Parker Auto has been maintaining my cars for at least 26 years... even back when Mike was doing it out of his garage at home. Trustworthy, quality work. If you have an issue with the job done, take it back to them and they'll fix it. In 26 years, that has only happened once and I was not charged for the fix. Great people. read more

***UPDATE 10-14-26. I filed a complaint with the BBB of Tucson. Parker Automotive said they would agree to pay $904.98 to settle the case as of 09-22-26. Never received one cent from Parker Automotive. This is the type of company you'll be dealing with if choose to do business with them. I filed a Small Claims Court Case against them (CV26-031557-SC) Awaiting the court date as service has been completed on the principal owner. ***UPDATE 09-22-06. I took my car to a different auto repair company and it was determined that the wiring harness had a short and numerous wires needed to be fixed. Problem solved and the A/C has been working great ever since. Totally missed by Parker Automotive. Wasted $1160.16 repair cost. ***Original REVIEW: Terrible. Took my Kia Sorento in for A/C problems 09/09/26. $1.1K later and next day, A/C blowing out hot air again. Installed ECV for A/C Compressor. Then, wants to charge me $237+ for another eval and potentially another $1K in repairs. Extremely disappointed and feel ripped off. So much for Google Reviews and "Community Reputation." ***Answering to Parker Automotive's response to my original complaint above: I have no trust in a company that basically starts quoting more diagnostic charges for a $1K+ paid problem that wasn't fixed and became evident one day later after supposed repairs. The response should have been "Bring it in - we'll take a look." Not, "That will be XXX charge to diagnose it for something else." I'm not even sure the repair Parker Automotive completed was the original problem to begin with. Plenty of refrigerant in the system. read more

My wife and I are on vacation and my 2017 f 150 was acting up. I brought it in to Parker automotive and they did a major diagnostic. They replaced coils and spark plugs. They have a shuttle service so they took me back to my hotel and picked me up when complete the same day. Thank you Kirk and the crew. The place was spotless and they are very professional. read more

We never take our car to the dealer unless it's a warranty issue. When our regular mechanic couldn't take care of our alignment, he recommended Parker Automotive. Ugh, I hate going to new places. Don't trust them--should have trusted our mechanic. We are so glad he told us about Parker Automotive. Not only did they fix the alignment, they checked out the rest of the car and told us about things they could take care of it if wasn't already done. (30,000 mile checkup done by our original mechanic) They were very thorough, thoughtful, professional and just a pleasure to be around. Thank you Parker Automotive! read more

I really want to say the everything was stellar when I brought my car in to have the starter replaced considering I was able to get it fixed the same day. But considering the final price was $1400 to have it replaced I'm not sure I can. Nearly every starter I've found for sale hovered around $100 to $300 but I was quite shocked to find a $650 starter on my bill. I can understand being charged $500 for labor but a 330% markup? In addition to that I was dismayed that the "suggested fixes" were also similarly marked up (much higher than other estimates for the same work). I had asked about the increase in pricing but my concerns were dismissed as "rising costs." I was very happy with the service but if these are the prices you charge I can't see myself coming back for any other repairs. read more

Parker's services two of my cars and have been very happy! The estimates are right on and they are very thorough.

I've been coming to Parker for nearly 10 years. Way back when they were a tiny two car garage. I used to take my Honda to them until it was totaled. I like their new place. It has a section to watch TV. A little kitchenette with a fridge full of bottled water, coffee, tea and a sink. The bathrooms are big and they've got a little table if you want to spread out. If you don't feel like hanging around they've got a courtesy car to drop you off and pick you up. My last visit was interesting. Mr. Parker brought me a tablet with a photo of my car. He showed me what was going on and why it needed to be fixed. That's new and I appreciated it! They generally bring out the part for me to see if there is an issue but I trust them. One time, many many years ago, Chapman Honda said I need X Y and Z fixed and it would be around $2,000. I was still young and new to car maintenance and new to Parker so I took it to them for a second opinion. Parker scoffed, showed me the parts they were talking about and explained why they were fine. I never forgot that and that's why I go to Parker. I never feel they're trying to nickel and dime me. As a female, that is a hard comfort to find. They can be expensive but I feel they're worth every penny. read more

