Carlos saw that I rode in on a donut tire and got me in quickly. After my tire was replaced Sean educated me that they checked my other 3 tires and wanted to just let me know that they were getting close to bald. Sean mentioned a buy 3 get 1 free deal for new tires. At first I wanted just the one but he gave me an estimate of the mileage left on my other tires and I felt like his idea was out of the best interest of my vehicle; not like how other places throw random things like air filter and windshield wiper replacement for a gouged price. I have been using Firestone for years, and despite a few hiccups...trusted them. I had a dive trip planned to San Carlos Mexico, so I took time off work to make sure my car was ready for the trip. I made an appointment on July 10th @1300 to get my car checked. I arrived, was waited on and sat for two hours waiting for my car. Josh came over at about 1530 and told me my car was all good. I said "really?...the battery was checked, hoses etc"? (I noted my car was sitting where I could see it almost the whole time I was waiting...) Yep all checked, and good to go -I was told. I asked Josh what I owed....nothing. Also no paperwork to show what had been done. I trust the car professionals to do the right thing. My battery died in Mexico, and when the lovely people at Autozone in Guayamas popped the cover off my battery, the enclosed pictures are what I saw. I was FURIOUS. On what planet is THAT BATTERY in acceptable condition. I get back from Mexico and go to Firestone to ask WTF. Josh was there and I showed him the photos, and watched him tap dance around their procedures. I said " My concern...Josh...is either some one did not check the battery at all, and I was lied to, or there is a service person who is quite inept at his or her job. This was not a mistake........this was a decision" Josh finally acknowledged the battery was not in good working order....and....offered me .....a free oil change my next visit. A free oil change. There will be no next visit. My relationship with Firestone has gone bad....just like the battery they said was good to go. read more

Went in to get a fussy starter replaced. Their guys broke my battery and pretended it came in that way--car wouldn't even start when I went to leave. They told me they didn't run any diagnostics, but they still turned off the check engine light. I told the guy I wanted to escalate this to the person in charge and he pulled the whole "I am the manager." line knowing good and well I meant was to report this incident to a Firestone. He said he wouldn't replace the damaged battery and it came in that way. At no point prior to me popping the hood did he tell me the battery was physically damaged. The whole vibe I got was he was hoping I left the parking lot before I noticed. I've got an audio message from him and I recorded him when I went in for pickup. In both he said the battery was bad, but never that it was physically damaged. I filed a claim with my insurance and I'll let them handle it from here. Took a photo of the pin in the battery so you can judge for yourself. (To me it looks like they removed the terminal by wiggling it off instead of loosening the locking bolt--when it came time to put it back on --they struck it with something a few times breaking the plastic in the process) read more

Had a flat tire on the freeway and arrived at Firestone at 7:00 am. The tire was punctured and completely ruined. The manager told us that it would be a bit of a wait. Each visit involves a full inspection with recommended maintenance for future budgeting. Never pressed to perform extra service. Although a national brand, each location has own character. I like this location. Josh is new service manager with years of experience as tech mechanic and 4 ASE certifications. Takes time to explain in layman terms all the mechanical operations along with clear quote for services before work completed. Handles difficult customers well and their tempers. Some customers have a bad attitude and looking for a scapegoat. Not easy to work in a skilled job and juggle customer service. I went to Firestone today on Ina and Thornydale for an oil change, tire rotation,brake inspection and wiper blades. I went to leave and noticed that the tires weren't rotated nor taken off for the brake inspection. They pulled my truck back in for the rotation. I got home and inspected my vehicle to find that the oil and filter was never changed but they did reset my oil change reminder. The only thing that was done correctly was the wiper blades. So lucky me I had gotten my nails done in the complex of this Firestone. Got into my car and it doesn't start. I'm like ok I'll go to autozone get a new battery and hopefully that's all it is.... NOPE! sadly my Buick needed more care than that. I didn't want to tow it to a place when there was a Firestone right next door so I asked them to help me out and they went above and beyond they literally pushed my SUV into their center and called me a couple hours after to tell me my starter was toast. So they quoted me 600$ for parts and labor and they almost got it done that same day!! But they needed an O ring from the dealer which took it until today but they got it all ready for me by 1pm which I truly think is amazing! Highly recommend this place the staff is friendly and attentive and they truly are fast and quality work! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they literally PUSHED MY CAR to get it serviced what great gentleman and yes being a woman I was hesitant about being pushed to get more done but they didn't they just told me I'll need some stuff down the line. read more

