Heard great things and in badly need of a massage, I called and easily booked a 90 minute massage. On the day of, I only waited about 5 minutes to be called back. The location is so modern with a sophisticated ambiance. Nice and clean as well. They offer a shower after the massage (if you'd like) which I think is nice. Dennis performed my massage and it was amazing. He worked all the kinks/tension out of my neck and back. And his stretches are AMAZING!!! I'm thinking of making an appointment for just that! I called to make reservations today at 11a.m for Friday for three people. I was told my reservation was booked and I needed to call back before end of day to give my redemption code for Groupon. I informed her only one or two of us would be using a Groupon. Once purchased, I called back to give the number and the receptionist could not even find our reservation and were now completely booked and could not accommodate us! This is horrible customer service ESPECIALLY when asking for a number to redeem my Groupon before services! read more

This place is an absolute nightmare to make an appointment with. I called 3 times to make an appointment, and the receptionist kept putting me on long holds. The next day when I spoke to someone and voiced my concern I was told it gets very busy. Well wouldn't that be something you staff accordingly for? If you know you're busier at certain days and times then you should make sure you have a plan in place to make sure your customer service is acceptable. I received a gift certificate to this place and I wish I could just give it back and tell the person to have their money refunded because it's not worth the headache to try to get a massage that's supposed to relax you. Amazing massage by Irena! She gave me a deep tissue full body massage and didn't forget the feet or hands! She was perfectly deep in the right areas and gentle on an area I requested to be softer. It was like I melted into her hands. After the table massage she set me up with a robe, sandals, and towels and turned on the steam ahead of time for the steam shower. Evita has been a GODSEND since my very first appointment with her! I'm a runner and was experiencing severe hamstring pain after a speed/sprint training workout! I could barely walk when I went in. Her hands are PURE MAGIC! She also provided me with some post massage tips to maintain good tissue health. It's very evident that she loves what she does and loves helping other people. I'm training for a marathon. I've returned to Evita bi-weekly for maintenance to keep this body from breaking down any further. Praying these legs are strong enough to get me to Berlin. Overall, I think this is an extremely unprofessional salon. I was lured into the specials ($29.99 for mani and pedi, $79.99 for 90 min massage). The massage therapists are pretty friendly, however, I wasn't too pleased with the massages; when I said hard pressure, it felt like I was being shoved me down on the table instead of having the pressure go deeper into my muscles. I guess after 90 mins though, hands can get tired. I decided to give it another try for a second massage, but same thing. When I went to take the "steam shower" it's kind of strange there's a plastic chair in the shower and the therapist didn't put the steam on for me...it took nearly 10-15 mins just to wait for the steam to come on. So the massages were ok, but I wouldn't go back for them. The worst was the nail technician, Renata. She is extremely opinionated, rude, and unfriendly. I don't think I can even remember how many rude comments she made when I got my mani and pedi. She commented that I wasted my time by commuting to Chicago, horrified that I don't get my legs waxed weekly, horrified I don't get manis and pedis weekly, and horrified that I don't exfoliate weekly. She gave me lectures also on using cuticle oil multiple times per day. When I told her that I couldn't afford all these things weekly, she just shook her head at me. It was an awful experience. It's also strange that they ask for your money right away before the service begins. read more

I'm taking away one star because the front desk was extremely busy when I arrived and I felt rushed at check-in. Recently returned to heavenly after finding out my favorite masseuse Stephanie is back. I suffered a severe back injury, and from time to time I suffer muscle spasms. Stephanie is a great masseuse and I always have positive results after a session in the reduction of pain as well as spasms. I was given a Gift certificate to have a facial and massage . I booked the facial first, it was interesting I had Olga she is extremely confident and can come off very strong with her opinions. I decided to visit this location after seeing their company on Groupon. I read the reviews first on yelp and visited the website before purchasing a massage. Their actual website has January specials, so it turned out to be cheaper to get the 80 min deep tissue massage for $60. It's appointment only and after reading about Heidi, I requested an appointment with her. The receptionist called me the day before to confirm my appointment and then the day of about 15 mins before the appointment started. Heidi was amazing and super informative. She offered me pointers and suggestions on how soon I should return/ the importance of consistency. She was overall super sweet. She checked in to insure she wasn't too rough or causing discomfort. Can you ever go wrong with a massage? Apparently the answer is yes. Yes, you can. I've had many massages over the years and I must say that this was the worst massage I've ever had. I received a gift card which is how I ended up here. We had problems finding the "spa" so I called with hopes of getting some cross streets or landmarks since google maps had failed me. I had to call twice before someone answered the phone and was immediately placed on hold. My hold time was was long and quite irritating as this was the second call. Long story short we arrived 15 minutes late so I was just grateful they could still take me. Once we arrived the front desk personnel was on the phone and we had to wait for her to end the call and then wait around to fill out paperwork. Once we filled out paperwork the first line of business was payment. I'm not sure why this couldn't be taken at the end of the service (especially since we are ready late) but okay. My form of payment was gift certificate. My gift certificate was for a 70 minutes deep tissue massage. At this point the front desk informs me that although my certificate was for 70 minutes they booked me for 60 minutes so I would not receive the additional ten minutes of service. Now, I should note that when I called to book I specifically told them I had a 70 minute massage and even provided the voucher code that should have also stated 70 minute massage. At this point my thought is whatever lady, I have no time to argue. Let's just get me into the room. Once in the room it was not what I expected. There was no aromatic scent, no music, nothing but me, a table and this room. I'm still keeping hope alive at this point. The masseuse enters and explains that she will massage my back and legs. I'm so confused now, but okay ma'am. In essence I had a back rub with sharp pressure applied to my upper back that has somehow left my shoulders sore to the touch. She also likes my legs but I did not feel relaxed or in any way satisfied with the service received. The worst part of this story is that I have another gift card to this place from a different friend. Maybe I will try another location but I can say without a doubt this was THE worst spa experience I've ever had. read more
