I took my 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche to Next Gen Automotive to have a reoccurring issue troubleshot. I had taken my car to Quebueduex four times and they continued to replace parts but soon after I would leave the issue would come back hours later. I received a recommendation from a friend to take my vehicle here. After the weekend I was called back, and the issues was explained to me. I appreciated the honest feedback. And to top it off after taking 2 days on troubleshooting and diagnosis they called me and advised me of no charge. My husband and I were on our way to northern Arizona passing through Tucson with over 100 degrees when our Dodge 2500 air conditioning went out. We were referred to Next Generation by a friend. We called and Charlene answered the phone. We explained our situation and she was most accommodating. She told us to bring in our truck and they would call us with the diagnosis. We had a suspicion that the problem was the AC compressor went out. Later that same afternoon, Charlene called to confirm our suspicion. We explained that we needed the truck in three days to move on to our next location. To our surprise, Charlene called the next morning to report that the truck repairs were completed. I cannot thank Truth and his team enough for the work done on my son's truck. We got an estimate elsewhere and was given a long, expensive list of items needing work. I took it here and got an estimate within a few hours of dropping it off. It was not only reasonable, but was told what would and wouldn't make sense doing given the age and wear and tear. The vehicle was done by the time school was out and is driving perfectly. On more than one occasion they've gotten me in same day for something that couldn't wait and would have left me stranded without a car. They are always friendly, knowledgeable, honest and professional. Multiple times, they have checked my car when I was worried about something and said it was fine. Went in for brakes because I knew from past experience I could trust them to do what was right by my car. Jared came in to the waiting area after about 45 minutes to tell me I did not need brakes. He inspected the brakes, front and rear, and test drove the car to make sure. How many places can you name that would do that? How many places can you name that would have replaced the pads anyway? Truth and Jared are the Owner/Technicians that are ASE Certified, honest and friendly. We have had numerous repairs from small to large on new and really old cars and so far things have gone well. No go backs and their prices are reasonable. They also have a sense of fairness and accommodation that is not often seen in business. Truth and Jared (owners and mechanics) are honest, hardworking, and knowledgeable. We have been taking our cars to them for YEARS and have recommended many friends to them. No one has ever left their shop displeased--quite the opposite...the guys do not inflate prices or find "another issue" with your car. Their turnaround time is extremely reasonable --often the same day. I would never, ever take my car to any other mechanic. I trust Truth and Jared. I am a young female who is overly skeptical of car mechanics. After coming back from the Peace Corps, I was ripped off by a lot of auto shops since 1) I don't know much about cars except the basics and 2)auto shops took advantage of this. I tried place after place and spent thousands. About 4 years ago and a year after I returned, my grandmother told me about Next Generation since she literally lives right by them. I was worried at first when one didn't know what the current problem was. I then realized that the mechanic was honest and didn't try selling me something I didn't need and was able to admit that he wasn't sure; that itself is a virtue. But since then, they took great care of my car, and I've realized they are more knowledgeable and honest than any place I've been (probably even more than many ex-boyfriends). As well as fix every problem, they've given great advice. What I like about this place is the complete honesty and trust I have in them. They won't try to sell me things I don't need, and they give good and honest prices. I've saved thousands with them. They have also gone above and beyond. I don't want to mention the ways they've gone above and beyond, because I don't want you to expect the same exact things to happen to you if I list them in detail. This is the only auto shop that I've ever trusted. I'm moving to Colorado and wish I could clone them to have them as my go-to shop there. read more
