They kept my vehicle for two days and charged me for a diagnostic. However, the report they provided states there were no active, pending, or history transmission codes, the technician could not duplicate the concern, and no issues were detected while monitoring live transmission data during the road test. The only documented finding was that a small sample of transmission fluid appeared dark and burnt. From there, the technician wrote that they believed it could be an internal transmission issue and recommended replacing the entire transmission. What is missing from the report is just as important as what is included. There is no documentation that the transmission had failed, no confirmation of internal damage, no evidence of metal shavings or clutch material, no hydraulic pressure testing, no testing confirming a failed torque converter, and no objective evidence supporting such a major repair recommendation. I later discovered that Integrity Automotive & Diesel does not have the manufacturer-specific diagnostic equipment needed to fully diagnose an Infiniti transmission. Had they been honest about that from the beginning, I would have taken my vehicle to a shop that could properly diagnose it instead of paying for an opinion. To make matters worse, this opinion was reported to Carfax, creating a record based on a diagnosis that was never confirmed through testing. Integrity is built on honesty, transparency, and evidence. Based on my experience, I did not receive those things. I expected a diagnosis supported by facts--not assumptions. I cannot recommend this shop.

If the name of your business boldly implies how you treat your customers, you best do it & they do! Their quotes are fair, yet comprehensive, their attitude is (you guessed it) friendly and their work is prompt and well done. What more could you ask for? This year on Yelp I want to find all the good businesses in the area and highlight them and Friendly Automotive is one of the first that came to mind. Find them off of Ina Road, not too far from I-10. They're tucked into a hodge podge of small businesses. In business for 25 years in Arizona and take care of all makes & models of cars. Don't you wish all businesses were named for how they treat their clients? Life would be so easy. TLDR: Honest, friendly, stress free auto repair at fair price. Family yowned for 25 years.

Apparently, too busy just to let me know when they would get to my car. I called at 2:30 and was told they were backed up from day before, yet they didn't tell me that when I left my car this morning. They said they would call me in an hour to hour and a half to let me know what was going on. 4 pm came, no call. I called back. I was upset because they had my car ALL day. The guy said he was sorry and they were busy. Terrible customer service. He had an attitude. I would not recommend this place of business to anyone! I arrived, was waited on and sat for two hours waiting for my car. Josh came over at about 1530 and told me my car was all good. I said "really?...the battery was checked, hoses etc"? (I noted my car was sitting where I could see it almost the whole time I was waiting...) Yep all checked, and good to go -I was told. I asked Josh what I owed....nothing. Also no paperwork to show what had been done. I trust the car professionals to do the right thing. My battery died in Mexico, and when the lovely people at Autozone in Guayamas popped the cover off my battery, the enclosed pictures are what I saw. I was FURIOUS. On what planet is THAT BATTERY in acceptable condition. I get back from Mexico and go to Firestone to ask WTF. Josh was there and I showed him the photos, and watched him tap dance around their procedures. I said " My concern...Josh...is either some one did not check the battery at all, and I was lied to, or there is a service person who is quite inept at his or her job. This was not a mistake........this was a decision" Josh finally acknowledged the battery was not in good working order....and....offered me .....a free oil change my next visit. A free oil change. There will be no next visit. My relationship with Firestone has gone bad....just like the battery they said was good to go.

Well, being from Vail Arizona and going to northern Tucson via I-10 to find an honest mechanic emblazoned my mind in very limited possibilities. Then, to drive up to a property on old La Cholla blvd not having quite reached the much improved part of town was another suspicious pre-conclusion. Even worse, half the lot was a used car sales lot and the other was Honest Auto Repair... However, I WAS WRONG WRONG WRONG. Then, the truth started growing: Clean office with a very helpful person at the front desk. Clearly informed me what the costs will be. Quickly took my vehicle to the unseen garage. Came back and told be the approximate time to repair. Listened to the outside calls to the office. Listened more than talked. (For the most part!) Family run business. Same owner for both businesses. Researched very high public ratings. (check it out yourself) Included a very nice surprise for active and retired military. Well now it's a WIN WIN WIN. Best surprise of it all?
