I'm a big dude 5"10 225 The beautiful Asian young lady asked me how I wanted the massage. My previous massage place was kinda weak lately. So I told her I wanted a deep tissue massage and let me tell you that she was amazing. She was unbelievably strong and professional. It was like no massage i have ever had. She worked me from head to toe. After the massage the jacuzzi was hot and ready. Next is the sauna until i was melting. Finished with a cold shower(my choice) . I felt like a million bucks. This was my first time coming here and I am so glad I did! The front lobby is quaint and I was greeted as soon as I entered. I got an hour-long tui na massage and my nails done as well. They do not do acrylic nails here which is fine with me since I wanted a regular mani and pedi. She asked if there were areas to concentrate on: shoulders, back, etc. I mentioned shoulders and lower back. Then, how much pressure I wanted for my massage: medium or deep and I went with medium. She also asked if I wanted slippers and a robe and I declined, but it's good to know that it is offered. She took my payment first, then took me to the room for my massage. I'm unsure if they have single rooms but I was in a couples room. I didn't think to take pictures of the room I was in and I wish I did. The lights were dimmed and it was a pretty room. My masseuse was Coco (hopefully I am spelling her name correctly) and she was awesome! She asked if she could walk on my back and at first, I wasn't sure, but I wanted the experience and said yes. Initially, the pressure hurt a bit, but it felt so good getting the knots out from my shoulders and lower back and much relief came when she cracked my back with her feet. Every so often she would ask if I was ok and asked if I wanted the hot stones, but I declined. I think next time I will add it to my massage package. Afterward, I went to get my nails done and was seated in the pedicure chair right away. I have never had my mani done at the same time as my pedi, but it was amazing to literally feel like I was waited on hand and foot, at the same time! Coco did my pedi and for my mani, her name is Ivy. Ivy was pleasant and when I mentioned this was my first time here, she was so appreciative and gave me such a warm welcome! Okay so I never leave bad reviews but the good ones lied to me. I shouldve known when they made me pay and tip for the service BEFORE I got the service lol. My sister and I came here and paid for the exact same pedicure and somehow I got a sugar scrub and she didnt.. they took off all my dead skin and not hers.. also why did we get like 3 different ladies to do ONE service? So weird. One did the shaping, one did the scrubbing.. and then I waited like 20 mins for someone to come do the polish.. the place was not busy btw (The associates were just walking around on their phones). There was one in the room just on the phone with her airpods in while I just sat and waited. Also.. when you first walk in it looks okay.. they have relaxing music and dimmed lights but when we walked into the pedicure room, everyone is talking loud to each other.. they are talking loud on their phones or texting and ignoring you.. they also had a weird movie on with violence, gore, and sex trafficking.. I don't know what the deal is but we will definitely NOT be coming back here. read more

Ivy and Rose were our therapists and they really made us feel remarkably better. Rose's deep tissue technique is unique and smooth, I feel more aligned & flexible.. Ivy has been one of our favorites for years and she continues to impress us, with her innovative skills and such a sweet person with a ton of positive energy. My wife and i wanted to take a nap afterwards but of course reality kicks in after the 2 hour journey.. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I called this spa at 7:40pm asking if they were still accepting clients for the night for a pedicure with a toe nail repair. They told me sure that was fine as long a I was there before 8:30. I arrived at about 8:03. When I walked in I requested a pedicure, which they seemed very hesitant to even give me. After about 5 mins of waiting at the front desk the receptionist told me the price of the service and requested that I pay for the service before I even received it. This made me uncomfortable, especially because there was a client paying after the completion of her service. However I really needed the pedicure, so before I paid the amount I asked the additional cost for the toe nail repair.Before I could even say or show how my nail was damage of the workers appeared from the back and told me not to pay the money they couldn't service me. I'd hate to say that race may have been a factor but I am a biracial black women , so to your discretion. read more

I ultimately love this place I've tried other places and this place is just top to me prices are reasonable I've been here 5 times already it's my go to and all the girls are nice it's a little far for me but it's worth it, also if u communicate with them which some reviews are bad are because the people writing them they don't know how to communicate and say what they want. Never never again. I knew this Groupon was too good to be true....... First off, their hours say they open at 9:30am, but they don't take any appointments until 10am so I made my appointment at 10. I arrived 5 minutes early, no one was there and the door was still locked. 10 o'clock comes around and the door is still locked and still no one inside. So I called the number to the salon and it was forwarded to one of the employees cell phones and she told me that they're open (obviously they aren't) but they are stuck in traffic and they would be another 15 - 20 minutes... So I waited, just as 20 minutes came and I was about to pull away all the employees showed up. I was rushed in because at that point 25 minutes later I'm becoming a late for other appointments. There was a huge language barrier between the nail person and myself and made it extremely hard to enjoy anything or relax. She dug into my nails and massaged my feet so hard that there is a BRUISE that was left on the top of my foot, I told her that it hurt but she just kept doing it.... I got the manicure and pedicure, I chose the French manicure and after everything and them being 25 minutes late for my appointment they still charged me $5 extra for the manicure which was pretty frustrating after all the inconvenience. They do not sterilize their tools properly and they use the same exact nail file customer after customer. It may look nice and clean up front but once they start the manicure and pedicure there sterilization and cleanliness with their tools is definitely not on the top of their priority list. Everything was fine as I left the salon but within two hours my manicure turned brown and started to chip. I was off to a wedding so I didn't have time to go all the way back for them to fix it... even though I bought a Groupon for this experience I still expected something way better then what I received. Just left here for a couples massage. They got all the tense places on my body and more. Very relaxing and I almost went to sleep. It's a little far out for us but we will definitely make a drive out to get some more of the foot walking and knee sticking massage pleasure. Please understand this isn't the place where you get plush robes and slippers. They have robes and flip flops but they aren't like the four seasons spa. Everyone was friendly and we were able to get in their hot tub for two. They allow you to BYOB so we had wine. The hot stone massage really made a difference...a great touch! Only thing I didn't like was the robe material and smell... just a little old used but overall it's was bomb. read more

