Very unsanitary place. Right when you walk in the whole place is very outdated and definitely needs some up keeping. The tools they used for our pedicures were not sanitized and just laying out from the previous clients. The pumice stone they used was so worn down, who knows how many peoples feet it was used on. As well as the nail file. (Which both should be tossed after the one time use). They charged $5 extra to remove gel polish but removed it by drilling it off and then said they can't shape them in a square due to them being so weak.... ‍. They even cut me with the cuticle cutter and then just laid it back down with the unused tools. Should have passed on the pedicure but felt rude with it being a gift. Definitely would not suggest going to this place unless you want to catch something. read more

They do a great job on my nails, fill-ins, pedicures and eyebrow waxing! So personable! They always ask about my family and friends, they truly care, it's not just shop talk. They did a great job on our pedicures and what I really appreciated was them letting us stay in our chairs until we were all done vs sending up one by one to the dryer so that someone is by themselves. Absolutely horrible. I wish I could give it ZERO stars. My hubby and I decided that we needed some relief as it was a rough week because we were planning a memorial. Looking for a place near Swallow Cliff to stop in and we found this place. Stopped in, it was empty and to me that was perfect. We sit down and it then it started. I kid you not, it felt like the techs were racing who could finish the job first. My nail tech was too busy looking at TV and my husband nail tech was just in her on world. Next thing I know, she was wrapping up my husband pedicure and he was wrapping up mine. I have never finished at the same time as my husband.....NEVER. It was such a failure and we left them with even more stress. I guess that's what we get for going to a place we would t normally go to. Not to mention it didn't appear to be sanitized properly. Completely unhygienic. There is skin residue on ALL of their items. If you request a new pumice sponge that cost $1 at the supply store they charge you $6 . Fungal infections are a real thing. Bacterial infections are a real thing and this place apparently doesn't recognize that. They try to nickel and dime everything they can out of you. The sanitizer isn't clean. I came in with my daughter and my grandmother. I requested 3 pedicures. First thing I noticed is that there are no covers in the sink and they use a bleach spray to clean them which I personally am allergic to. Again, the nail files they used are filled with other people's skin and completely run down. I canceled the pedicure for my daughter and myself but unfortunately they had already started on my grandmother. I waited it out and paid the obnoxious fees just for the clean tools for her to use and left and will NEVER return read more

Went today for a no chip manicure and a pedicure. During my manicure, he got polish on almost every cuticle, and my skin was stuck to the polish. On top of that, my cuticles were not trimmed well and he didn't cap the nails so the polish is shear at the top of my nails. My pedicure was not so great either, they don't use any short of leg scrub, they use oil instead of lotion which I personally don't prefer, and they don't even wrap your legs in a hot towel which is always refreshing. I have the same polish issue on my toes, where the polish is on my cuticles and the skin surrounding my toes, for a precessional salon they should be able to paint without getting polish on your skin. When I confronted the lady about the polish job not looking good, she lectured me on how no chip is bad for my nails, and that I should have had my no chip off for a few weeks before applying more, but I wasn't even wearing no chip when I came in today and haven't had any on for weeks. Would not recommend. Will not return. read more

I used to go to Merci Nails in Palos and omg they are soooo expensive. A coworker of mine showed me this place. Its small and cozy and they have the best prices in town. Im crazy for their pedicures (about $25) they last about 45mins...and they really give you a great massage and get all the dead skin off. Make sure to get the sea salt pedi! The overall experience wasn't the worst I've ever had at a nail salon BUT I don't just base my visit on customer service. I am a huge stickler on sanitation. Being a Cosmetologist myself I'm aware of the proper steps of sanitation and sterilization in a salon/nail salon. When I saw the nail techs spraying tools down with some alcohol as a way of cleaning.. I freaked out in my head! Spraying tools down with alcohol does not kills all germs and bacteria. On top of that I witnessed another employee finish giving a guest a manicure. Once the guest paid, the employee took the cuticle nippers she used on that guest, and simply rinsed them off with water.. that is definitely not sanitation. read more

I hate this place so much. I went with my sister here and the guy who did my nails was so rude. The place is so dirty and dusty. I got white nails and the next day they turned yellow. Nails that turn into a yellow or brown is because their is a cheap top coat on them. I called them and asked for a refund because I wanted to go somewhere else but the man refused. There was no sign that said no refunds or on the receipt, their is no policy, but he said no refunds. I will never ever do business with them ever again. read more

I get a warm welcome every time I walk in. I work at a local salon and they let me put out rack cards with my services on them which is really nice. Everyone is VERY sweet and good. Fast in and out service - I pay $30 for a hot stone pedicure and it is AMAZING. I definitely recommend spending the couple of extra dollars for the longer massage with the hot stones. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Where do I start? Scary horrible all the way around. Filthy, and when I say filthy, I mean FILTHY! Old pedicure chairs with brown fabric coverlets on them that looked like they hadn't been washed in centuries. Filthy floors that also looked like they hadn't been swept/mopped in centuries. I didn't see the sanitizing boxes for santizing tools, and the tools weren't sealed in the little bags. Filthy old curtains that look like they came from a flea market circa 1979. Pedicure bowl and manicure station filthy. Totally outdated...The pedicure chairs looked and felt like they were twenty years old, and the massagers on the chair barely worked. They had old school signs up advertising "Orly French Manicure" that also appeared to be circa 1979. Flies flying around in there...Tell me when to stop. And the actual services themselves., well, a child could've done better. I got both a pedi and no chip mani. not much cuticle removal at all for pedi, nails shaped like a crazy person filed them, and horrible polish job. It gets worse...The no chip mani (if thats what you call it) took all of fifteen minutes. My pinky nail had broke down to the quick, the girl didn't file it and didn't cut the dead skin where it had broke. She then proceeded to polish everywhere but the nail, so the polish ended up peeling right off. she filed/buffed my nails, (if that's what you call it), and then pretty much left the residue on my nails and painted over that. she did not paint all the way down to the cuticle, nor did she "wrap" the polish over the extreme tips of the nails, therefore I have visible gaps where the cuticle meets the nail bed, and also the visible white nail tips. bottom line, stay away, a five year old could've done better! read more
