Decided to come to this place instead of my normal go-to place due to me rushing to get a lot done today. When I came in there were three women working so I expected a to wait. There was no wait but I felt that the manager was kinda pushy in regards to the get in and get out factor. So here's the meat of it all....good local spot, manager/lead is kinda pushy demanding sit here move there. I received the specialty pedicure which was $38, it was meh kinda subpar. The massaging part of it was good but I felt that everything else was rushed and half-assed. There was another patron coming so I felt the woman doing my pedicure rushed my paint job to attend to her. To be honest on the fence of coming back, maybe if I am in a pinch or in the area to give it another shot. But I think I will stick with my go-to place. read more

The woman who did my pedicure and manicure was rude, she was yelling at me to relax during the manicure and acting like it was a big problem to do my pedicure. The No chi manicure started chipping five days later which is ridiculous. It was overpriced too- terrible service I'll never go back. read more

I have been going to Krazy Nails for 4 years now and have loved Lulu. She is very professional and always does a great job. 5 stars! By the way, the pedicures are the best! read more

Dont go here - had my acrylics taken off (they actually just ripped them off). LuLu actually ripped them so hard that I ended up getting an infection under my nail. Also had an appointment for 10:00AM on Saturday. Nobody arrived to open the store until 10:30AM. There were 3 others waiting who also had appointments. read more

The reviews are true but I tried here anyway. The technician LuLu has a harsh way about her. She was very rough with my nails. Several times I told her she was hurting me. I got the pink and whites for $55 and they were very thick. She did file them thinner after I complained and they do look better but they are still thick and don't look natural. They have an odd shape. Even my boyfriend looked at them and said they didn't look that good. It took her a long time. She cut the tips with an old scissors. That was scary. The person before me was complaining about hers too. I could see nail clippings from previous customers on both tables where I sat at which made me question sanitation. She made an unprofessional comment, "The people that live around here are too picky because they have money". Really?! Is that her excuse for a job not well done? read more

Krazy Nails - Weird uneven shapes and too thick - Nail Salons Near Me - Palos Heights, Illinois

I made an appointment ahead of time. The manager/owner took care of me. I had a no chip manicure and then a pedicure. I was wondering why the two of us where the only ones in the place. While doing my nails she left me for a delivery of a washer and dryer. She finished the manicure after leaving me once. She did not due all the steps that I have had in the past but I really thought it was ok. Only put cream on my hands, no massage. Then we proceeded to do the pedicure. Now she is paying more attention to the deliveryman. She left me to go clean up and then watch the installation. While she left the timer glass thing ran out, so she said she was done on the one side. I don't know why I tipped her 20% because I was not satisfied but kinda felt bad she was by herself. Well I was asked if I painted my toes myself when someone saw my feet. Its been one week and 8 of my nails on my hand have peeled. Unbelievable how bad they look. I also have to laugh because as she was in the process of giving my a pedicure she said she only accepts cash. This should have been told when I waked in. Towards the end of my appointment, two ladies walked in and said they had an appointment. The manager said she knew that and would do both of them. They ladies wanted their treatment at the same time. I will never go back there again. Waste of money ladies! read more

Walked in- the only employee was eating (like stuffing her face and talking with food in her mouth) I go to sit down and there was FUNK floating in the bowl! The entire place smelled awful! Walked out without even sitting down. Do NOT waste your time! Disgusting!!!!! read more

VERY rude technician, came an hour before they closed with an appointment on a Thursday (March 2019) and she picked up the phone when I called saying "what??" Also, she cut me and was very rushed. My nails HURT. She filed them super short on top of my actual nail before applying the acrylic (I had an acrylic fill in no chip). VERY hard on my hands and shook her head a lot if I didn't turn my hand the right way like I was supposed to read her mind. When I tipped her on the receipt at the end (which I did NOT think she deserved, and I'm a good tipper) she asked, "um, you don't have cash for tip??" Very rude was yelling at other employees the whole time. Felt very unwanted to be a customer. I took an extra second picking out my color because I was going to a formal event for my college (I'm a nursing student) and she kept clearing her throat and sighing profusely even though it only took me like two minutes. The she asked where I live?? Maybe choose somewhere else if you want to be appreciated and feel welcome. read more

