Customer service here is amazing. Ice reached out to me personally and I am VERY pleased with my experience. We were able to make a new appointment and she fixed my nails personally herself. She is truly amazing. We were able to soak off my previous nails and apply a fresh full set. Had a horrible experience. The lady that worked on my nails was rushing ( trying to take more clients in before she was even done with my nails). I made an appointment 4pm.. so I was not a walk-in. My paint was not even and had bubble on some of my nails . She got upset that I pointed out . She had to redo 2 of my nails and still messed up. She ended up telling me that she can't do my nails .. maybe someone else can .. she took all my polish off . I'm not there trying to get a free service. I left $20 for another technician ( Helen) . I used to like this place it's convenient and my nails usually looked good and last. Today when I brought in my own nail decals the tech put four tiny stickers on my nails and decided to charge me $10 more per owners instruction. I don't care about the $10 it was just the principal. I could have easily stuck the 4 decals on myself for nothing but she didn't tell me until after she did it. I bring in my own nail colors all the time and don't expect a discount because they are doing the work but $10 for the 5 seconds to add a decal is ridiculous. They lost a customer today! read more

I used to enjoy coming here on Sundays because most nail salons aren't open on Sundays. They have those massage chairs for pedicures. Lately, I feel discriminated against. I was turned away because I wanted a no chip removal not a full service. Another time, I brought my girl with me (Black woman), who speaks Korean and she said they were complaining about how we were trying to tip them on our cards. (They have a sign that states they prefer a cash tip-- but if you don't have it, you don't have it.) But what really offends me now is that they ask for cash only for fake nails. I don't wear fake nails personally but I am a Black woman! I know they intend this for their Black clients who do get the fake nails. When I comforted my nail servicer about it, she conveniently said she didn't know. I wish my friend was with me when I asked. I have to find another spot for those days when I am in a pitch causes this feeling of disrespect is just too much. And anyone non-Black, they coat the nail too thick. read more

Waited 19 days to do this review BECAUSEEE... I wanted to see how long my no chip would last. LOVE LOVE LOVE I forgot what brand the polish was (I think it was CND?) but it was definitely not OPI. Over the last two weeks I've been working at a restaurant, dental office, cleaning, and playing a lot of volleyball. The polish still has not chipped! I love how the polish was applied (all the way down to the cuticle and no polish missing on the sides of the nail). I've been here a couple of times and always bring friends with me! Make sure you make an appointment before hand, they tend to always be busy no matter what time it is. Well came back 2 years later and it's worse than before. Called at 5:15 and asked for a 6pm, was told it was fine, only to be called back and asked to come at 5:30 or 5:45. Got there at 5:45 and what do you know, waited until 6:25 to be taken. Stop overbooking yourselves or taking walk-ins or telling people to come at a certain time when you know you cannot take them. When I was waiting a mother came in with her daughter and they were told they were full. Nail tech changed her mind after talking to them and told her to come back at 6:45 because she had a 6:30. I was in her chair at 6:25, which means she's not seeing her until at least 7:30! She then proceeded to rush tf out of my nails, nicking me with the tool and cutting me several times. When it comes to their pedicures, you aren't getting anything special. Why even waste the scrub if you're only going to use it for less than 30 seconds per leg. She asked me how many minutes of a massage I wanted to charge me extra. Like giving a massage on my legs and feet shouldn't be included in the $28 you charge for the pedi. SMH read more

My nails are AMAZING! I was nervous about this location because it desolate and you have to pay for street parking. As someone who's always looking for a great nail salon (I'm a loyal customer if I'm satisfied). I called the same day and they scheduled me immediately and fit me right in. The price was RIGHT too, which surprised me because most nail shops close to down town always over charge because of location and they services aren't that great. I paid 45 for a full gel set with no chip polish, with a $35 fill in. The only thing about this place is that everything is an add on. I will be going back very soon for pedicure and fill in. They also have chair massages $1 per minute so I'm adding 15 minutes next time. Since I got there super close to closing time I didn't have time to take pictures. read more

