Dont go here - had my acrylics taken off (they actually just ripped them off). LuLu actually ripped them so hard that I ended up getting an infection under my nail. The reviews are true but I tried here anyway. The technician LuLu has a harsh way about her. She was very rough with my nails. Several times I told her she was hurting me. I got the pink and whites for $55 and they were very thick. She did file them thinner after I complained and they do look better but they are still thick and don't look natural. They have an odd shape. Even my boyfriend looked at them and said they didn't look that good. It took her a long time. She cut the tips with an old scissors. That was scary. I made an appointment ahead of time. The manager/owner took care of me. I had a no chip manicure and then a pedicure. I was wondering why the two of us where the only ones in the place. While doing my nails she left me for a delivery of a washer and dryer. She finished the manicure after leaving me once. She did not due all the steps that I have had in the past but I really thought it was ok. Only put cream on my hands, no massage. Then we proceeded to do the pedicure. Now she is paying more attention to the deliveryman. She left me to go clean up and then watch the installation. While she left the timer glass thing ran out, so she said she was done on the one side. I don't know why I tipped her 20% because I was not satisfied but kinda felt bad she was by herself. Well I was asked if I painted my toes myself when someone saw my feet. Its been one week and 8 of my nails on my hand have peeled. Unbelievable how bad they look. VERY rude technician, came an hour before they closed with an appointment on a Thursday (March 2019) and she picked up the phone when I called saying "what??" Also, she cut me and was very rushed. My nails HURT. She filed them super short on top of my actual nail before applying the acrylic (I had an acrylic fill in no chip). VERY hard on my hands and shook her head a lot if I didn't turn my hand the right way like I was supposed to read her mind. When I tipped her on the receipt at the end (which I did NOT think she deserved, and I'm a good tipper) she asked, "um, you don't have cash for tip??" Owner is very rude! And have mood swings! After her salon reopen due to COVID. She decided to no longer accept debit or credit cards. She claimed the credit card machine is broken! Which isn't true! She treat some customers with kindness and respect and others she treat like she doing you a favor even though you're a paying customer like anyone else! The last time i went to her salon i used my debit card she rudely said the next time bring cash! Which is ridiculous!!! when i just saw her accept credit card from another customer with no problem and was very kind to this customer and she never told this customer to bring cash the next time! Decided to come to this place instead of my normal go-to place due to me rushing to get a lot done today. When I came in there were three women working so I expected a to wait. There was no wait but I felt that the manager was kinda pushy in regards to the get in and get out factor. So here's the meat of it all....good local spot, manager/lead is kinda pushy demanding sit here move there. I received the specialty pedicure which was $38, it was meh kinda subpar. The massaging part of it was good but I felt that everything else was rushed and half-assed. There was another patron coming so I felt the woman doing my pedicure rushed my paint job to attend to her. Ok, I am not even one to leave reviews but I have to share my experience. First off, what the hell is happening to this place? I'm an employee at a local boutique in Palos Heights so I've come here a few times in the past, however it certainly never was my go-to salon. Today, I was in a rush since I was at work all day I decided to just pop in here for a polish change I had popped off my acrylic nails earlier in the day so my nails just needed to be cleaned from the dry glue and I wanted a color on them- super simple. I walk in and the rude ASS, monstrous lady you are all speaking of was in the back, waiting for me to state the service I need. She didn't hear me so she said "WHAT!?!?" All aggressive so then I walked up closer so she can hear me and showed her my nails to glance at them. She looked at them and me like I was a complete idiot. So the vibe was already throwing me off. I picked my color and had a seat until i was ready to be taken. This woman was in the middle of a client and then yelled "SIT HERE" to me. Again, vibe is terrible, but I proceeded to the chair. She did absolutely nothing to my nails but buffed them out (I had a full set acrylic since October my nails were terribly dried out) it was so clear they needed to be soak or clean off, something! So she buffs them out and tells me to wash my hands and I didn't hear her at first then she looked at me all crazy for not understanding then she said ".....wash your hand" I looked confused because I couldn't believe that's all she did to my nails. I swear she made me feel like they were getting ready to close or something but I was there an hour before closing and just wanted polish......anyways I'm washing my hands and as I am, she yells "JUST RINSE!!!" I looked back so appalled and had nothing to say. Her client even looked at me and felt the weirdness of the situation. Whatever then when I got back to the seat she said "pay me now" wasn't asking but more so demanding which then I was getting pissed but whatever again I let it go. I actually tipped her $3 on an $8 service even after the horrible service I was receiving. She starts applying the polish and I realized she was moving so quick that my pinky had bumped the desk and slightly smeared I wasn't even worried about it but my other hand she had me move it by the fan to dry in between the application and my hand bumped the fan from how rapid she was making me move, I was just super antsy and uncomfortable at this point so now my other pinky had a noticeable dent from the bump and I turned to her and said "op..." and the look on her face was as if she just lost a million bucks. With an angry look on her face she stepped back and said "what did you do....." as if I purposely ruined my nails which couldn't possibly already look worse than they did. She was doing a horrible job and after that look and her asking me that I said you know what just forget it......just forget it. And she looked appalled. My $3 tip was still on the desk I grabbed it and said forget it. I snapped and told her she'd been aggressive since the second I stepped foot in there and asked her what the heck is going on. She began ignoring me and went back to her client. She said "I took you first my client is waiting" like what? you could of just told me from the beginning it would be a wait and I would of gladly waited than to deal with this hostility. So then I said I don't even want the polish on my hands because they look terrrible I was like at least give me nail polish remover and she's like you have to sit and wait. I just walked out. As I got in my car I watched her continue to speak on the subject to her client. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL environment and person I've ever met. My family owns a business and this was so sad to see. Never will I return to this terrible excuse for a salon. It's a shame because the interior is nice. Just AWFUL!!! read more

I've been to this place on multiple occasions and it seems like it just keeps getting worse. The first couple of times the service was great and my mani pedi turned out well. However in the last month or so everything seems to be on a steady decline. One time I was getting my nails done by who I'm pretty sure is the owner and she got up to watch a soccer game. No words just got up watched the game for 6minutes and then came back. The last straw was I got a pedi and a polish change. Yesterday, I went to Krazy Nails for the first time after an extremely bad experience at Queen Nails in Crestwood, where I had been going for years. First of all, they greeted me immediately. I asked for a full set of "pink and white " gel nails and a polish change on my toes. The young lady, Emile, in back, called me to her for the polish change first. I began to tell her my experience, about how I had just gotten a pedicure and it was so bad. I wanted a polish change, but then just asked her to give me another pedicure. Emile mentioned how raw my cuticle was and was afraid to further injure my feet. She was so knowledgeable. Rather, than being money hungry, Emile thought about me first. The polish looked beautiful and NEAT. Then I went for my nails. I met Lulu. She was so accommodating and LISTENED to exactly what had happened with my nails and now what I wanted. ( I had just gotten a full set and they were so bad, I had asked for them to be fixed. He said no and proceeded to cut all of them off out of anger, I guess). Lulu is so talented and several times said, " its my job to make you happy and give you what you want, you're my customer". The finished product was better than I had ever received at my old salon. After I got done with my pedicure they had me dry my nails for around 30 minutes while they took another customer who came after me . I go in for a simple manicure pedicure, when I'm finished she starts yelling at me because I'm paying with a card. After apologizing for not being able to adhere to this unwritten rule she's made up, I tell her kindly that it's 2020 and I didn't know that I could not pay with a card.
