Worst nail experience I've ever had. I walked out and looked at my nails to be in shock at how horribly they looked. I had to go to another salon to get them re done because I was scared to even say anything, but after realizing my money is mine and I shouldn't pay for a bad service I went back to get my money. I was met with hostility and Lucy and her sidekick who raised their voices at me. Worst customer service I've ever been met with. Save your time and money. Lesson learned not to accept bad service. Your money is worth more than that. The owner also got other customers involved who were in the establishment, crappy nails with a side of stress. Sounds like a place I don't want to be! Very unprofessional and has horrible work quality. Not to mention, the place is outdated and unclean and so is the technique in which they do nails and handle business issues. I would like to also mention the fact of how dusty it is inside. Not a clean place at all. She didn't even refund me my entire balance.... DO NOT COME HERE! They responded to my review on Google which was beyond fabricated, they asked me to call them which I did multiple times they told me to come in for my refund and gave me the biggest issue when I got to the establishment. I scheduled a $25 service and when I was paying Lucy(the owner) charged me $45. She upgraded my service without my permission and scammed me. Lucy (the owner) was the one who did my nails. She had gotten some polish on my two thumbs and instead of removing it with remover she continuously scraped my thumbs to the point of them bleeding. She then soaked my bleeding thumbs in acetone. On top of all of that this place was filthy. There was dust in the corners, the back wasn't finished, there was what looked like mold on the sink. The nail salon is extremely clean and well kept. I had the dip powder nails and I was so impressed! My nails looks wonderful and much better than a no chip manicure. I was told to go here by a family friend because I was looking for a place to get my nails done for cheap. I have to say, after my experience here today, I will not be back. I wanted a full set of acrylics and apparently I picked a certain pink shade and she couldnt do that color with the acrylic. I then picked another color and she proceeded to say another one would look better with the shape I picked.... it seemed very unprofessional and I do not see how a nail tech cannot do a certain shade on acrylics (mind you this was the owner, Lucy). This was I first time at this Salon. I was served by the owner lady Ms. Lucy, who is very nice but talks a lot. The manicure was done really poorly: no pushing or cutting cuticles, polish applied was messy and going on my fingers, not only nails. This was no chip manicure, which Ms. Lucy guaranteed for two weeks, however the polish started to come off within 7 days. My pedicure was no better: some of my toes got nail polish just halfway. I went in at 7pm for 2 mani/pedis and the service was aweful. The guy who did my pedi was still in training I think and did a horrible job with my nails. I think my little brother could have done better! They rushed through the mani and soaked one hand and not the other and just slapped on the polish. I thought about making this my regular place for mani/pedis as it is so close to home, but it is definitely not worth the $32 price (even if that is considered reasonable by most places). read more

I will not go back. A gentleman did my manicure and the polish is streaky, uneven and messy. I understand that nail salons will have strong smells but this place was extremely bad. I love Lucy's Nails...I have been going to the salon for over 3 years. The service is excellent. They give outstanding pedicures. They offer seasonal fruit scrubs on your legs that are included with the pedicure. I normally get no chip manicures that can last close to three weeks. My no chip didn't even last a week and it already started to peel. Also my thumb nail wasn't painted all the way. Totally disapointed in this place. I normally go to VIP nails and love it there however I was recommended to go here by a friend and see Lucy and I will not ever go back. As sweet as Lucy was her no chip manicure was terrible. All she did was cut the skin around my nails then put the polish on in which the polish was brushed onto my skin and i thought she would remove it. She kept saying polish then we done. Which is exactly what was done..no cuticle remover and put lotion on my hands and said ok we done. I had to keep showing her and the other nail tech how she missed spots on my nails near the edges. She also had 6 women come in as a family to have their nails done and she only had one other nail tech working so i felt very rushed and left with nail polish on my skin..very unprofessional and just awful. I could have done a better job myself quite honestly. Then she tells me its 30 dollars anyways i ended up giving her a 4.00 tip and then come to find out my credit card was charged 36.00 so she added an extra 6.00 to her tip or she failed to even tell me or have a sign posted that there was a charge for using a credit card. Im extremely disapointed in this salon as i rarely get my nails done and when i did as a treat to myself for the holidays it was awful.
