I've been here 3 times now since moving to the area and can definitely say I'm a fan! I typically call ahead to see if they can take me as I only live about 5 minutes away. While they are always busy when I am there, I have never had to wait more than about 5 minutes. My only complaint is that I wish the massages for the pedicures were longer and firmer. Otherwise, I am very happy to have found this salon. I will be back! read more

I made an appointment two days ago. They told me 1 p.m. I even said I was a first time person. It came recommended . I had flexibility. I went with what they had. I came in. They didn't seem to know I was coming. I felt awkward and weird. It wasn't really a friendly greeting. A toddler running around(most adults go to relax..not feel like they are at chuckie cheese). I just sat there. It didn't seem like anyone was available in sight. I just left. No one seemed to care or want my business. It wasn't a great first time at all. I left sad. I made an appointment with my old place 30 minutes from here. I'll gladly drive it. read more

I have been going to Lily's nails for more than 10 years. It's my favorite spot. I only go here. Every time I go somewhere else, my nail breaks or chips and I am never as satisfied as I am when I go here. My mom, my grandma and I go here all the time. You can always walk in, but I always make an appointment with my usual girls - Tina, Nina and Jen; they're the best. The staff there are always welcoming, kind, have a sense of humor & truly takes care of their customers. They have good prices & deals. I recommend this spot to everyone. read more

Been going here for years with my daughter. On today, I experienced what some others have mentioned about being skipped over for other customers. I brought 2 others with me, for manis and pedis. Pedis went fine. When it came time for manis, the older gentleman asked if I would wait 5 mins. Taking him on his word, I agreed. He went on to give another customer a full pedicure. I was unable to get a mani, as the rest of my party was wrapping up their manicures, while I sat waiting over 30 mins. The other customer clearly communicated that she did not have an appointment because she tried to call when the business was closed. After all those years of patronage, no real apology or attempt to make it up to me, at all. To top it off, my pedicure chipped before I made it home!! Not sure that I will ever return. read more

I am new to the area so stopped in for a pedicure this past week. ABSOLUTELY the most lazy pathetic pedicure in my life. I wanted to ask for my tip back. The only thing I enjoyed was the chair. The wait was long but I had an early flight the next morning so I didn't have many options. Waiting is one thing but to have rough heels AFTER is unacceptable. I pointed it out to the lady and she said "OH you have to come back a couple times for us to get that off" I said " In what world". She then commenced to put cuticle oil on my heel as if I wouldn't notice it still was poor work. NEEDLESS to say my dollars and tips will go elsewhere. POOR QUALITY. read more

I made an appointment at 5pm and didn't leave until after 8pm. When I first got their I had to wait till 6pm. They said one of the employees called in sick. Then after I was seated others walked in as well with appointments so they got backed up and everyone was waiting. Since it's Covid I get why they didn't have all available workers but just the same it sucks that they overbooked themselves. I really wanted to pack for my trip that night too but it put me behind and I was too tired and hungry when got home. This was not the first time I had to wait after making an appointment with them either. My toenails turned out great but there are a couple of dents and bubbles in two of my fingernails. I got the dip acrylic set. They are pretty thick too. I don't know... not sure if I will go back or not. It's hard to spend that kind of money and not get full satisfaction. I never want to wait that long and get out so late again as well. I have had ombre hair color appointments easier than this. read more

Lilly nails messed up my nails so bad! The lady took more than 2 hours and I asked for a French chip long nails even showed a picture for reference since I'm sure there was a language barrier . The application was horrible , the filing was horrendous and I was nice enough to pay for the nails when I know I shouldn't have . Never going back to this place EVER AGAIN! This place is my go-to for nails. Between myself and family members we've had our nails and toes painted, and I've regularly gotten acrylics done here. We are always so happy with the service and the care that is shown by the men and women who work here. Never a bad experience. read more