I entered Krazy nails and not one person greeted me. I stated i wanted a polish change on my toes. Started speaking their language. She gestured with her hand to go down their. Yes, this was the lady who was sitting behind the counter with the most displeasing face. I could tell they did not want to service me. All in all My toes were horrible, wish i had a picture so you all could see. I become livid when someone who isn't even from this country presents some much hatred within. I will not be treated like trash from ANYONE! I hope this review was more class and acceptable Yelp Support Team. They are racist and very unprofessional. Owner is very rude! And have mood swings! After her salon reopen due to COVID. She decided to no longer accept debit or credit cards. She claimed the credit card machine is broken! Which isn't true! She treat some customers with kindness and respect and others she treat like she doing you a favor even though you're a paying customer like anyone else! The last time i went to her salon i used my debit card she rudely said the next time bring cash! Which is ridiculous!!! when i just saw her accept credit card from another customer with no problem and was very kind to this customer and she never told this customer to bring cash the next time! She thank him with kindness! She also said to me the last time i was there i only paid her the exact amount in cash and no tip! REALLY!!! When she once again didn't want to accept credit card! And lied and said machine was broken!!! I didn't plan on paying cash. she demanded cash so i went back out to my car and had to scrap up $74 to pay her cash. So i didn't have any extra cash to give a tip! Even though she didn't deserve a tip with a nasty attitude!!! She act as if customers are obligated to give her a tip! So my last visit i used my debit card and also added her $5 tip. She never thank me! And rudely said the next time bring cash! I have never experienced such rudeness and arrogance from any other nail salon I've been to in the 30 plus years! i refused to continue patronizing this nasty and rude owner! I will spend my money at a salon who treat me like a person and not crap underneath their shoes!!!! The owner really think in her twisted mind that she's entitled to a hefty tip even though she's rude and disrespectful! Customers are obligated to pay for their services they received! A tip has to be earned with excellent service! She sure named her salon the correct name KRAZY Nails! Because the owner is coo coo CRAZY!!!!! read more

Ok, I am not even one to leave reviews but I have to share my experience. First off, what the hell is happening to this place? I'm an employee at a local boutique in Palos Heights so I've come here a few times in the past, however it certainly never was my go-to salon. Today, I was in a rush since I was at work all day I decided to just pop in here for a polish change I had popped off my acrylic nails earlier in the day so my nails just needed to be cleaned from the dry glue and I wanted a color on them- super simple. I walk in and the rude ASS, monstrous lady you are all speaking of was in the back, waiting for me to state the service I need. She didn't hear me so she said "WHAT!?!?" All aggressive so then I walked up closer so she can hear me and showed her my nails to glance at them. She looked at them and me like I was a complete idiot. So the vibe was already throwing me off. I picked my color and had a seat until i was ready to be taken. This woman was in the middle of a client and then yelled "SIT HERE" to me. Again, vibe is terrible, but I proceeded to the chair. She did absolutely nothing to my nails but buffed them out (I had a full set acrylic since October my nails were terribly dried out) it was so clear they needed to be soak or clean off, something! So she buffs them out and tells me to wash my hands and I didn't hear her at first then she looked at me all crazy for not understanding then she said ".....wash your hand" I looked confused because I couldn't believe that's all she did to my nails. I swear she made me feel like they were getting ready to close or something but I was there an hour before closing and just wanted polish......anyways I'm washing my hands and as I am, she yells "JUST RINSE!!!" I looked back so appalled and had nothing to say. Her client even looked at me and felt the weirdness of the situation. Whatever then when I got back to the seat she said "pay me now" wasn't asking but more so demanding which then I was getting pissed but whatever again I let it go. I actually tipped her $3 on an $8 service even after the horrible service I was receiving. She starts applying the polish and I realized she was moving so quick that my pinky had bumped the desk and slightly smeared I wasn't even worried about it but my other hand she had me move it by the fan to dry in between the application and my hand bumped the fan from how rapid she was making me move, I was just super antsy and uncomfortable at this point so now my other pinky had a noticeable dent from the bump and I turned to her and said "op..." and the look on her face was as if she just lost a million bucks. With an angry look on her face she stepped back and said "what did you do....." as if I purposely ruined my nails which couldn't possibly already look worse than they did. She was doing a horrible job and after that look and her asking me that I said you know what just forget it......just forget it. And she looked appalled. My $3 tip was still on the desk I grabbed it and said forget it. I snapped and told her she'd been aggressive since the second I stepped foot in there and asked her what the heck is going on. She began ignoring me and went back to her client. She said "I took you first my client is waiting" like what? you could of just told me from the beginning it would be a wait and I would of gladly waited than to deal with this hostility. So then I said I don't even want the polish on my hands because they look terrrible I was like at least give me nail polish remover and she's like you have to sit and wait. I just walked out. As I got in my car I watched her continue to speak on the subject to her client. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL environment and person I've ever met. My family owns a business and this was so sad to see. Never will I return to this terrible excuse for a salon. It's a shame because the interior is nice. Just AWFUL!!! read more

