I've only been here twice. Both visits, my no chip peeled off like a piece of paper, the entire nail. The lady I went to was very nice. This second visit I went back because it had only been a couple of days and the holiday was coming. The nail tech that fixed my nails acted like I was an inconvenience. While their pedicures are decent, I cannot recommend their manicure services, especially if you take pride in maintaining the natural health of your nails like I do. The manicure was fine but I had a gut feeling I was going to regret, which I did. When returning to have the no-chip polish removed, expecting a straightforward and gentle process. Unfortunately, not only was the polish removal incomplete and damage to my nails, but when I pointed this out, I felt dismissed and gaslighted by the staff. I went here to get my nails done. I was looking for them to do an overlay on my real nails and she thought I asked for a new set complete with tips. She proceeds to cut my real nails off even after I told her numerous times I just wanted an acrylic overlay to keep from breaking my nails. She was already 3 nails in cutting them down when I realized so I sat there in disbelief and wanted to cry. I would not recommend going here they don't listen to what you want at all. Very disappointed. Got a pedicure 3 days ago ended up getting an infection on my toe and went to urgent care to get antibiotics. Tina cut my cuticles, and by the time I got home my toe started to turn red and was in pain. She was very aggressive with offering a no chip which I had declined several times . After the 1st few minutes after arriving... trying to figure out what they were saying, no chip means shellac nails. The salon is clean, staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable. I had a male nail technician. His work was ok. I already had old shellac which he had to remove but when he manicured and begin to polish I realized he didn't do a very good job removing the old polish yet continued to do the rest of my nails. It was one of those days for me where it wasn't worth the time to have him redo every nail. So I figured it's just color, I'll come back again and change color. But when I was finished and paid, I realized my nails were poorly filed/shaped and were uneven. I am sure there are better nail technicians in this salon, but since I am not local, it's a one time and done deal for myself. Awful pedicure! Went in for a basic pedicure and asked for clear polish. I left with a large Chuck of skin removed from my big toe which burned the entire pedicure. She never used a nail file to shape my nails. I had to come home and file my own nails. You can still see the old orange nail polish on my nails that she was to remove. Rushed me out 30 min. I went here for the first time recently and definitely would not recommend. While getting a pedicure, the girl used a pumice stone on my shins...my shins! Not only did it hurt but it also left scratches all over my leg. I told her to stop and thankfully she didn't do the same to the other leg. I had a business trip days later and it was embarrassing to have scratches all over my leg. I picked out the color for my no chip manicure and it definitely did not match my toes. It was a gross peach. I didn't have time for them to change it so I came back the next day. I was able to change the color thankfully. The girl put two more coats on over the existing color, which worked. The gel started lifting up and didn't last 2 weeks. I'm glad they let me change the color but I won't be back. read more

I do have to agree with the other Yelp reviews, holy upsell city! I walked in told the front desk that I wanted a no chip mani and a pedi, my mom only wanted a manicure. The lady that greeted me took a look at my tiny finger nails and tried to get me to get fake nails, I said no several times( I hate acrylic nails!). She then told my mom she should also get a pedi, my mom said no several time but then I looked at her toes and told her she should and actually did need one. We proceeded to pick our nail polish, I was quite impressed with their selection, it was pretty big and lots of OPI. After that we were both seated in comfortable massage chairs for our pedicures. Miranda was my technician, she was so sweet and careful with my feet. Miranda also did my manicure she did an amazing job on my tiny fingernails (I'm a nail biter!). This is a total hit or miss nail salon. I go here because it is convenient. I had actually stopped going for a while due to a very bad toe cut that I got from one of the girls that did my nails. I also got veryyyyy tired of the constant questions of 'do you want to add this to your mani/pedi?' However, I was in a rush as my flight for sunny Mexico was leaving in less than 12 hours and I needed to get my nails done ASAP. It was very crowded when I went in, but I was able to get a mani and pedi right away. I had Jenny and she was probably one of the best manicurists I have ever had. I went over three weeks ago and my toenails still look perfect. My finger nails lasted for 10 days as well and it was just a normal manicure. I have given this place way to many chances. Every time I have gone not once have I left satisfied with my nail job. This time specifically I had a fill done, where I went to a different place the first time, regardless, I was missing a nail and needed a repair. It looked nothing like the other nails and in her attempt to fix it made it worse. Not to mention my nails were all different shapes at the end, and very bulky. Too much gel, or not enough filing, they looked way to thick and not natural at all. My first mani-pedi ever, and I wanted to make sure I went to a good place for a first time experience. I ran a search for nail salons near my neighborhood and called most of them to find