DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE- their hands are very strong, so expect your muscles to get worked! I found this place on a Sunday after a very difficult week. I called around to many places but everywhere was booked up. I ran across this secret in Orland mall. This isn't a day spa- it's a massage place. Very simple. You tell them whether you want a table, chair, or foot massage. Then you tell them the length of time you're looking for. Done. I opted for 30 min chair massage and 30 min foot massage. The chair massage was great- every knot I had was worked out. They use their elbows- it was awesome. I might be 105lbs, but I'm tough, and I enjoy the pain of getting my knots worked out. My foot massage was so heavenly I fell asleep. Hopefully I didn't snore or anything. It was pure bliss. I will be back and can't wait to return. The lady that helped me was really nice. You should have seen how concentrated she was while rubbing my feet. She really cared- it was super sweet. Now for tipping- it's customary and common sense. I had a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience at The Relax Place in Orland Mall about a week ago. From the moment we walked in, communication was difficult. The staff struggled to understand basic requests, which made the overall experience confusing and unwelcoming, especially in a busy mall setting where clear communication should be expected. My friend and I came in for chair massages. She requested 20 minutes and I requested 30 minutes. I was assigned a male masseuse, and from the start, the pressure was extremely rough and not aligned with what I asked for. I specifically wanted focus on my back and lower back, but he mostly worked aggressively on my shoulders and neck. It quickly became uncomfortable. My arms kept slipping off the armrest due to the pressure, and instead of adjusting appropriately, he would forcefully reposition them. After about 10 minutes, I told him directly that he was being too rough. When I tried to sit up to stop the session, he attempted to push me back down, which made me even more uncomfortable. Eventually, he adjusted and became gentler, repeatedly asking if I was okay. However, the massage ended after about 20 minutes, 10 minutes short of what I requested. When I went to pay, I explained that I would not be paying the full $40 for a 30-minute massage since the session was cut short. I paid $30 instead. At that point, the situation escalated. The masseuse began yelling loudly, saying "no" repeatedly, slamming his hands on the table, and acting aggressively as if I wasn't allowed to leave. Other staff members intervened and sent him to the back, but no one apologized, acknowledged the situation, or addressed my concerns. The lack of professionalism and accountability was just as upsetting as the massage itself. Overall, this was not a relaxing experience--in fact, it was the opposite. Between the poor communication, overly aggressive technique, and unacceptable behavior afterward, I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe or calming environment. read more

I wasn't sure I should bother making a review, but it's been on my mind so I figured I better put it out there. my best friend and myself have been coming here for years. always a good spot to just walk in and get a little TLC in the middle of the week. we've had nothing but great experiences up until this point, but I won't be going back. I like to get a combo. (30min. on table. 30min. foot) we did the table first, and one of the women set me up. I was lying on my face, so I didn't notice that a gentleman had stepped in her place. totally fine; I've had the men massage me plenty of times here. take into consideration this is a fully clothed facility, and you do not need to undress at any time; there is always a sheet over you as well. at one point in the massage I am facedown with my arms at my side and palms facing up. the man leaned over to get to my right shoulder, and at the same time I say to myself, "there is no way this mans little beans are resting in the palm of my hand right now." they absolutely were, but I kept my mouth shut thinking it was an innocent mistake. (this is the first problem, ladies & gents). it's normal for the person massaging you to do your thighs, booty, etc. however, this guy was having way too much fun and grabbing way more than necessary. I'm annoyed at this point. I'm thinking we're just about at the end of the 30 minutes, when this man lubes up his hands with lotion, and goes straight down the back of my pants to massage my butt and down my thighs. like I said; never once have I had the sheet pulled away and had my bare skin out. this was absolutely on purpose and meant to be inappropriate. I froze and immediately shut down. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. should I have stood up and said something? absolutely. did I sit there for 30 minutes in silence while this man rubbed my feet afterwards? yes I did. sometimes in the moment we don't know what to do or how to react, and that's what I did. I am just putting this out there in hopes that it doesn't happen to someone else, and if it does you're allowed to stand up and say something. I've been coming here for a long time supporting this business. They do a good job with massages. I always try to tip well. I recently got a massage. When I went to pay, I realized I did not have my second wallet because I switched purses. I paid in cash and only had a few bucks left. Since I'm a regular, I said I would bring back more money for a bigger tip. The man gave me the money back - and I put it in the tip jar. He chased after me into a department store. I was so shocked. He handed me back the few dollars I put in the jar - a way of showing he was not satisfied with my tip. Again, I'm a regular and have spent a lot of money at this massage business these past few years. It was absolutely inappropriate for this man to chase after me. Needless to say, I won't be going back. They lost a long term customer. As a consumer, I'm worn out on all the tips that are expected today. It used to be - tip your waitress for waiting on you - knowing they relied on tips for salary. Again, I'm a good tipper. It seems like business owners are taking advantage of this. They pay low wages to increase their profit - while expecting customers to make up for this. It's too much. Workers can't have the expectation that all people tip them - let alone expect a specific amount. A tip is optional not mandatory. One should be grateful for whatever tip they get. To chase after a customer because they didn't tip enough is unacceptable. read more

This place great. I have been going here for years because the prices are affordable, the facility is clean, and the employees are so helpful and polite. They are very attentive to pregnant women, too. The chair massages can be noisy, but the tables in the back help you forget you are in a mall. The foot massages are spot-on every time. I recommend 40 minutes table and 30 minutes feet. And as for the first reviewer, ignore him. His evaluation is an inaccurate way to assess the actual services. read more
