Hello to everyone in the yelp community. Warning stay away from Tucson Used Auto Sales on 1st and prince. This dealership will scam you all the way until you lose all of your money. Do not fall for the in house financing the owner Dur and his salesman will scam you and they will act like there doing you a favor . They sold me a 2021 Dodge Challenger not until I signed it I found out it was salvage, it's only worth $14,000. The owner is charging me $40,000. Also he his breaking the law it has been 6 months and he will not register the vechile in our name I went to the dealer and he said " don't tell me what to do, I don't care if I'm breaking the law. I bought a 2014 Ford F150 5.0l from them. All they could tell me that it had a cylinder misfire. So figuring that it's a misfire, easy fix right? Wrong!! Took it to a reputable mechanic that I trust and immediately told me it needs a new head considering the valves has holes in them. My mechanic sent them pics of it and this dealership pretty much told me to fuck off!! When I signed paperwork, i agreed to a per cylinder misfire, not a new head. Very disappointed. Purchased a vehicle there, paid cash and took over 3 months for them to send me my title. After 2 months I started calling and kept getting the run around, saying I need to talk to someone else and they're not in. No-one ever returned a call. Finally, on the 88th day they promised to send it. the temporary tag was about to expire. Said they would send it over night, 2 days later I get the tracking number and it showed it was just created. They think people are stupid and won't check. Finally received the title on the 92nd day and went and registered it and to my surprise I had to pay $479.98 more (late penalty from MVD) than I should have because the sale was over 90 days ago. I would suggest if you purchase from them and pay cash, don't leave without title in have or it will cost farther down the road. Oh and I won't mention the check engine light. read more

DEALING WITH TUCSON USED AUTO SALES HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!! THIS COMPANY IS A BIG RIP OFF!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! On Wednesday (7-29-2020) we went to look at a Dodge Journey at Tucson Used Auto Sales. We worked out a price and a deal for some repairs to be made. The vehicle needed a new battery, new alternator and 2 new struts. On Thursday we went back to pay for the vehicle in full. We were told the repairs would be done by Friday. I told them we could give them until Saturday so the repairs would be done correctly. On Saturday, late afternoon, we went to pick up the car. We were told that they were finishing up the repairs. Then we were told that they had received the wrong battery. Then we were told that the struts hadn't arrived because they were special order but everything would be done by Tuesday. By this time I was so upset I was ready to stop the deal. They gave us a loaner car since we had no transportation, along with alot of apologies. On Tuesday we called and the car still wasn't fixed. We were assured that Gina would personally bring the car to us Wednesday morning. Wednesday morning came and went. And each time we called we were assured she was on her way! By 2:45pm she still had NOT come with the car. She finally arrived at about 4:30pm. After almost a month they kept giving us the run-around about giving us the title to the car! I spoke to MVD and they said they can't do anything unless we have a title or a "title transfer bill of sale" from the dealer. My husband went to their office and they wouldn't fill out the title transfer because they "don't have a notary". When I spoke with MVD yesterday (8-21-2020), MVD says they have no record of this vehicle in their system and we don't own the car so they can't title it in our name!!   On Thursday my husband was told by Desiree that the title was in Phoenix and that it would be here in Tucson by Friday. On Friday he went over and she told him it hadn't arrived but it would definitely be there Saturday, that the dealer in Phoenix was on his way with it. On Saturday he was told that he hadn't come down yet but was on his way! On Sunday (AGAIN ... NO TITLE!!) he was told it hadn't been brought down yet but that the owner was delivering a car up to Phoenix and would bring the title back with him and it would be in Tucson Monday by noon!! Finally, On Aug. 24, the title was here in Tucson. The date showed that they had just gotten them title that morning!! That means that the "owner" in Tucson was at MVD or the third party to get us our title Monday morning!! Many reviews on Facebook, Yelp, Google, have people complaining about these same types of issues This company is unscrupulous and this is a warning to all ... STAY AWAY! I would give negative stars if I could. We bought a 2008 Ford F-450 on October 14. The tires were a death trap, so we wanted them replaced. They couldn't find new tires, so put used tires on it while they ordered new tires. We made arrangements to bring the truck back in on October 19 for the new tires. On October 17 the truck broke down 25 miles outside Tucson. We paid to have it towed the their mechanic on Monday. They towed it to a second mechanic and I had to ask repeatedly where my truck was. Finally got a call late on October 29 that the truck was fixed (turbo hose clamp and something else that made the engine blow oil), and I could pick it up Monday. Discussed the tires with Roman and he said they would be put on and he would call me then. Today, I found out they never even ordered the