We stopped by here this morning, impromptu but intrigued by the long line outside the cafe. I got a cappuccino, and it definitely didn't disappoint. It was smooth and creamy, and came out at the perfect sipping temperature. I was a little surprised at how little it kicked though; I'm quite caffeine sensitive, but I barely felt it. Not complaining though! We also tried their blackberry pistachio croissant because it sounded super unique, and it was amazing. The croissant itself was exactly what you want, with a crispy flaky exterior and an airy soft interior. The filling was delicious too; sweet and jammy but with a little tang. They also had some delicious looking donuts that we'll definitely try next time! The one complaint was how long the wait was. There was probably 6 parties ahead of us, but we still ended up waiting almost 30 minutes. This is most likely because they take your order, prepare it, and only then do they take the next order. I drive by at least twice a week on my way to and from grocery shopping and on a whim decided to pull over for a latte this morning. There is usually a bit of a line which has piqued my interest for months. Simply put, it was the best latte I've had in recent memory. The espresso is perfectly roasted, velvety smooth, and perfectly complemented by the Strauss milk they use. There is no bitterness whatsoever. Worth the long line! The MOCHA was delicious. You could taste that quality chocolate was used. Just a DRIP COFFEE tastes noticeably better than other places. Maybe not "better," be for sure unique in its flavor. The SERVICE was excellent and kind (it was early, I was tired and misreading the bagel menu, and the guy was very patient with me). MIDNIGHT BAGELS: I got six poppyseed bagels, and I never want to get bagels anywhere else ever again. They are fully covered in poppyseeds, the inside is moist (weird for a bagel, but it works!), and they toast up perfectly. Going off and adding to another review; And yes once you go somewhere else to get coffee, you'll begin to notice the difference in quality that other coffee shops serve in comparison to Linea. Linea Caffé has a unique taste and it is wonderful. I came here on a Saturday today as well. these pictures are from another day. When ever I am in SF i come here because it's accessible to my driving route. It's just a short drive from N280 and there is short term parking in the neighborhood it serves. Wow, amazing no frills coffee! I ordered a mocha latte and the barista told me to order the 12 oz instead of the smaller size because there are still two shots of espresso regardless of the size of the cup. The 12 oz was the perfect ratio of chocolate syrup, espresso and milk. Haven't had coffee in a while so this was a tasty Sunday treat. Parking is easy and there was a bit of a line on a Sunday morning but it goes pretty quick. Prices are standard $5-7. Unfortunately there's no inside seating, but we were waiting for a brunch place to call our name so this was the perfect pit stop before we got seated. read more

I live super close to this place so it's a super convenient for me! It can get REALLY busy at times but the wait is never too long. It's a very popular spot so there's always people there. There's no inside seating but they have a cute little area outside. The baristas are always super nice and friendly! Coffee is good, a bit on the pricey side in my opinion. Their super-freshly roasted beans are fantastic for when I make coffee at home (weekdays) and their espresso drinks are so smooth and velvety for when I treat myself on weekends. They carry some of the best / classic Neighbor Bakehouse pastries and Dynamo Donuts selections. It's definitely a luxurious day when I can get there before the lemon buttermilk donut (IYKYK. most slept on donut EVER bc it's labeled gluten free) or everything croissant sell out!! I thought that there would be a line at 9am since Bay Area people wake up quite early. But no line! It was also a foggy, cold day. I got their iced oat milk latte. Decided to give this coffee shop a try while hanging out in the Dogpatch area of SF. There was a short line when we walked up but ordering was quick. Decided on a matcha tea latte w/ oat milk and an express coffee. Pretty standard taste wise. The back part of the building appeared to be still under construction but there was ample seating outside. I frequent Linea 2-3x a week and I've usually had no complaints whatsoever - their coffee is excellent and their baristas are super friendly. They also have a nice rewards program (I mean, given how wildly expensive their coffee is, this is a need to have) where you get a free drink after purchasing every 10. However, this morning their system was "down" and the cashier said it's just a purchase lost (after it was made) and there was no way it could be contributed to the rewards program retroactively. This is very poor customer service on their part. Additionally, I ordered a cappuccino with Oat milk and I got one with regular milk. Truly a wasted purchase. read more

Espresso is really excellent, drip is variable. Beans are great. Neighbor pastries, if you get there early enough on one of the days they have them (I think W Th S currently), also great. But the unnecessary waits caused by the ordering system... Right now (Covid times) each order is individually taken and completed before moving to the next one. It takes a really long time, and means one of the baristas often isn't doing much. And it's a popular place, so a long line moves slowwwwwly. Especially stinks because they just raised prices again, and it seems like they could make a lot more/hour (while keeping themselves safe, which if the most important thing). Not to mention every time I've been in line longer than ~4 parties, I've seen at least one person just give up and leave. I think the reasoning is social distancing, so the person ordering waits for their drink without crowding the next person ordering. But with SF at 75+% all ages fully vaccinated and the line being outside with lots of space, I think it would be ok for someone to step to the side after ordering and wait. Linea could still only do two orders at a time, instead of one, to minimize crowding while going a little faster. I would usually never complain in a review, and I'm happy to practice patience and meet the nice dogs in line! But it really is unnecessarily drawn out and makes me avoid my otherwise favorite coffee place. read more

I live nearby to Linea Caffe, and am always excited to try new beans for coffee at home. I ordered their Espresso Linea Blend. The coffee isn't bad, but lacked much flavor or complexity. It felt like I was drinking coffee-flavored espresso-water, and I actually like my espressos fairly mild as it is. The convenience would be acceptable, except that their beans are $22/lb. I would rank this lower than Sextant and Chromatic for local beans. read more

This espresso is some of the best you'll find in the city. This is where the locals go to grab a high quality espresso. The Ethiopian Suke Quto is their best bean in my humble coffee opinion. It has a nice balanced finish to it with a slight vanilla hue to it, at least that's what I taste! It's some good espresso. read more

It serves the same excellent coffee as does the Mission location, and it has a well curated selection of baked good from Neighbor Bakehouse (which is also a fine establishment). Opening during a pandemic can not be fun, but they've got the social distancing markers out front and all appears to be running smoothly.The coffee is excellent, and I like that I can also buy beans here.