This is a cute, clean nail shop! The prices are reasonable, $35 for a mani/pedi...even on weekends! They have an excellent color selection, pedicure chairs are very comfortable and the staff members are very polite and skilled! My manicure lasted almost a week without chipping. My toes looked great 6 weeks after my pedicure. I can be picky when getting my nails done and Lily Nails does not disappoint! read more

I really do like the staff here but the leader of the team needs to improve her business savy. I was there last Friday for mani and pedi and the girl did a really good job. The only issue is the nail polish on my toes was a different color than the nail polish on my fingers. I decided to not make a fuss about it because the last time that happened the manager wanted me to pay to fix it. That is just horrible business if I tell you I want the same color on both my hands and feet and I give you the color. That is what I expect that's what I'm paying for. If the colors don't match politely apologize and make it right at no cost to me. The manager doesn't agree she thinks I should pay. It's sad because I've spent lots of money there and I tip well and I think the people are very nice. Do the right thing give me what I pay for and when you don't make it right at no inconvenience to me. Basic customer service 101 is all I ask. Also, purchase quality nail polish so the nail color match the toe color. read more

This has become my regular pedi spot! I usually prefer pedicures because I like to do my nails myself and they do an awesome job at handpainted designs. I've never had the same technician twice and the fact that they all do such great art designs is a plus (don't want to have to "book" a certain person). The designs and the pedicure last for weeks and weeks and I always get compliments. My go-to design is a french tip with a flower or other freestyle design. Go here if you want someone to pay close attention to your tootsies and do them perfectly! Quick tip: if you don't have any cash for a tip be sure to tell them to add it to your credit card because once they run it, they cannot run it for the tip again! Odd... read more

Very disappointed to find out that my nail tech over charged me for a no chip fill. I came in for a no chip FILL not a full set and was charged 45$... seemed high but I didn't think twice until I realized I would normally pay 35$ in the city. So I called and asked how much it was for a fill and they told me 40$. I tip very well and I feel that she intentionally overcharge me because she assumed I wasn't going to tip. Clearly there are no business ethics upheld here. so I will be taking my business else where. Double check on the price before getting your nails done. read more

I had a very bad experience coming here. Tina did an amazing job on fixing my nails. She is the best, thanks again Tina and her amazing crew.

Update....I made the mistake of once again, walking into Lily Nails at the end of June for what ended up being a "free to me" pedicure with my best friends gift certificate. They ended up ripping out (TMI here, I'm sure)....two ingrown toe nails on each one of my feet, and for the first time in my life, swelling of one of those two toes due to how harshly they removed it. I had to take a trip to CVS to find Epsom Salt and soak my toes for two days due to the swelling and potential infection. Did I say NEVER again? I believe I did. Favorite nail salon, hands down! Dao is amazing, she filed my white gel down and replaced it with white and pink gel, my nails look fabulous!! The pricing is very good and did I say she did an amazing job?! I will never go to another salon, there is no point when they do such a great job. Tina was doing my friend's nails and she is also wonderful. A+++ Bring Cash tip.. They don't put tips on the credit card purchases. read more

Note to readers this star is actually for the appearance of my friends mani/pedis because mine was awful!! Now my friend is a regular and always gets a no chip mani and a pedi. She knows the gals here and they treat her well. I unfortunately had the bad luck of a male technician and it was horrible! The male that did my toes did an awful paint job. He gave me 4 very sloppy coats of polish after cutting me and hacking my cutticles to a point that even after 4 days I was sore on my big toe and still bleeding. My hands were done by another male tech but still unsatisfied with the service. The paint job was decent but the actual manicure left me with multiple hang nails that were not there when we started the manicure. Overall moral of the story try to sit with a female technician. Preferably per my friend Patty. She does a great job but some of the other employees not so much. I don't usually venture this far for a mani/pedi but thought since I was out there I should give it a shot. The prices are comparable to the city so not any cheaper for being in the burbs and the place is just as clean as any other salon. read more