I have been utilizing the surfaces of PARKER AUTOMOTIVE since the days when Mike Parker was operating out of his house. Well over 35 years. I won't take my car anywhere else. I don't take my brand new cars to the dealer unless the item is a warranty item. Everything goes to Parker. Parker and his family are honest and reliable and I trust them. They never try to sell me something I don't need, and even predict when I might need to have a certain service done and what it will cost. If necessary, they will come all the way down to Green Valley where I live and pick up my car, service it, and bring it back to me. While they began by servicing only Hondas, today they service every make, and model that I am aware of whether it's an American car or from another country. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

I was considering purchasing a vehicle from a well known used car dealer on Speedway. Before spending more than $14,000 I decided to take the car to Parker Automotive for a pre-purchase inspection. For less than $100 I saved many thousands of $$$ in potential repairs. They sent me a full report via a web link and when I asked for their recommendation, they explained the issues and advised against purchasing the vehicle. Thank you Parker Automotive! read more

Another five star review of Parker! In addition to great service and friendly staff, they've added a new 'Digital Inspection' report where they send you a full report of your vehicle via text. You can clearly see your vehicle's health in an easy to read format. The report color codes issues in terms of safety and importance. I love the transparency and honesty that Scott, Ryan, and team continue to provide customers with! read more

What more can I say about Parker Automotive. Been using them for decades. Smooth auto intake and explanation of the repairs. They do not try to "find" things to repair. They repair what you bring your car in for. I will continue to go to them for all my auto repairs. Thanks Mike Parker and your team at Parker Automotive. read more

5 Stars because it truly is worth the 5 stars!! Loved everything about it the place. Professional, friendly, on time, helpful, explain things in a helpful way, answers all of my questions, understanding of my situations (as I'm traveling in and out Tucson) and all around great service. I've brought two cars to them! There was a small problem following a repair and they fixed it right up same day. I won't say more in fear of sounding fake but they have the best customer service too!! read more

I am new to town and Parker was near my house. Upon first impression I found the prices high but the people very kind, and very professional, so I figured "you get what you pay for" and tried them out. After a couple very high priced diagnostics I was surprised when they quoted me $1800! because one of my tie rods was rusted stiff and they were unable to do an alignment because of it. Parker said I needed to replace my whole steering rack to deal with the oxidized tie rod. Luckily I decided to get a second opinion and took my truck to another smaller mechanic/Garage. They replaced both tie rods and did the alignment without a hitch for 700$ and didn't touch the steering rack. This experience made me very skeptical of Parker, perhaps it was a miscommunication or a mistake but I'm glad I followed my gut on this one. read more

They're the BEST! Recommended by a family friend a year ago, I was told they're honest & trustworthy, which unfortunately can not be said for many automotive repair places. Parker gives you a list; here are the urgent must-do items (if any), the "these can wait" items, and here's what's good on your vehicle. They provided an online report WITH photos so I could see for myself since I had to be at work. I'll definitely be back! read more

Mike runs a great shop. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and quality auto repair facility.

This is a go-to shop in Tucson! Honest and expert, fair prices and great customer service too ! Thank you Ryan !! read more

Honest and professional group. They communicate clearly on the cost and the work that needs to be done!

I'm originally from California, so as I drove into Tucson for a long weekend, of course my oil change light went on. Not knowing any mechanics in the area I did what a lot of us do, look on YELP! Come to find this place. Scott was very welcoming and honest. It's really cool how they use technology to show you all that your car needs. I went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation and came out with a complete diagnostic report of my car. I return to California, share the information with my original mechanic who tells me that my car will need the things that Scott told me I needed soon. I never felt pressured to do any of the extra things they recommend for this reason, I would definitely return! read more

