This store always has a variety of corals to choose from and the prices are all reasonable. Their main frag tank has frag sections from $10 to $55 and they have additional tanks with $45-$85+ sections. They also sell livestock that goes through a quarantine process. I have a thriving little Longhorned Cowfish named Mootz that came from LE and he eats more like a horsefish . Additionally they stock alot of dry goods and the prices compare with Amazon. Great place to go when you need something specific and need it quick. They run specials almost every weekend and I definitely recommend following their social accounts to keep updated on specials. Not sure if I'd trust any live purchases from here. Multiple dead, or close to it, fish in tanks. A couple sickly looking fish and a huge trigger shoved in a tiny display tank where it could barely turn around. Super bad aiptasia problems in a portion of the tanks. With that being said, lower prices compared to alot of stores around here. Pretty good selection of anemones. So if you're looking for a good deal make a stop and glance around to make a decision for yourself. I could've just gone on a bad day. read more

Bought 3 fish from there 2 weeks apart and all 3 died within a week. Acclimated them correctly, rest of my fish are ok. But 3 different types on 3 different days within 1 week of purchasing . Not sure if it is because they use copper in their water or what but paid a lot of $$ for fish and couldn't enjoy them since they died so quickly . read more

Don't bother or buyer beware. They don't guarantee their stock - you buy something, and it dies in under 24hrs, oh well is their store motto. We have over 20yrs exp with salt water, and we're told on the phone no refunds/exhanges because "they don't know how things are treated after they leave the store" and that "invertebrates are touchy to begin with". I have had some excellent experiences with this LFS. The coral and other livestock have been healthy, beautiful and well priced. The staff have been helpful without being condescending when I have asked questions or needed help. The only thing I could possibly have better experience with would be a better invert selection. I guess that's not their focus. read more

This place by far has the best coral selection in Phoenix! From in house colonies to massive ORA shipments, they will have something for you! They also have a great variety of supplies, inverts and properly quarantined fish. The staff is knowledgeable and super friendly and there is usually a new sale every Friday. I used to drive out to them from Glendale but luckily don't have to anymore since I'm in Tempe. And that is because they're the best in the valley!!! read more

Ive now visited twice and purchased coral and inverts. The space is small but the selection is vast. The prices are reasonable and at times and negotiable. There is a large selection of corals from common to higher end. The staff is reasonable; they understand there are only guidelines but no hard rules. My only complaint is that initially the location is difficult to find and the hours are not conventional. This most likely allows for prices to be reasonable. I will be returning. read more

I feel so lucky to have found Aaron and LE Corals. As a complete beginner (I didn't even know the difference between a reef tank and a fish tank!), I put my total faith in Aaron. He set me up with a spectacular 200+ gallon tank with all of the latest equipment needed to keep it clean and healthy. He and his expert crew (thanks, Arrik!) installed everything seamlessly, even though I am 2 hours away. They taught me quite simply and clearly what all the equipment does and how to maintain it and the tank. They stocked it with 10 stunning corals and 6 fun and colorful fish to start. I have a beautiful reef aquarium that is everything I hoped for and more. I know there will be setbacks, which is the nature of the hobby, but I am 100% certain that they have set me up way ahead of the game. Another oddly placed salt water fish store, LE Corals is well worth the trip. Those who keep reef tanks do it because they look amazing. A well made tank is like a work of art and this store is like a showroom. All their corals looked healthy and that is not surprising as they said the quarantine room was bigger than their sales floor. Although its showroom may be smaller and uniquely placed. This store is awesome. Nothing but the best customer service every time I go in. I prefer going to this store even over stores that are closer to me in Chandler. Fantastic prices and great quality product. They are always willing to give you advice when you are having problems with your aquarium. This is a top quality store that would never take advantage of its customers. LE Corals is a little hard to find, but definitely worth a visit. It is my go-to spot for saltwater fish, inverts, and coral. I love that everything in their showroom has been quarantined (seriously, their quarantine area is bigger than the showroom). Every fish I've purchased from LE Corals has been healthy, quick to start eating, and beautiful. Despite LE Corals' relatively small showroom, they always seem to have the fish I'm looking for. The selection is great. The majority of the fish in my 100 G mixed reef tank are from LE. The only LE fish I've ever lost jumped out of the tank (my fault for not covering it); I've never lost any due to health issues. LE Corals also offer an amazing selection of coral for great prices. The owner, Aaron, is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I consider my experience level to be lower intermediate (on a good day), so Aaron's advice has been quite helpful as I progress in this hobby. Whenever I come in to the store, he asks me how particular fish or coral are doing, and I really appreciate that level of consideration for the animals. I love that Aaron genuinely cares about the animals and wants the people that buy them to be successful with their tanks. I highly recommend checking LE Corals out if you haven't yet.