I go to Lily Nails quite often.. I get a full set every few months and of course the fills. I haven't had a bad experience yet. And i've been going there on and off since they opened. My MIL also goes and gets the gel and loves it. Tina is her favorite. I've probably had all the technicians and they all do a pretty good job. It's a very clean shop but does get quite busy. I would like if they got newer colors in more often or at least switched some out but i still always find one i like! read more

UPDATE: I'm not really understanding the negative reviews. But I guess with every place you will have your star employees and your less than perfect. That being said, I've never had a problem here. The only thing I found unusual was that you have to bring cash for tips cause they don't tip on credit cards. But I read reviews on this place ahead of time and knew that so it wasn't a big deal. Anyways, like I said, I'm rather fond of this place. They do a beautiful job and they take a genuine interest in your service. I first went here when I was pregnant and they gave the BEST pedicure. They draped a towel over my legs (cause I had on a dress) and gave me an extra long massage (much needed being in my third trimester) and even included the spa upgrade free of charge! They really pampered me :) It's like I got a special pre-mommie pedicure for free just cause they knew I really needed some relax time before baby came :) For that I am very grateful and have kept them has part of my top 3 places to go for nail services. I've gone a few times (now with a toddler I rarely get to treat myself) and have still had pleasant experiences. Yes, just like most places they ask if I would like to upgrade to an add-on service or to include another service after my current one. I have NEVER gotten pushed into anything. I let them ask and simply decline and they have no problems with it. They still go on with my service in a professional manner and are very friendly. I would also like to point out that they are willing to admit their mistakes and fix services. I got a no chip once and two of my nails started to chip after 3 days. I simply walked in and showed them what had happened. They were more than happy to fix the damaged ones (remove the old and redo them) and they even checked the other nails to make sure they were good. No charge, no attitude. Just a simply apology and fix. Professional and the way it should be done. This is usually the place I think to go for my nail service now. It's close to home, they do walk-ins, and they are very friendly and professional. All the techs I've had ask me if things are ok as they do their job. The length, they ask before going on just to make sure you are ok with it. They even ask if they are hurting you at all or if you are happy with the way they are painting your nails. They really want to make sure the customer is happy. Happy customers is what keeps the place in business :) The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because it's not a completely relaxing place. If you are looking for a Spa like atmosphere like those high end places you will not find that here. The prices are much more affordable and the quality of service is terrific, especially for the low prices. But the ventilation could be a little better (in the summer they open the doors which helps) and it's a little cramped because the size of their location was just built to be more narrow and deep rather than open and inviting. They have nice big flat screen tvs posted around and they do a nice job on the decor, but I don't walk in feeling relaxed. I just feel like I'm there to get what I need done and leave. I know, not really their fault, that's just the way the building was created and they are just renting out a spot in a good location (high traffic area near a Starbucks, train station, and new homes). But if if the place felt more inviting and relaxing rather than "in and out" I would enjoy the services better. The other place I go to (again higher in price but more inviting and just as good services) offers free water and coffee/espresso/tea. They have one of those machines like a Keurig with a variety of things to choose from as well as nice cups and a mini fridge with special creamers and other things to chose from. They also put out a nice assortment of snacks for their customers (bite size cookies, crackers, fruit, cheese, etc) and they sometimes give out nice sample size gifts around the holidays. Again, more expensive of course, but they also build more of a clientele and a nice relationship with their customers. They remember my name, my daughter, and ask about how my personal life is going and they remember what was going on the last time I saw them. I went there after not seeing them for over a year and they all remembered me and what had been going on in my life the last time they saw me. We caught up with some nice girl time and it was just so much more relaxing to get services from someone that made me feel really important. I know the people at Lily Nails can't do all this without up-charging, but perhaps leaving a pitcher of lemon (or other fruit) infused ice water and a bowl of candy mints would help? It's amazing how much we girls take that stuff into consideration when rating places but all we want is to feel special and to get that little "extra" that shows the owners really care about their customers. I still love this place :) read more