A scam of an automotive repair group. They have a great showroom and seem to be very diligent about interviewing you about repairs. I booked an appointment for my truck to give to my daughter who's 16. I've maintained this truck for years well kept recording. but with life found myself having to let somebody else do some general maintenance. I had them do about $1000 in general upkeep rear brakes (disc) $279 oil change higher mileage $99 brake flush and valve seal gasket. And diagnostic. Two days later broken oil pan 6 quarts of oil on floor . Brake s squealing missing spare (which was the first and only thing they called me on immediately) funny because the key lock was as untouched and I had just replaced five tires. Tire on truck is under bed. Had to take truck to another shop because of urgency and timeframe that parker would fit me in. They made me feel I was in the wrong. The second shop removed rear tires and found 1/2 used pads. The oil pan had been hit with a impact on all bolts and I now had a cracked oil pan. Tested my master cylinder (remember brake flush) never changed. Call d and informed Parker and they said they wouldn't pay for repairs done by others. I had no option but to have my truck repaired by others and will never return. I understand there policy and am not suing them nor do I want any compensation, however, I will never let them touch the vehicle my daughter has to rely on so they can cover there end. read more

My 2007 Honda Fit is still running strong thanks to the maintenance service I have received from Parker Automotive. My last repair was for a motor mount that wore out due to age. The part was ordered and I made my service appointment within a couple of days of calling. I've never had to return to Parker to fix an error they made or replace a defective part. My only "complaint" is that they only allow use of 2 $25 reward certificates on a single visit. read more

Went to get my oil changed today. I dropped off my 2012 F150 with only 60K Miles on it. An hour after I dropped it off, someone calls me from the shop and says that some fluids need to be flushed. At 60K Miles, I need: Power Steering Fluid Flush(more about this in a minute) Radiator Fluid Flush Brake Fluid Flush Transmission Fluid Flush I ask the service advisor about the power steering fluid, he says "yeah, I am looking at the sample right now, and its quite dirty".Then I tell the service advisor, that my truck DOES NOT HAVE HYDRAULIC POWER STEERING!!! After an awkward pause, he puts me on hold and comes back a minute later to tell me that he has my sample panel mixed up with another vehicle and while I do not need a power steering service, after all, the other fluids are recommended to be changed. I told him no thanks and just change the oil. I go to pick up the truck at lunchtime, and the guy I have been doing business with for 6 years, greets me and rings me up. He says he heard about what happened, but still defended the guy's service recommendations. Apparently, even though Ford says my radiator fluid lasts 100K miles, this automotive center disagrees. Long story short, my neighbor is a good guy, but he is working for some crooks. I wonder how many people they have had in the past half-decade since electric-assist steering has become the norm. I will never be back to Parker Automotive on Speedway and Rosemont and I suggest no one else go there. read more

Everyone is really nice here. The lobby and restrooms are super nice also. They did not tell me I needed rotors like the previous automotive shop so my cost was less than expected. They also printed out all of the things my car needs and I was aware of all of them already so they did not try to suggest services that weren't needed. I definitely recommend Parker to anyone with an Acura because their lobby is honestly so nice and the bathrooms are nice too. I think their cost is a little less than some other places too but if not then definitely comparable. read more

These guys rock, dropped my car off, they dropped me back off at my house and picked me up when it was done, told me everything that was wrong and sent pictures, and a whole spread sheet of things that are working and aren't working! Definitely my new spot here in Tucson. read more

The service here is excellent. You get better quality work for a fraction of the price of a dealership, and it typically comes with a warranty. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else in Tucson. I took my car in for a recall at Lexus and they told me that my front brakes were very low, and quoted me close to $700 and also warned me of a bad cabin filter. But that was all that they told me was going on with my car. Parker Automotive not only provided me with the same type of repair, but also did it in a timely manner and it was a joy to work with them. On top of everything else, there were a number of other things going on with my car that I wouldn't have known otherwise (my rear brakes were just as bad as the front, gas leaks, etc...) Car issues can be frustrating and costly but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't be grateful when we know about them so we can make a plan for the future. This is a zero pressure type of place, so the more you know the better. When all was said and done, the cherry on top was they washed my car before returning it back to me! 100% the place to go. Thanks guys! read more

I took my vehicle to Parker Automotive based on a recommendation from a family member. Ryan took the time to make sure I understood every aspect of the service visit and even offered to wash my car after the repairs were completed. He also informed me of their loyalty program that smartly incentivizes customers to regularly maintenance their vehicles via service credits. I'm happy to have found these guys and would readily recommend them to anyone in need of a mechanic. read more

Scott and his team are very knowledgeable and helpful. They will give you the run down on your vehicle in order of priority and work with you to get things done over time. Trustworthy, skilled, courteous. The best auto repair shop I have ever encountered anywhere.

