Great service, John is an amazing nail artist!! He joked with me and my fiance about how long my nails would be. Did a ton of cute designs on the nails and worked very fast and made no mistakes. I keep looking at my nails and they're so beautiful! He does use a tool though to file off the top layer of the nail to have the fake one adhere better. Stopped in today before leaving for the holiday. No appointment but we barely had a wait! Pedicures and manicures were done beautifully and with care. I've been here once before years ago but I'm glad I made the choice to come back. To add to it, they have two cute little dogs that just hang out on the shop. Found this gem after attempting to go to another salon nearby. John was absolutely amazing and you would have had no idea he was the only one working that morning. He started my full set and got me soaking for my pedicure while he finished and walk-in and helped another customer with a broken nail. He picked the perfect color for my nude nails and applied a sheer pink gel on my toes for the perfect French tip. I will be back every month! My daughter had a "back-to-school" event in the area and we had some time to kill after that. We decided to get our nails done and found this place, so this was our first time here. We walked into a spacious, pink and clean salon and were greeted by a woman named Sherrie(?) She was very nice and welcoming to my 12 year old daughter and I. There was no waiting, and we were attended right away. She told us to pick our colors, and had the water ready for our pedicure. We sat down in the pedicure section. Sherrie(?) did my daughter's pedicure and I had a different woman do my pedicure but I didn't catch her name. Although they were both nice and friendly, our pedicures were not the best. We didn't get our dead skin from our feet removed with the callus remover, we didn't get the our legs and feet lotioned up, and we didn't get a hot towel on our legs either. My toenails don't seem neatly filed and the polishing looks a bit sloppy. After our toes were done, my daughter got her manicure and I decided on a full set (acrylic). There was a bit of a problem with the polish my daughter picked out, I guess it wasn't going on as it should. Sherrie(?) removed the polish from her nails and tried again after adding thinner and shaking it. My full set was done by a man named John, I believe. He went and applied the tips, asked me how short I wanted them, and went to town. He didn't ask what shape I wanted, he just did "squared" nails. He started polishing very quickly, some nails look thicker than others and there's also little bubbles on some too. None of my nails look alike, it looks very sloppy and crooked. I'm very unhappy with my nails and I don't think I'll be coming back. The only reason I gave this place two stars is because Sherrie was such a sweetheart. The cost of getting our nails done was $80. EIGHTY DOLLARS. Unfortunately, they were not worth the price and I'm a little embarrassed to have my nails looking like this. read more

I am in town for a family funeral and needed to get my nails done. Since I don't have a regular place in the area, I went here because of all of the 4 & 5 star reviews last Thursday and at first I was glad I did. John was very friendly and very quick. However there are a few things that afterwards have me regretting going here. 1. Rather than soak my nails, he used a nail tip to peel off my existing dip manicure. My nails hurt for 2 days after. 2. Rather than "dip" my nails, he applied a thick layer of the dip with a brush. Just one and then filed and shaped. At first glance they were ok, but I felt rushed by him. When I got home I had to do my own shaping. 3. 5 days later two of my nails chipped on the edges and now they look uneven. I don't do any manual labor, not even dishes, so this shouldn't have happened. I can't wait til my nails grow out so I can get them done again at my regular salon. 4. The posted price for a dip manicure is $45 & up. I don't use tips, and there was no manicure involved here. I was charged $50. When I questioned it, I was told because he had to remove my old nails. Bottom line, this place was very disappointing and not worth the money I spent. I don't recommend it. read more

I got a pedicure from Sue today she did an amazing job my feet were awful and she made them look so good

Went here for mani pedis with my mother in law and sister in law. For the pedicure I sat in the chair soaking my feet in water so long it got cold. All they did was scrub feet for 1 minute and paint my nails and they charged $30. Then I waited for them to come back for us for over an hour and when they did my acrylics only took about 20 minutes and they charged me $50. So $80 total for mediocre work. If they would have given a discount for the waiting and not giving a full pedicure I would have given 4-5 stars because they were very friendly. I just don't think the price was very fair for what I received. read more