Scheduled an appointment for two pedicures and two no chip manicures. They sat us down and the person that was with me was taken care of right away. Well I sat and waited for over an hour and a half in a pedicure chair to not be even taken care of or anything said to me. Others came in and took care of them before doing any services for me. I got up and still said nothing to me so I will have to take time and go somewhere else. Waited and got no service owner is super rude and chairs were leaking water all over the floors. Clearly they do not care about having clients this was my second time trying this place and will never step foot back here total waste of my time. I've been to this place on multiple occasions and it seems like it just keeps getting worse. The first couple of times the service was great and my mani pedi turned out well. However in the last month or so everything seems to be on a steady decline. One time I was getting my nails done by who I'm pretty sure is the owner and she got up to watch a soccer game. No words just got up watched the game for 6minutes and then came back. The last straw was I got a pedi and a polish change. I'm not sure what they did but my nails are sticky and they all chipped 2 days later. It's like they forgot a top coat. I would recommend going else where if you're in Palos! read more

I'd she didn't want to do my nails she should have said so. I was so u comfortable the whole time and when we were finished she charged me 40 dollars even tho I didn't get any type of polish at all this place is rude and crooked. This little place gets my four stars only because of John. His attention to my hands and feet is beyond detailed. I feel like a waxed car after I leave. I received pedicures from other technicians there and they were the worst. I wanted to switch spots and show them how its done. But John is great from the moment you sit down in his chair to the minute he is finished polishing and correcting the polish. Price is unbeatable, 35 for pedi and mani. I would not go there if it was not for John. read more

I was cut, the technician continued to go over the cut despite my obvious discomfort. Very rude workers. Got a no-chip manicure that chipped by the next day and the tips of my nails turned black by the 3rd day. Nail polish had severely peeled back by day 4. I DO NOT recommend. I went back politely for a fair refund and was refused/denied the refund. During this process I was laughed at and full on disrespected. read more

I am not a "Yelper". I dont have the time, BUT, I MADE THE TIME TODAY TO COMMEND THIS SALON! I have been getting my nails done for over 35 years. Yesterday, I went to Krazy Nails for the first time after an extremely bad experience at Queen Nails in Crestwood, where I had been going for years. First of all, they greeted me immediately. I asked for a full set of "pink and white " gel nails and a polish change on my toes. The young lady, Emile, in back, called me to her for the polish change first. I began to tell her my experience, about how I had just gotten a pedicure and it was so bad. I wanted a polish change, but then just asked her to give me another pedicure. Emile mentioned how raw my cuticle was and was afraid to further injure my feet. She was so knowledgeable. Rather, than being money hungry, Emile thought about me first. The polish looked beautiful and NEAT. Then I went for my nails. I met Lulu. She was so accommodating and LISTENED to exactly what had happened with my nails and now what I wanted. ( I had just gotten a full set and they were so bad, I had asked for them to be fixed. He said no and proceeded to cut all of them off out of anger, I guess). Lulu is so talented and several times said, " its my job to make you happy and give you what you want, you're my customer". The finished product was better than I had ever received at my old salon. So, I am so happy, that I felt it necessary to share my experience and hope others will read this recommendation. Ladies, this salon is a " 5 STAR" experience, atmosphere and results!!!!! read more

The owner is rude, she kept huffing and puffing at every request. She was bothered that my daughter had requested rainbow colors. She over charged me, did not have a standard price for nail design. I will be calling the department of professional regulations. To add to this, we waited for 25 minutes, AND the way they sanatized the foot washing bowl and dead skin shaving blade was not sanitary. I have never been treated that way at any other nail salon. It's sad, because I remember coming here a few years ago when there was a male owner, and he was very nice. read more

I'm never one to write reviews or wish ill on a business but this owner had seriously out done herself today. I go in for a simple manicure pedicure, when I'm finished she starts yelling at me because I'm paying with a card. After apologizing for not being able to adhere to this unwritten rule she's made up, I tell her kindly that it's 2020 and I didn't know that I could not pay with a card. After overcharging me for a mani pedi- there's nothing written anywhere about their prices. She then starts yelling at me about the tip that I'm also not paying in cash because cards are literally accepted everywhere. After listening to her clearly yell and talk about me in a language I don't understand I had the girl doing my nails stop mid painting one hand because I could no longer stand the disrespect and uncomfortable vibes that the owner was dishing out. She also told me to "fuck you" as I was leaving. I don't know how this woman has kept her business this long while acting like a child having a temper tantrum, making customers uncomfortable, being blatantly disrespectful and ignorant. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Which is probably why they had no one in their shop. Go to mercie nails. They're always busy but atleast they know how to act right and treat their customers with respect. Do not go here unless you want me to deal with a shitshow because of the owners mental instability read more