They dust it off with a fluffy brush to save time. Appreciate the quick service but would rather spend the extra 5 minutes on hygiene. I wanted my eyebrows waxed. NOT MY SKIN! Ive been going to this nail salon for about half a year ever since I moved into the neighborhood. They do a pretty decent job on your nails but they have horrible customer service. They speak in their own language the whole time and you can't help but feel uncomfortable. I'm positive many customers feel the same way. I felt the harsh pain and realized in my car that not only did they wax my eyes but they peeled a bit of my forehead!!! I wanted to hear a heartfelt apology when I drove back but all they did was speak in their own language the whole time instead of accommodating to my concerns. It's not about the ten dollars I spent. It's about how they'll deal with the situation after expressing my disappointment. But I left feeling even more disappointed and furious. Like heck naw. You have to own up to your mistakes and just apologize to become a better business. People make mistakes. I understand. But if y'all just gon give me the stank eye the whole time, that ain't cool. This is my go to place to get my nails done. The male manager, is very friendly and accommodating. There's also a younger girl who sits right by the door and nail polish who is very good as well. They have a really good selection of different regular nail polishes, chrome and no chip. The salon is very clean, has water to drink and a few TVs. The chairs are comfortable. Bliss is BEST I've been going to Bliss since I moved to Chicago. Ice manages the phones and is both a top rate nail tech and an amazing schedule-maker. I make sure to call before any and all appointments although they do accept walk-ins. Summer is my go-to girl and after my first No Chip manicure yesterday I'm blown away! The colors dry instantaneously and I was good to go the second they put on the fourth layer!!! For a multicolor moment it's $35 but a standard No Chip manicure is only $30. I recently moved to the area and desperately needed a fill. Two of my nails were missing and the others had at least five weeks of outgrowth. Ratchet. I made an appointment based on how close it was to my place and they're open on Sundays. I then found myself in a review rabbit hole and kind of psyched myself out, but I made the appointment already and I NEEDED it. The interior needs an update and it seemed a little disorganized. I sat down with Helen for a no chip fill and she got right down to business. No small talk, which I appreciate. She went based off my previous shape (coffin) and asked if I'd like them cut down (definitely). This was the fastest fill I've ever had, 30 minutes. **30 MINUTES.** Wizardry. The outcome: I am no longer a hot mess, despite the color I chose being absolutely dreadful outside of the bottle. But that's my bad. Why is it nail salons are the only profession where customer service is completely non-existent? I went in the Monday of Thanksgiving week. The woman doing my nails began rushing thru my set once more clients began to walk in. She wouldn't even let the polish cure 1 complete light cycle before making me pull my hand out...so of course 2 days later polish began to chip. I had to drive back over to that side of town, the day before Thanksgiving in rush hour so they could re do my nails. This time another tech was fixing my set and she too wanted me to pull my hand out before the light cycle was complete. While I sat there waiting for my polish to cure I over heard another client telling her tech that one of her nails was crooked. The tech just told her it didn't matter no one would notice. The clients friend also just told her, "yea don't worry, no one can tell" NOT THE POINT! We're not out here spending $20 on a full set, we're spending $50+ we deserve good quality! I will NEVER return to this establishment and hopefully anyone considering visiting will read my review and know not to! Side note my original set came to 45, I wanted to pay card which I've done before but was told I could not that day. So I handed over a $50 bill and the tech didn't bother giving me change and just assumed the $5 was hers to keep. My sister and I were walk ins and were able to be served quickly. The biggest issue was with my little sister who asked for pink nail polish and the polish went on clear when applied. I noticed that my sister was very upset and went over to check on her. I asked the nail tech why was it so clear and she stated that it was the color my sister chose and refused to put on another coat or let us get a thicker color. She told us to talk to the manger and up and left. No sorry what so ever . The manger was kind enough and offered to do my sister's nails but we were quite done. Came in on Friday after work around 5pm and thankfully there was no wait. Place was clean and they took their time. They always checked on me too make sure I was ok. I also got my eyebrows done. I was looking for a nail salon to quickly visit this past Labor Day holiday. I visited this place for the first time for a quick fill in and no chip... 3 days later the polish peels from one of my nails. I called in to request a repair and they advised me to come in to have it fixed. I arrived and mentioned our conversation thinking that the main woman I'd been speaking with would try to quickly take care of me. Afterall, I should not be visiting this place 3 days later after getting a NO CHIP!!! Surprisingly, the lady tells me to take a seat and the wait would be one hour!!! I immediately expressed how i shouldn't even back and mostly certainly shouldn't have to wait an hour. This woman was very dismissive and made no eye contact with me as I stood there in disbelief... I left and I will never return. Shame on me for spending a dime here in the first place. This place smells horrible. Smells as if there is a bad piping/plumbing issue. In addition to that, on Monday I watched the same lady take on so many walk in clients and gave ppl all different times of how long the wait would be all of which ppl waited well beyond. Even clients who has appointments were waiting and well over an hour. Why was I there so long you ask??? Because the same lady that did my nails sneakingly did others nails in between buffing, sending me to wash my hands, and polishing my nails. I don't suggest getting serviced here. Being a guy that typically isn't into this kind of stuff, I don't have a good scale for nail shops, but when my girlfriend offered to take me for a celebration I figured why not? Got a mani-pedi and I have to say it was nice to be pampered. I enjoyed the foot rub, water massager, back massager, and doing my nails with nail polish. I accidentally messed up my finger nails for not letting them dry enough, and they redid that finger for free. There can be a bit of a language barrier but not enough to stop me from enjoying it.
