The environment was extremely clean, plastic shields at every station, new tools, and only a couple customers are allowed by appointment only at one time. Between each customer they clean all equipment and everywhere a customer might have touched. When you arrive there is a waiver to sign and a quick temperature check as well. Sadly Luxury failed in this also (see first picture). Everyone was cheerful, polite and solicitous (we were asked by 4 different people if we would like a water). They were fast but i noticed when we were told to sit in the drying area my daughter's toe nails were sprayed with a topical quick dry seal but mine were not (we had the same package). After 10 minutes we left and of course mine smudged. The polish was still gummy so I was able to pat it down and smooth again somewhat (second picture)

My manicure (gel fill with French tips) was also immaculate and done with such little error, I was shocked when she finished and they were perfect. Checked on Yelp for a nearby salon and found Tips2Toes Nail Salon. Aby was recommended by one of my girlfriends and I was able to book an appt on their website last night. Easy and seamless process. Aby is Quick, but very detail oriented and does such a great job listening to what I needed. I highly recommend coming here. It's very nice and clean and the service is fantastic! (Context: I dyed my hair green the night before) I came in…read moreas a walk-in around 5pm, it was pretty quiet room with Fox News playing on the tv, and a woman getting a pedicure. One of the employees greeted me and asked what I needed/wanted to get done. I showed him my nails, with a faint green tint, and said I needed to have this fixed as much as they could. I'm not allowed to wear nail polish at work, so I just requested a clear polish that I could easily take off. We didn't say much, but he shaped up my nails nicely, and someone else took over when she was done with her previous customer. They both cleaned my nails gently and they look great. I've had many experiences at other establishments where they are rough with my cuticles, got acetone in my splits by my fingers (which burns really bad), and a very rushed services which make me really anxious. I was very grateful they were gentle with the service. I was really looking for a basic cleanup with some acetone, but they did a really nice manicure with a soft hand massage as well. This was about 25 minutes and was a nice little break in my day. $15 dollars with a $5 tip for people who were easily able to clean my nails and not judge was a nice experience. One thing I will note is that before I had my nails painted, they asked if I wanted to pay. I said yes since it's just a clear coat and I had no designs or anything, but I'm sure they would let you pay after if you said no. Not sure, but something to consider. Pros: Quick service, lots of color options from what I looked at, fair price for what I received, gentle work. Cons: Very quiet atmosphere and little talking (which I enjoy but I can understand why someone would be unnerved).

What I mean by that is most times you ask Hair Stylist to only takeoff a little they takeoff a lot, Dawn makes you feel very comfortable and only takes off a little. The shop is clean and very today looking and located in a shopping center that has plenty of parking. They also offer an array of products for your hair. You can tell the employees all love working there because they all have a positive rapport with one another which I think helps with the quality of energy during your visit. Especially when sometimes your visits are four hours at a time. We don't currently live in Chicago, but every time we are in Chicago area we will visit the sorelle salon!

She offered me the cotton foil option for removal and understood when I preferred the swift rotary file over the chemical peel. She did a beautiful, delicate job. The hostess offered me a cold water; the facility was so clean I considered adding a pedicure but realized I was short on time for my next appointment. Last minute decided on a different color, similar to Funny Bunny, requiring three coats to even out. Lam gave the kind of expert insights that help when in a bind. Left with beautifully manicured nails for only $40 & tip. Highly recommend. But go early on a Friday bc the appointments it fills up. Plenty of free parking.