Do yourself a favor and save yourself from stepping foot in here. I needed to find a spa open early (9am) and this place fit the bill. I was greeted and given the standard "pick a color, and take a seat" which was a good sign to me. What began the downward hill of service was the cold tub, and waiting 15 mins to be helped. ( I should note it was only me and my friend in the spa) after the tech was done charging her phone, walking around the Spa and putting the dogs (yes dogs) on the chair next to me she finally began to start the pedicure. She removed the polish and the ~grazed~ lightly with the nail tools barely making any difference to my nails. When she grabbed a scrub brush out of what looked to be the cleaning supply box with bleach spray and other sponges I got worried for where this was headed. She grazed the questionable brush across my nails and then dunked it in the tub. She walked away and grabbed a foam block to prop my foot up. I began to think- 1. How does this get sanitized and 2. Maybe the elevation of my foot will give me a good scrub. While she's lightly scrubbing my heel with less pressure to the point where I could do this myself. The customer next to me, who walked in shortly after us asked her how she was feeling- alluding to the fact that she had been sick. - is it too late to say she wasn't wearing gloves? This was pretty much my last straw. I said to my friend that we just need to go. I'm not spending $30 on a pedicure that truly I could have done myself. Maybe I came in at a bad day or time, but the dogs, hygiene, and lack of actual work being done is not acceptable. I hope this review helps others. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Awful place. Horrible service. First off- there's no liners in the pedicure tubs. Red flag. second- there's no urgency or sense of customer service. Walked in at 0915 for 2 pedicures. Was told to pick a color and sit in the pedicure chairs. 0945- sitting in now cold water. The tech comes up with a very suspicious looking box of tools to provide the pedicure, including a scrub brush which looks like it has been used on multiple other clients, the toilet, the dishes and the grout. When we spoke up about being uncomfortable about the situation- we were met with a very rude and uncomfortable situation. Also- if you're allergic to dogs, they allow their dogs to sit in the pedicure chairs and roam the salon floor. And they have the audacity to charge $30 for a pedicure? Go to velvet nails on 103rd and central if you really want a top-notch experience. This is not it. read more

Worst service I have ever had in my lifetime! How does 1 technician work on 2 people at once. Not only did she neglect giving us a massage and hot towel (isn't that a part of what a pedicure is for?) But half a toe unpolished. Then for my friend no shiny clear coat. After nearly 2 hrs of "being worked on" the technician walks away to go take her break for food. I do not recommend this place for anyone , especially the guy " John" I came here with my daughter last week to get her nails done for her prom. John did her nails with dip powder which he charge us $55 for crappy job unprofessionally, he did not take his time, doing her nails since he had four other grills by his desk. I have been here twice for pedicures. The first was perfectly fine. Today at the end of the pedi the tech smacked the back of my calf and said I needed to work out. I sort of laughed and said I do and she dug in. Said I wasn't working hard enough because my leg shouldn't jiggle. She asked what kind of work out I do. I didn't answer. She said I need to walk on a treadmill and flex while walking. I paid for the pedicure, added zero tip, and left. I will not return. read more

Went here for a manicure and pedicure. Sue does a good job on the pedicure, but I would avoid the guy for the manicure. My cuticles and edges of my nails were not evenly trimmed, and it made for a less professional look. read more

I've tried this place a few times. I did not care for the pedicures I've gotten. I had m6 nails done today by John. He did a fill in for me a month ago and I liked it very much. So today I expected the same, not was I wrong! When I came in John was not there. One of the women, the owner I think had to go find him. When he finally comes in he tells me I should have a new set put on because mine are old. Ok, fine. Nails off, then John does not put new tips on, he tells me he can put the pink & White powder on w/ out using tips. Ok, again I go along with this. Nails are finished, they look ok. Then John tells me $55!!! I say for What? He tells me for taking off my nails, which he popped them off with a nail tip and for a new set of nails. So I say " I didn't get a "new set", these are my Nails! He still charged me $55!!! I've been getting my nails done for many many years and have never been swindled like that!!! They will NEVER get my business again. I am definitely reporting this place to the local business association. Should have known the kind of people they are when John had one of his customers bring him a 12 pack of beer the time before this. read more

I started going here around July since I just moved to town and needed a new nail salon. Everything was going great. Friendly staff, seemingly clean salon, etc. Last Monday I got my nails done and contracted a severe staph infection from this place by Wednesday. It didnt dawn on me until after the doctor that I've never once seen them sterilize a tool or station or anything. Also, they use cloth hand towels instead of paper towels to dry your hands which the doctor says is another way to easily contact and spread staph. They have dogs walking around the salon which is also extremely unprofessional and dangerous. I will be taking my business elsewhere from here on out. read more

I get my eyebrows waxed here all the time. I moved out here a couple of years ago and didn't like any of the salons I went too, and when I did like one I would go back and get mixed results. Every time I've gone here I am happy! Sue waxes my eyebrows and she she's always friendly. It is only $10. I haven't had time to get my nails done, but I am eager to. Very nice people and very quick service - but need more training. I got a pedicure which I can usually make last a month or more. My toes chipped within days. The polish itself started to breakdown after about 10 days or something - just looked lumpy and cracked. They didn't even file the nails. I'd love to give it another try but with so many other good places nearby it's not worth it. read more
