First time here and not impressed. Everyone always told me to come here and because of that I honestly recommended my sister and niece before I even came here . Waiting time is forever but consider that I came on a Friday night. Credit cards accepted but no tips allowed on credit card tabs which I always find that shady. The lady at front line left took care of me and was gracious and understanding to the fact that it was my first time there and I didn't have cash to tip her properly. I planned to come Back a day after to give her a cash tip, but a day after, life happens and so did a crack in my left nail and a whole chip on my right middle finger ( pictures shown).. Dip manicure - for $45 you just dip the nail- no cuticle pushing/trimming, no nail shaping(yes I had to demand he shape my nails because they looked awful when I walked in). You charged me full price to "learn" the technique & it shows. So disappointed. Pedicure was ok, but they took tools off other stations and used them with out cleaning. Kinda gross. Doesn't say anywhere you have to tip in cash but he ran my card and I was never given an option. I guess this place works in a bind but I wouldnt go here if there was any other option. read more

Only shop I go to! I love this place. Ask for "T" for your nails. He's gentle and does great work. He fixed my nail when I cracked it horizontally right in the middle after a night of too many cocktails. Ouch! After that, he won my trust with my hands :) I keep forgetting to ask his name, but the young guy there does excellent pedicures! I had already had a bad experience here the last time that I went, I waited over an hour and a half to get a no chip mani. They helped everybody else that came after me only because they were getting pedicures too. I decided to give this place one more chance because the place that I normally go to now had no parking available, but since it was my only day off that week I decided to go to mantrap. I got a dip manicure. I've gotten several dip manicures before but this is the worst one I've ever had. There's areas where I have no color. The staff is friendly. read more

I've come to this location a couple of times and it was always good but today was terrible. I went in around 2:30. The pictures say it all. I sit down for a pedicure and this mans work was just LAZY. He did nothing but scrub my feet and file my toe nail way too much. Do you how curved in it is on the right side??? He just kept filing. When it was time to get the painting done, a lady comes and sees the terrible work he did and she literally had to do the work he didn't. She cleaned everything he left behind. I can tell she was disappointed in what he did. Moving forward to my manicure. I wanted a square shape and he gave me round and lumpy. Do you see the lumps on my index finger? AND he didn't even file the nails all the way. My middle finger nail is so round compared to my ring finger.... Guess what...... The same lady who was fixing up my pedicure was supposed to do my manicure but couldn't. I came home and had to file my nails to a square shape. I paid $65 for a crappy pedicure and manicure. And on top of that I left a tip because I'm not an asshole but now I regret it. The work was sloppy today and I bet that lady alone would've gave me my money's worth. This is my second time here and I won't be back. The guy who did my nails was overly aggressive and did a sloppy job. I'm sure this was in part because he was rushing. I had a no chip mani and regular pedicure. He broke one of my toenails during my pedi and paint job on my no chip was terrible. I could've done a better job myself. I was excited to have some time for myself since I'm a new mom and haven't had time for myself but I left here wishing I went somewhere else. The color is uneven and when I showed the tech he said, that's how it's supposed to be. Hello! This may be new to them, but its definitely not new to me. The other lady that was sitting next to us said, next time he will do it right. Really? I said yeah next time next customer! When it came to charging, he still charged 45 dollars! Last 45 dollars they will see from me. Oh and another thing. Be aware that they don't clean after a pedicure. They use the sponges that they clean your feet with and wipe the pedicure basins with that. After they place the sponges on the little cart and on to the next customer. read more

I loved it and I went back in this week for a manicure. Granted I had to wait a bit longer than other people after me but because I wanted to wait for her and she even apologized but I told her it was fine because I can truly say, this is the first time in while that I get a good manicure. Great experience from this place! This was the only nail salon in my area open on a Sunday, so I decided to stop by for the first time. Their pedicure was the best I've ever received. The young lady took her time and I loved the extra touch with the warm towels at the end of your pedi. Manicure was also perfect. I am guessing she gave me a no chip mani and pedi because when she was done, she charged me $50. Not the $35 as advertised for mani/pedi. I enjoyed the experience so much, I didn't complain. Next time I'll make sure to request a regular mani/pedi. They also need a better selection of nail polish. And maybe more chairs while you wait. Definitely NOT going back there again. Went there just because my usual place was not open when I tried to go (I went at an unusual time) and really needed to have my mani and pedi done. They didn't have the color that I wanted for my no chip mani and I opted for this as a substitute. My "no chip mani" is chipping at the edges and is cracking across the top. Very disappointed. My pedi was also rushed and had no time to even soak my feet in the water. Some water started to run into the basin and barely reached my ankles when the gentleman started to work on my feet. I do not recommend coming here, I went to get my nails done for my 21st birthday and they came out looking great! I went on vacation to Cancun and within a day 3 of my nails had just broken off, and the (no chip) paint was already coming off from. I decided to take them off because I didn't want to look bogus, and usually I have a hard time taking off a full set but these just came off as if they were stick on nails. Life saver! I will begin by saying I have only gotten pedicures at this location. So far I love it. I used to have to travel to Bolingbrook to get this type of pampering and service. I loved my nails. Inexpensive No-Chip and great job. I am aware no-chip lasts for 2 weeks but for me, I last over a month before I have to get them redone for regrowth. Highly recommended. read more