tires. Now, remember, the truck has been in the shop of their choosing for 2 weeks. And they never ordered the tires. Finally, I was understandably upset and we went into the office. The owner was there and was not helpful at all. He basically called his team idiots and said he found the tires online today but couldn't give me a delivery date. At this point I just took my keys and told them to call me when the tires came in and we would bring the truck in to have them put on. I am not terribly optimistic. They were unable to provide a service record for what was done. The truck is filthy, though we washed it on Saturday before it broke down. Someone dumped a bag of Doritos in the bed of the truck. As we were leaving someone else came in and said the vehicle he bought from them had a bad transmission. Ok. I am getting angry again, so I am stopping there. If you want to buy a broke down vehicle and get your calls ducked, theirs is your place. If you want to actually get quality service and goods for your money, go somewhere else. read more

In Dec of 2020 My sister Betty and I had been looking for a use car for her, lot-to-lot checking out cars. We finally came across this one since it is on a major road that we travel and we thought we would stop in. Julio Carlos and HD we're great to work with. My sister gave HD the specs of what she was looking for and they came up with three vehicles in their system that we would be interested in. HD printed out all the specs on every one of them along with a Carfax which was great we took it home that night and looked over the information. We call back wanting to test drive two cars and they got them ready. Julio went with us on test drive we even took it out on I-10. She ended up with a 2012 Honda CRV very clean really nice vehicle the only thing that they needed to look at was replacing the windshield wipers. Which they did a few weeks down the line after they came in they even put them on and gave us a free wash. The financing with my sister went very smooth HD in financing knew exactly what she was looking for as far as payment and down payment. This was a one-owner car with excellent Carfax information. She felt very comfortable in knowing that it had been taken care of and it was a local Tucson dealership that did the work. Overall our experience with this location dealership was excellent I'm not sure about these other reviews but come on people it's a used car things happen. Do your homework. spoke with cj at tucson used auto sales two weeks ago 05/07 regarding a 2010 toyota tundra. i was advised that i had to have my credit union send a cashiers check for the vehicle to be held (i was going to be driving 6 hours from ca to look at it). my credit union, mountain america credit union sent a $20,000 cashiers check to the business. i was scheduled to arrive on monday 05/17 at 9:00am. i drove down sunday, 05/16 and stayed in an air bnb for the night and arrived at the dealership at 9:30am monday, 05/17. the truck was not there. i asked cj where the truck was and was informed that they were getting gas. nearly an hour went by. the truck pulls in, and was soaking wet, had a broken/shattered passenger mirror on it, tailgate falling off, a newly wrapped exterior (possibly from a recent accident that was not reported to me). the driver seat upholstery that was supposedly fixed, was absolutely not fixed. broken antenna (snapped off). window tint completely peeling off. rear bumper missing cosmetic plastic covering. etc et. all of this is verifiable with pictures. zero coolant or oil!!! cj was very adamant that an oil change was done. there was literally no oil whatsoever or coolant. huge red flag. the vehicle was in such bad condition that i had no choice but to decline filling out any paperwork, or proceeding with it at that time. i asked for the cashiers check back and a letter to give to my credit union. cj stumbled around and said they would mail the check back to my bank that day. as i was leaving, i found out that the dealer had actually cashed my cashiers check the week prior and that it had cleared on friday 05/14 but i had never stepped foot on their property or gave permission prior to 05/17, how could they cash my check the week prior? in addition, it is now friday 05/21 and i have tried to call cj and carlos (the "new" manager) all week with no tracking on the cashiers check still. my credit union advised me that this is now a civil matter and that i am to contact the local police department and hire an attorney as it was nearly $20,000 in cash that has not been returned. i have multiple text messages and call records showing many attempts to reach the dealer to find out where the $20,000 is and why it has not been sent back immediately. no resolve. as of 05/21 at 10:45am, we contacted the tucson police department, and the arizona attorney general. we let tucson auto know this, cj and carlos both said, "we are not worried about our jobs." avoid this place like the plague. take my word for it, i have bought over 6 vehicles from excellent dealerships. this dealer is a scam! after we called over and over and over today, screaming at them to provide tracking, they gave us an invalid tracking #. i will continue to check the tracking # up to this evening and if it does not show movement, i will have to proceed with hiring an attorney. of course, i still have to make sure that their check clears at mountain america before i stop proceeding all legal avenues. tucson used auto sales is disgusting in behvior, ethics, customer service, and morals. do not go here. read more
