I am writing this to warn the Tucson community about severe, deceptive service violations and…read morepotential vehicle sabotage at this location (333 W Valencia Rd). If you value your vehicle's safety, do not bring it here. I brought my meticulously maintained 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe here for routine oil changes using a Groupon. On my second visit, a manager tried to scare me into a $700 passenger-side CV axle replacement that I didn't need. When I returned for my third visit on April 11th, that same manager doubled down. After I confronted him with research proving CV axles don't magically fail between oil changes, things took a deeply alarming turn. I went outside and discovered my car was not on a lift or in the service bay, it was parked completely around the back of the building which the current manager, Joseph, has formally admitted on the record is a direct violation of official company protocol. Another manager, Angelo, checked the car, confirmed the CV axle claim was completely false, and the shady employee was apparently let go two weeks ago due to a pattern of dishonest behavior. However, the damage was already done. The second I drove off the lot on April 11th, my radio, dashboard presets, and vehicle settings were completely wiped and reset to factory defaults. Shady mechanics do this by disconnecting the battery or using a scanner to force-clear error codes and hide warning lights. Worse, they failed to even give me a new windshield mileage sticker and I had to go back to get one. Since that exact visit, my vehicle has suffered from a severe "dragging" sensation upon acceleration and odd shifting. It is highly probable my car went without oil, was refilled with completely incorrect oil, or was physically tampered with during that unprocedural time around back. On May 22nd, I took the car to the Oracle Rd. location to redeem my final oil change, only for them to put it on the lift and suddenly point out a massive, active turbocharger oil leak. The Oracle location may very well be covering for the Valencia site's liabilities. Corporate customer service (Case Reference: 4373693) has repeatedly stalled, and the District Manager, Mike, has failed to contact me. When I brought the vehicle back to Valencia for a manager walkthrough, a technician who was present during the April 11th incident conveniently pretended to have amnesia. They never offered to make it right or even to compensate for gas to come in. Because this business broke protocol, handled my car in an unmonitored area, and effectively compromised a major mechanical system, I am demanding that the corporate office immediately preserve the back-alley security camera footage. I am completely uncomfortable letting this company touch my car again. I am invoking my right to an independent, third-party diagnostic teardown at a certified Hyundai dealership, and I expect this company to cover the towing, direct dealership repair costs, and a rental vehicle. Until they take accountability for their technicians' deceptive and damaging actions, stay far away from this network. I am allowing for opportunity to make right what has been done by this company before I proceed with a lawsuit. I am a mom who is now out of a vehicle, at no fault of my own for trusting a company to perform a service that was paid for and I expect this to be resolved swiftly.

They called Friday at 2pm to let me know that they had spilled gas all over my car and had broken the fuel pump that they tried to install. I picked it up on Saturday and paid 700 dollars. Once I walked to check out my car it was obviously vandalized and smelled like urine. They had in fact not locked it and someone had stolen every thing inside my car. In total somewhere in the realm of 2-3k worth of items not including my personal documents like registration, insurance, and IDs. I went inside to bring this to their attention the manager named adam started yelling at his employees on why they keep doing this meaning this happens all the time. They of course were no help and the owner Francisco was unwilling to speak with me. The essentially said good luck trying to get your stuff back since the police did not come. I filed a police report am sending complaints to your corporate, disputing the charge since you did not in fact fix my car. When I started driving home my car started to over heat because they did not connect my air intake back on I had to stop at autozone and fix this myself. Lastly today I am having my car detailed because it smells like urine at my own expense because they did not care to help me. When I asked for a refund for the work adam laughed and said good luck with that. Lastly I am checking my car more thoroughly and my fuse box is wide open with a bunch of fuses missing. If you want your car to be given back to you worse than how you gave it then take it here. They do not stand by their work here. They had bad customer service, do nothing to help the customer, absolutely just amateurs. Attached is the police report the manager did on my behalf but of course absolutely did not help me in any way. They have video of what they did and the person that stole my items but again were not willing to help me in any way. So to recap. The took a long time, rarely communicated with me, did not actually finish fixing my car, did not reasonably take care of my car since they did not lock it, and did not give me any help after they let someone steal all of the items in my car. I have been going to meineke for years and I will never come back again unless someone makes this right.

For…read moremany years, I trusted this location with all of my family's vehicle maintenance and repairs. I've recommended them to many of may friends and coworkers. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have left me disappointed and questioning whether I can continue doing business here. One ongoing issue involves a vehicle that has been regularly maintained since we purchased it in 2011. The fuel gauge developed a problem, and over the course of more than a year the shop replaced two fuel pumps and performed various troubleshooting efforts, yet the issue remains unresolved. During that process, I was also quoted over $1,000 for a fuel pump pigtail repair. After researching the part myself, I found the pigtail available for less than $20. Experiences like this made me begin questioning both the diagnosis and the value being provided. They simply can't fix the problem. More recently, I brought in another vehicle for significant maintenance, including A/C service, brake work, and a new belt. When I picked up the vehicle and drove away, it immediately developed a loud squealing noise that had not been present beforehand. I returned to the shop and was told by the manager that it was simply excess grease and that the noise would go away on its own. It did not. Seven weeks later, the noise became even worse, so I brought the vehicle back. This time I was told the belts were fine and that I needed a new A/C compressor, resulting in yet another major repair estimate. Given that the A/C system had recently been serviced and the noise appeared immediately after the belt replacement, I expected a more thorough explanation and a willingness to investigate whether the prior repair work could be related. What concerns me even more is that routine preventive maintenance is supposed to provide peace of mind and help prevent larger problems down the road. When I bring a vehicle in for recommended maintenance, my expectation is that the work is genuinely necessary, performed correctly, and contributes to the long-term reliability of the vehicle. Instead, I have repeatedly left feeling as though the focus was on generating additional repair recommendations and expenses while the original concerns remained unresolved. That experience has made it very difficult to trust the advice I am receiving. After more than 20 years as a customer, the greatest disappointment is not the money I've spent. It's the loss of confidence. Trust is earned over time but can be lost quickly when concerns are dismissed, diagnoses change repeatedly, and accountability is lacking when problems arise after service. I no longer feel confident that routine maintenance recommendations are being made or performed with the level of care and attention that customers deserve. This used to be a shop I recommended without hesitation. Since Charlie Thomas left, the experience has changed significantly. Unfortunately, after these experiences, my trust in the shop has been seriously damaged, and I am not sure I will be returning. I understand that diagnosing automotive problems can be difficult and that not every repair will solve an issue on the first attempt. What I expect, however, is transparency, accountability, and a willingness to stand behind the work performed when problems arise.
