I don't know why this place has 4 stars, they don't know how to do good nails. Went in for the powder dipped polish, bad experience, but I can't say the worst. The non-Asian male, who by the way smells like he needs a diaper changed, came from Bliss (horrible place) as they are affiliates started off good, at least I thought. He filed my real nails too deep, then he put 4-5 layers of polish on my nails, that isn't necessary, he could have stopped at two but since it was my first time I didn't know. Walked in only one lady was here doing nails, and she was moving like molasses, first red flag. My nails all have a different shape- square, oval, etc. They ran out of product in the middle of doing my nails then them cheap bastards just scrapped the bottle- throw that mess away. Then the filing is ridiculous, I didn't know the motive was to leave with no cuticles. Right hand looks better than the left. But after 2 hours of that garbage I should have two perfect hands! Only good thing about today's experience was the color. Also, is anyone aware, was it necessary to use an LED light for dipped nails? It already seemed set to me.

    Same day pedicure!!

I went to this place couple months ago, this place was to be my main place to have my nails done, apparently after the pandemic ownership was switched over to someone else and I could tell today!! I usually have pedicure done only once a year and at summer time... well this year was a waste ‍ a wasteeeee. I think my 6 year old could have done a better job. Sorry but not going back

They definitely take their time to do your nails!! Loved my manicure!!! This place will definitely be my #1!!!!

Good work, reasonable prices. I got a manicure on my lunch break. It took 30 minutes and came out beautiful. Since it's their grand opening, it was only $10, but normal price is $12. Pedicure is $20 (ANAZING!) and no chip is $30 (also amazing!). I can't wait to stop in after work one day for a no chip and pedi.

    Awesome!!!

Awesome !! No wait time and appts work well . Also , prices are good and they do a great job! Will go ever two weeks

Attention ladies who are looking for your "go to salon!" Your wait is over. While this is a brand spanking new salon, you would be well-advised to know this is the sister salon of the hopping Bliss Nails Salon on 33rd/Halsted, where I immediately became a loyal customer to Ice over a year ago, and I can't imagine getting my nails done by anyone else (I strayed once and learned my lesson). It's no wonder they've gone on to open a second salon. The owners are in the business of happy clients--that is the end goal. To top it off, this is in a great strip mall location with a parking lot. I am only reluctant to post this because I know my Ice will inevitably have a full book again before I know it, but she deserves it being that she's damn good at everything she does. I have no doubt this location will be just as successful, if not more so, than Bliss Nails. Ladies. If you value your nails and great service, you'll inevitably find yourself here again and again. You'll thank me later. Just please don't take my appointment slot. And, don't forget to pay it forward. ;-)

My once bright white nails turned to brown.

I can't get a regular pedicure because I am doing chemotherapy and I'm immunocompromised. I came in…read moreand the only thing they did that was kind as well as correct was just offer me a polish change. I wanted French but they said they couldn't do French unless the base was clear because they use nail polish remover to make the French design. That seems like inexperience to me. I've been to places where they do French over a pink base with regular polish but this is not the spot for that. So we pivoted because I didn't want gel polish. I said I'd go to the car and get the regular color I had on my fingernails. The woman started putting clear polish on my toes so I couldn't put on shoes and go get it. Since I was in a rush we just decided on a pink dnd color with funny bunny on top to make it more white. The joke was on me trying to be in and out. I showed up at 2 and didn't leave until 3:30. It should not have taken an hour and a half for a polish change. The original woman made the funny bunny coat on top too thick and lumpy. So I asked her if she could remove it and I could redo it. I repainted my big toe correctly and then another nail tech came and touched my toenail to see if it was dry and ended up smudging the polish. We had to take it off again. The nail tech that had messed up my nail repainted it but did the same mistake as the first tech. The polish is old and lumpy and unless you put it on thinly, it is going to be lumpy on the toe. So she removed it and said a other tech would try to paint it. When that nail tech finally did come over 20 minutes later, she was able to fix the issue because she found a bottle of funny bunny that wasn't dried out. But most importantly, she listened to what I had been saying from the start. My original nail tech never came back out. And I'm annoyed that I had done it correctly and then they messed it up. I would avoid this place unless you're getting gel. Even the last nail tech said it would have turned out better if I had gotten gel. They seem not to be able to do the basic regular polish well. Just do your own nails at home if you want regular polish. I know I will be. There was also a man on FaceTime on speakerphone in the shop and we were forced to hear his conversation for the entirety of his pedicure. They did not ask him to get off of speaker. It was really annoying and not a relaxing environment.

The lady on the phone said they won't be able to see us until 5pm (at that time it was 3:30). I asked if they had any sooner slots since it was raining and windy today and we were already in the parking garage at the time and they said no. I told them I would call my friend and ask if it was okay first and they said okay. About 2 mins later I called them back and they never picked up the phone twice. I thought they were probably busy so I decided to walk in through the garage entrance since I wanted to make sure to secure the 5pm slots for today. When I walked in I was greeted by a friendly lady who asked me to come in. I told her that I called earlier and just wanted to make sure I secured the appointment for 5pm today. I don't think she understood what I said and told me to take a seat to look at the service menu. It was a bit strange that they were so willing to have me sit down to serve us right away considering the fact that they told us on the phone that we would have to be seen at 5pm. The salon was practically empty with only one other customer in there getting their nails done. Anyways, service went on just fine after that! The nail salon was adorable and girly and the staff were sure to be very transparent with the prices. They did my nails very efficiently and I was very happy with my nails. I think the only downside to this place was the language barrier. It was very easy to misunderstand what we wanted. For example, my friend wanted to pay for her service only and the lady misunderstood and charged my friend for hers and my service which was rather inconvenient since I planned to pay cash and now had to Zelle my tip. Other than that, I loved my nails and atmosphere and I would come here again.
