely uneven, she made the second one extremely skinny with a large arch. I instantly complained and showed her looking in the mirror and straight at me how they were uneven and she made one really skinny. She said "it's because of the gaps" I said no there is no gaps you went too small and now they are uneven and look ridiculous. She called another lady over who said "ok I will take a little off the first side to make them the same" at this point I'm irritated but what else can I do I need them to at least look the same. So she threads it and I look and they are still uneven with one arch higher than the other side and now both really skinny. She says "ok looks better" and walks back to her customer. There is only 2 customers in the store, me and hers. I go to leave still upset and saying I'm not happy because they look worse than I came in and instead of offering a discount, to not pay, to fix it, to come back and fix it in a few weeks.... they say "it'll be $8". Nope. Not at all. This has to be the worst shop for eyebrow threading. My eyebrows are literally uneven. My husband didn't even like them. It's definitely an amateur place. I chose to go here because my other shop is out south, it's Saturday and I definitely didn't feel like going all the way there. Not today. I decided since we're over here most of the time, let me try to find something new, so I wouldn't have to travel everywhere just to get my eyebrows done. There was no one in there when I came in. I decided to go ahead and try it. She starts and spends about 5 mins on my eyebrows. Then hands me a mirror. My eyebrows look uneven, they don't even look like I got them done. They look just as bad as they did before I went in. I should've took the sign of no one being in there, as a sign. There's never anyone in there when I go past it. This is probably y.