Service is top-notch! Detailed Information to make an informed decision. Servicing what's needed and nothing more. Check in and Check out times were convenient. I had two years of free service at the dealer with the new purchase and I honestly couldn't wait until the free service was over. Every time I went in it took half a day, even for the simplest of services. Not the case at Parkers... Thank you! See you in 5k. read more

I am very disappointed in Parker Automotive. They gave me a recommendation to to have my car detailed. I had an appointment but when I got there the place was locked up. I finally called and was told that the owner had to take another customer home. He showed up within minutes. This was 40 minutes later. When I told Parker all they did was make excuses for the owner. I felt like it was my fault that I thought this recommendation was a poor reflection on Parker Automotive and that I would not be asking them for recommendations in the future. I also had another negative experience with them. I had taken my car in to have a free oil change and it was suggested that I have some work done. The cost Parker quoted was much more. When I told about this I was told it was because they were going to flush out the fluids and replace all of them. I found out that on my model car these particular fluids should not be replaced. In fact replacing them could cause problems. read more

I took my car in to Parker Automotive last week for service and once again was extremely pleased with the customer service, quality and expertise of the handling and repairing of my vehicle in a timely manner. I am so elated that I've finally found mechanics who listen and know what they're doing the first time around, which saves me time and money. I used their shuttle service which was a pleasant and enjoyable experience as well. Their facility is bright and clean where coffee, tea and cold water is served while you wait, but the best part of this facility is the members of this family owned business. They really know how to treat each and every one of their customers. If you're looking for great mechanics and good people, try Parker Automotive, you won't be disappointed. read more

My mother has been going to Parkers for years for her Camry. I have brought my Civic in several times and they always do good, fairly priced work and it is always done on time and with a smile. This is a great place to bring your car. I recently went to Buck's and was screwed. Over $200 dollars for a battery and an oil change at Buck's with no inspection of any of the other systems in my car is resulting in $1600 worth of repairs from Parkers. I got a quote and was able to research and confirm I am getting all of my money's worth from Parkers. DO NOT go to Buck's. Parker's is great and I would recommend it to anyone. I went somewhere else and I am literally paying for it. read more

This place used to be great. However, in recent years I have watched the prices go up, while the customer service, advisor(s), technician knowledge/skill, and accuracy of diagnostic equipment have deteriorated. I am no longer recommending them. read more

INCREDULOUS that this business found extra work to do on my son's truck yet did NOTHING re the fact that they admit there was no oil on the dipstick when they got it--from another mechanic who took it there, NOT from my son who never knew it was going to end up at Parker. He was confused when Parker called a few days after he had left his truck elsewhere and was told what it would cost to either get his truck repaired or to get it back after paying for diagnostics. His policemen brothers told him he had no obligation to Parker, but C. decided it needed to be fixed so let them. When it was to be ready (timing belt) they said they had found something else wrong so it wouldn't be ready until Monday. That day I went with C. because I was going to have to pay with my credit card--but they said they had found something more wrong so it would be a couple more days. I went to get it 2 days later and paid over $3k. About 2 months later I noticed oil JUGS in the recycling bin and C. told me his truck was going through oil. So I stopped in at Parker Automotive. Man there couldn't find the truck under either my name or my son's, but finally found it under the other mechanic's name. He then TOLD ME that when the truck was taken to them it had NO OIL on the dipstick! Yet besides the timing belt they found 2 OTHER problems they (supposedly) fixed while ignoring the lack of oil in the truck! So now C's truck is in much worse condition than when Parker had it and found OTHER work to do on it, and the guy at Parker blew me off totally when I pointed out the inequity of this. read more