out how much they charged for a mani-pedi. This one was the cheapest with $33. Not a bad deal! I felt like a princess by the way they treated me. The lady exfoliated my legs and feet, gave me a light foot massage while I sat relaxed in an automatic massage chair. She even helped me pick a color when I had narrowed down two pale shades. I took away one star because NOBODY spoke English. They somehow did manage to communicate, and I was struggling a lot to understand what the lady, who was doing my mani-pedi, meant. I had to rely a lot on body and sign language. More so, she left a few tiny spots on my finger nails naked. But all in all, it was a wonderful experience. Since it was my first time, everybody was very nice to me. The put it face down so I didn't see it and when I got home I called and told her and she was accusing me of wrongdoing and then said she would only pay for the crappy place next door to fix it and my phone was completely ruined and I had to get a new one and she never payed for her wrongdoing. The owner couple of this shop needs to understand that customers do not like being lied to.... I am new to the area and have been looking for a new nail salon. My friend has been to the salon a few times and had good experience with one of the staffs MINDY. The first time I went I just went WITHOUT making appointment with Mindy. But experience didn't turn out the way I expected.... I had a different staff service me and she ended up cutting my skin and one of my fingers ended up bleeding. She wiped it with something to stop it from bleeding then she tried to go back to the SAME SPOT to cut some more! and I asked her to stop and also asked her to not to color that one specific nail. She kept saying.. 'it's ok. no problem' but I wasn't ok with it. From there on, she started acting all pissy and going really fast. WTH??? My friend really liked Mindy so I gave it another try and this time I called and made appointment to have Mindy service me. I called Friday and the owner/male answered the call. I asked if Mindy is available either on Monday or Tuesday. He tells me that she is on vacation that whole week. So then I asked if she is available over the weekend? He says YES. So then I tried to get in on Sunday but the hours that she was available was in the later afternoon on Sunday around 3pm. Then he hands the phone to the owner/female. So after going back and forth, I asked if she is available on Saturday? She says what time do I want to come in? and I asked what time is MINDY available? And she kept asking what time I want to come in? and I repeat back my same question... what time is MINDY available? she says ANYTIME? I repeat back her answer "Mindy is available ALL DAY??? She doesn't have any appointments???" She tells me YES!! MINDY has no appointments and she is free all day!!! and proceeds to laugh. I thought that was little strange b/c if my friend is saying good things too and plus it's Saturday (one of the busiest days for nail salons) and she has no appointments?? O~kay! So we sat a time for me to come in at 2pm on Saturday which is the next day! Saturday, I was out shopping then I plug in first couple letters of the nail salon name on my GPS and drove over there. I got to the shop 12 mins early only to realize, I went to the wrong shop with a very similar name! Shoot. So I quickly look up the right store and called them to let them know. When I called in the owner/female answered the phone. I told her that I have an appointment with MINDY at 2pm but I mistakenly came to the wrong shop in a different city! (I am new to the area) and that if I go to the shop it will take me roughly 30 minutes which means I will be appx 20 minutes late sooooo will MINDY be able to still take me? And she said YES NO PROBLEM! So I drove 30 minutes and rushed over there. FINALLY I got there and I walked in. The owner/male greets me at the door and I said I have an appointment with MINDY. He goes... 'Ohhhh~~~ you know she is on vacation' and the rest of what he said was a blur for like good 3 seconds.... all I was thinking was WHAT DA*BEEEP*?! I said... I just spoke to you YESTERDAY. You said she is going on vacation NEXT WEEK and that she is AVAILABLE TODAY! Then the owner/female says to me (I didn't even realize she was there until I heard a woman say) 'no problem we have other girls who can do your nails~' (she calls her staff ...GIRLS. Uhhh... ) And the owner/male tries to come up with some excuse like 'oh she didn't tell us until last night... I didn't know... oh and we don't have your e.number...' OK. Fine. That is true that they didn't take my number but HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN the call we just had 30 MINUTES AGO!!! and they kept telling me....'it's ok. we have other girls to do your nails... no problem' That just goes to show me that they probably did deceive me from the beginning just to get me into the salon. I mentioned to Tammy that I was in a hurry because I had to get to work and she had me go to Tina for my no chip mani. I previously got the no chip manicure done at a salon in Schaumburg and within a week they looked gross. Today I went to this place and the owner was so friendly and kind. And the nail tech that did my nails didn't rush, she took her time removing the old no chip and applying the new on. Very precise making sure the color looked even. I was really satisfied with her work and will return back when I need to get them done again. Wish I knew the techs name because I'd totally go back to her. The worst manicure I have ever had. I hate giving a bad review, and dont take the impact lightly. The woman that did my nails was so rough she made me bleed. I have three fingers that have wounds where the cuticles were cut until they bled. Getting a manicure should not require bandages.