This has been my go to spot for several years now although it is about 30 miles from my home. I cannot say enough about Jessica, let me just say she is amazing. She truly listens to her clients. My wife and I went as recently as a couple of weeks ago and got a 90 minute massage. My wife's therapist (Orange) and my therapist (Selina) really delivered for us. They addressed all of our problem areas and made us feel like a million bucks!! I tell you we did not want it to end. The staff is so professional and they are constantly evolving with their techniques. Sometimes after our massages, our only regret is that we have to get off the table and drive home (LOL). We are massage junkies and have gotten every massage out there, so we know quality & experience when we receive it. Please show your appreciation with your loyalty and a nice tip if you can. I went in for my first wax at this place. It was very uncomfortable. The lady who waxed me kept on answering phone calls and attending the front desk all while waxing me! It was very unprofessional of her to do that. I felt like my money spent here was not appreciated. She was very aggressive with sensitive areas and seemed to want to finish quickly. She was in such a rush which made me even more nervous! I'm considering not going back here! Way too rough and inconsiderate. I know waxing is not supposed to be comfortable but it is made worse with such aggressiveness and wanting to finish fast! read more

Place was clean and very friendly. There were some things the business could not control (business next door was doing construction, and the entire time during the massage, all I heard was drilling and hammering). One thing that seemed odd is the door of the massage room kept opening and anyone walking by could see inside the room. Rating the massage, everything was great! They focused on each part of the body equally and hit all the right spots. There was just some miscommunication in the beginning. I thought my masseuse asked me "do you want me to work on your back?" and obviously thats what I thought I was there for, so I answered yes. However, she really asked me "do you want me to walk on your back?".. Next thing I knew, I had her walking on my back, which was pretty crazy lol! First time here. Bought a couples massage off of Groupon which seemed like a great deal! The massage was a bit more intensive than either of us were expecting but that doesn't mean it was bad! On the contrary the full body massage was great! I got no warning for the hot rocks but still felt nice. When being transported to the sauna, we got led to the hot tub bath. We were confused but ultimately would rather that than the sauna. They didn't give us any time warning so we wandered out on our own. Overall a great experience. The only reason I dock it a star is the language barrier made things confusing. Through broken English, it was hard to follow directions, which is why we were confused about the Sauna/hot tub thing. We didn't know if we were supposed to both, or just one so we just went with it. Despite that, the massages were fantastic and I would definitely recommend it! read more

First off I walked in with no appointment. I asked for a 90 minute massage on a very busy day. The lady at the front said we are all booked sir, I'm sorry you will have to make a appointment. I stated I am here in town for only a few more hours as I am headed to Houston shortly. I heard from a colleague here in Chicago this is the place to go for exceptional service. She stated anyway i understand I'll take care of you. I believe she said Jessica was her name, and that she was the manager there. I immediately explained on occasion I have lower lumbar pains from bad body posture and traveling a lot on airplanes does not help. She just giggled and did relax sir. I'll take care of you. By the end of my 90 mins I felt like a new man and felt so rejuvenated. I had a lot more movement all around as far as my body mechanics were concerned. Anyways I spend endless money on disappointing massages with either not enough pressure or robot like routines where everything seems rushed or done poorly. She stated all the girls here are trained properly and will listen to you're needs as far as what you want. I thanked her kindly and expressed I felt like the tip I gave her was mot enough $40. Let me just start by saying if I could give yesterday's experience a zero I would. I'm not sure what happened to this place but I've been here multiple times and I've never had this terrible experience. First, i paid for the "Queen Package", they take me to the back to choose my nail colors and when I'm looking at no chips she tells me oh we are out of those just look at the wall what we have left. So, I do. They sit me at the pedicure chair and someone starts my feet. Very painful I may add, not gentle in areas that would make me bleed at all. The front desk lady was running around frantically with her phone between her pants and underwear checking it often. I think someone failed to tell them there's a pandemic going on. As I'm getting my pedicure she the front desk lady starts my "no chip" manicure. Whatever she put on my fingers smelled like vinegar and old dirty socks. Obviously they stretch out their product and my fingers began to burn. Nonetheless, less then 24 hours later my no chip is chipped and I called for a refund. The nail area is treated as a lunch break room for employees and they're all yelling in mandarin with zero relaxation feeling. Then, a third woman appears as I'm already receiving my pedi and mani and starts my eyebrow wax. I clearly tell her just a clean up and she made my eyebrows so thin and hideous. Next, I go for my massage. They are taking way too many people at the same time and running around and not able to keep up with the demand. The massage was so uncomfortable. Every room around me I could hear other people getting massages 6 different cell phone Apple Music playing . Yelling in the hallways. I wasn't given time to undress appropriately and the lady just walked right in didn't say a word and moved my towel straight down. The massage was good but the environment was awful. Unsanitary. Nobody can speak English and understand what you're asking. Old product and terrible service. This place has gone down the drain. Never again! read more

My fiancé and I LOVED our visit to Spa Kastle and plan on making it a monthly date. The service was great. Our massage therapists were SO TALENTED!