Went here for a french pedicure. When I first walked in they were able to accomodate me right away and set me up with a nice massage chair and warm bubbling foot spa. This was really nice! The place was cute and clean as others have read. A young asian man got me a couple of magazines for me to read while I waited which was very nice of him. I'd have to say he was the friendliest worker in the place. The woman that sat down to do my pedicure started putting on rubber gloves and stared at the TV while doing so. Not ONCE did she even acknowledge me or say "Hello" or make eye contact to me. I thought this was really wierd. I realize maybe she doesn't speak English, but at least look at me, smile and nod your head or something. Anything?! She was rather abrasive at letting me know when to put my feet in the water or up on the towel too. All-in-all the french pedicure did turn-out OK, but I was kind of turned off by the lack of customer service and the fact that my nail tech didn't even say "Hello" to me before she started working on my feet!? I mean, I am sure it's not fun to scrub and stare at people's feet all day, but come on, that's your job. I dunno..... my quest for a really good nail salon thus continues.... read more

So I have been coming here for probably almost 5 years now. I have been a loyal customer that tips well. And the quality has gone down every time I go there. I kept going because it's next to the Starbucks and I can walk there from my house. But I can't go back there anymore. Probably the last 10 times the nails have chipped earlier and earlier. The one I have on now lasted 2 days. They're also getting lazier and lazier they don't do anything with your cuticles they don't put lotion on your hands afterwards They ate face time img people and talking on the phone more and more and completely ignoring what they're doing.. And when they are using the dipping powder they really should be emptying some of the powder into a seprate container instead of putting everyone's hands in there .What if someone had an infection read more

I gave this salon 4 chances and every time was less than satisfactory. My last experience... The tall guy did my nails, when he did my pedicure he did not scrape the cuticle and buildup from on top of my nail. He did not clean under the toenail and he did not buff my toenail. Essentially, he did not create a smooth surface to pain on top of. Additionally, when he cuts the cuticle he does a pulling action not a cutting action w/ the cuticle scissor thing. Ouch! I don't want the cuticle painfully pulled away, I want it precisely cut away. Also when I was getting my pedicure the lady next to me was getting a botch of a paint job. Her summer flower design looked more like cauliflower. It was terrible. I felt bad for her. She disliked it and had the woman take it off. Another artist had to leave her client in the middle of her service to redo the ladies design. Lastly, when we got to the manicure, the guy did not clean the paint up around my finger. I left w paint on my cuticle and the sides of my finger. He sloppily applied the top coat. It didn't even fully cover the base coat underneath. And the "massage" they give sucks. Poof craftsmanship. They just hire anyone, even if they don't have skill. My nail is chipping less than 24 hours after service. read more

Loved my first experience here. Went in with my 4 year old daughter (no babysitter), and they had a fun time giving her a mini manicure while I enjoyed my pedicure. It had been over a year since I had gotten a pedi and the male tech that took care of me helped my feet look soo much better! I have been here two times now. My first experience was on a weekend so I knew it would have been really busy. I and my daughter and friend got pedicures but we never got to get them done at the same time. Sorry but to me that's kinda crappy... but the work was good. My pedicure lasted a month and a half. Same with my kids toes. But today I just was there and I asked how long for a pedicure and they said 10 min I was there at 1135 am and I didn't leave till 1225 that's awful. I wanted to have the experience with my daughter not sit me 4 seats away! And when I went to pay I stood for 5 minutes before anyone said can I help. No I had to tell them myself. I thought this was going to be my new salon but I'll keep looking. read more

Very disappointed. I went here for a manicure & pedicure. The footbath and nail trimming were ok. I knew something was amiss when the nail tech did not buff my toenails. I have been to many different nail salons and this one is the best around. The salon is clean and the products they use are great quality.