FIRESTONE ARE STILL FRAUDULENT SCAMMERS! BE CAUTIOUS! If they had a negative option I sure would select it instead of one star. They don't deserve even that! So vehicle was dropped off and requested a diagnostic cause vehicle would lose power and not start up again. received a call 5 days later that "the vehicle was done 4 days ago are you going to come get it?" That's the first call we received from them. So the issue was a alternator, they took it upon themselves to just put a new one in and change out a wire without asking if it was ok or if we wanted to do that. I don't know of any place that just does repairs without permission from owner, or rubbing it by them first. $800 is what their charging. So I guess $400 in labor and storage fees. So they finish the vehicle hold it for multiple days after it's done before calling owner then tell them sorry we didn't call you but you owe us for those days days it sat here in our way and didn't cone get it! I'm so angry with these scumbags! they haven't changed at all still scamming everyone every which way they can! Integrity automotive less than a mile down the road are a much better option. I hear they're fixing firestones mishaps constantly anyway, and they are much more on the customers side than these F*^*S, they keep you informed of everything going on every step of the way and make sure that their doing what the customer wants instead of trying to bankrupt you. read more

So done with this location. Numerous bad experiences. I have patronized this locations many times and almost every time I was disappointed. First interaction was for an alignment on one of my vehicles on a Sunday. I made an online appointment online on Friday before. Drove from Picture Rocks to there only to be told "Sorry my alignment guy is out today, but I can reschedule for another". No call prior to let me know of this. Next case, finally had the alignment done vehicle still steered to the right. No point in even at that point wasting my time coming back. Another experience, went in for a tire balance for my second vehicle along with new rotors and brakes. Tech Simon told me they had more than less than half life. I picked my vehicle up not only was my steering wheel still bouncing but my front driver side brake was squeaking every time I came to a stop and a grinding noise was coming to grinding sounds once at a full stop. I brought it back and was told something was caught in between the brake and rotor. Fixed that but guess what the grinding sound from my rotor was still there. I brought it back AGAIN. They took over a few hours to see why only to tell me after waiting there "oh it's because of the size of your tires". Before I had new tires from a tire shop on my old brakes & rotors never made a sound. A poor excuse for using cheap parts. I took a test drive with a tech who could careless about the problem based on his demeanor. He makes a sharp u-turn my tires scrubbed so loud when locked. He could care less and gave me the same piss poor excuse as to why the noise occurred. I owned my Jeep over 6 years no issue with the rotors scrubbing. Between these past few occasions I have had to miss work, get an Uber to and from work a few times between rounding up to well over $100. Store rep Rich told me he would cover the cost for Uber only then to tell me over the phone we'd call it even to rebalance the tires that were supposed to be balanced to begin with. Latest experience, took my other Jeep in for the a/c to blow cold from it only blowing hot air. Tech told me over the phone the pressure was fine but needed to be recharged to blow cold. Immediately when I drove it home within 20 minutes the needle on the temp gauge wen over half which it never did. I didn't pay it any mind. Drove it to and from work over the course of the next couple days same problem. As of today when I'm posting this review earlier in the day I'm driving with my 2 toddlers on a 107 degree day down the freeway and it begin to overheat and my a/c went out causing my kids to sweat like I've never seen before. I pulled over to a Walmart parking lot to let it cool down. This was the last straw, I called a Pep Boys further down the road from this location to bring my Jeep in since it was already running hot and they were the closet shop to me at that time. I dropped it off and after 20 minutes the tech at Pep Boys advised me the thermostat housing was cracked and had indications of damage. In other words when Firestone charged my a/c the tech banged something most likely a tool or other part against it which I'm sure they were aware of. Based on the placements of the 2 within being so close to each other it makes sense why the overheating began after Firestone worked on it. Paid Pep Boys $306 to repair. I didn't even bother calling Firestone to dispute this due to their incompetence and unwillingness to correctly fix past issues. Filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and writing a letter to corporate. Enough is enough. read more

Went to Firestone for a suspected battery problem. I was received cordially, problem discussed, estimate given for time and cost involved. Although this was a Sunday afternoon, it looked like the place was fully functional and not just running on a skeleton crew. They helped me out much quicker than expected, diagnosed the problem, made straightforward recommendations and gave my car a complimentary inspection including that of tires and did a top-up of fluids. I have been in a few times to this location for both repairs and maintenance. Steven has helped me out several times. The employees here are trustworthy and honest. I even had a camber adjusted replaced that didn't fix the alignment, so the service was free. I never feel pressured to be upsold here which is a huge plus. The service advisors simply give you suggestions and are able to advise you to the more urgent issues vs those that may be able to be put off. Overall, very positive experience here. The quality of work is top notch, keeping my old 4Runner running well into the hundreds of thousands of miles. read more

We had to replace a tire shortly after (5K on the car) buying this car and had put a Firestone replacement that held up way better than the crappy factory tires. Took my car in because the car would take a while to start. The technician told me it was a starter issue and quoted me $400 for a replacement of the starter. Issue persisted and had to take it to Honda. Honda ran their diagnostic tool and told me it was a battery issue. I spent $400 to replace something that didn't need to be replaced. This review is based on a one-time service visit back on 23-24 JUN 16. BACKGROUND: I was passing through Tucson on a Thursday evening headed towards Sierra Vista. Clutch failed. Stranded for two hours waiting for tow truck. Frantically called around as it was nearing 1900 and local shops were starting to close. Called up Firestone with 30 minutes till closing and they said bring it in. On the way there, tow truck driver praised this place so I felt good. OUTCOME: A guy named "DAVID" helped me out. He took the time to listen and understand my situation. David decided to help me out despite closing within 15-20 minutes which I really appreciated (all other shops turned me away). The work took him and the team beyond closing time and they did their very best to attempt to fix the problem. In the end, they were able to identify the problem but couldn't find the appropriate part (shops that had them were now closed) to replace a critical component. I definitely appreciated the extra time these guys put into my car and trying to help me out. Talk about going 110%! I truly felt like David and his team had genuine concern for getting me back on the road so that I could make it back home and I could not have asked for more. During this time, he provided periodic updates so that I knew exactly what was going on. THIS is true, quality service -- definitely a golden model ALL shops in the area need to follow. No matter the size of the job, I can guarantee the team over there at Firestone have your interest and satisfaction as their top priority. I commend the staff there and their work ethic. We went here because Brake Masters was taking forever, we were tired of being ripped-off by the dealer and another place, and we wanted their exclusive lifetime 4-wheel alignment. Fantastic! We also decided to get our belts changed and power steering fluid changed on our Honda. The lifetime wheel alignment is good anywhere in the world because they are global so you could go to Firestone in Mexico or California if necessary. Especially great if you're military and moving around a lot. They're the only one's open on Sunday and open from 7am-6pm on Saturdays. Their employees are not paid on commission like the dealer or Brake Max therefore they won't try to make you do work you don't need. I love how it's hidden from view and located next to the Tucson Mall so you can have somewhere to comfortably be while they work on your car. They're waiting room and restrooms are clean and quiet, too. They discovered while working on our car that it needed an engine mount replaced which was really in need of replacing. And let us look at and keep the old part. We got it done because we don't want our engine falling-off the car. Overall fantastic. Only downside is they're not an American company, they're Japanese owned by Bridgestone. But we could care less because we're poor and need to save time and $. read more

I've been here a few times for different services. The first time I brought my car in, I expressed worry that the problem may not have been initially fixed, and one of the employees agreed to drive behind me for awhile and allow me to test it. In the end, it ended up being a very rare/bizarre problem but it got taken care of. Today, I brought it in for a really minor problem with the front panel, and they quickly fixed it for no charge. I've always been fairly charged for any problems, and will not only continue to bring my cars to be serviced here, but highly recommend this location to anybody who has car trouble. read more

Fraud Alert! This place is dishonest and will rip you off! STAY AWAY! Went in for brake pads. I was told that I needed rotors also. My Rav4 has fewer than 40,000 miles, and I need rotors according to their mechanic. I paid for pads and rotors. Following their brake job, I would hear metal rattling around the front tires whenever I drove over a bump in the road. But, if I applied the brakes, the noise stopped. So I called Fraudstone, oops, Firestone to schedule a time for them to check it out. I bring my car in and explain the situation. After a road check, I'm told that they hear the noise but that everything that their mechanic touched during the brake job was done right and that they don't know what is causing the noise. So, I took my car to Toyota. Toyota asked me where I had my brakes done and that I did not need rotors. It turned out that Fraudstone had used brake pads not meant for my car AND their mechanic did not put back the part that keeps the pads securely in place because the part wouldn't fit due to the wrong pads that were used! Since the part was not there, the brake pads would rattle, causing the noise. This means that the Fraudstone mechanic knew that the part did not fit, yet sent me off with anyway. I returned to Fraudstone to get my money back. I did get my money back. There are many choices available for car service, this place is not one of them!! read more

I asked him MULTIPLE times to make sure the wheel locks get put on my new wheels, he was too busy on his computer and phone to listen to what i needed. hopped in my truck and shocker, the wheel locks are still in the package. wouldn't be writing this if this was the only time, but this has happened twice now. they just don't listen to what you need.. head to discount muffler down the road, they will actually listen and take care of you. won't be returning here ! read more
