I came to get a full set...I been burned twice and asked for nails robe shorter 4 times I asked for them to be very short right off the bat. I still have color left on nails before he put my acrylic on. Some are long then others. Just very bad experience. One they are done I'll post a pictures. These are not finished because they wouldn't fix them and then where trying to change the color that I wanted on them also my old color that was on my nails before they put my full set on are you can see and all my nails are different shapes and length. They all still charged me full price for unfinished nails and the fact that they wouldn't fix them. read more

I am now 4 weeks out and my no chip manicure with dip powder is still basically perfect other than natural nail growth My mom and I made appointments for my brothers wedding online. We had the place to ourself on a Thursday morning and it was a great mother daughter date. My mom did a mani pedi. She absolutely loved her pedi! I walked out on another salon in Bloomingdale that was 20 minutes late for my 1 PM appointment today & STILL wasn't ready for me at 1:20,, and took a short drive back towards home when I pulled up JP nails on my Yelp app while stopped at Army Trail & Kuhn. Based on the great reviews, and the fact it was much closer to my home, decided to walk in on a whim and give them a try.. Totally impressed with Jerry and his awesome pedicure. He took the time to listen to my concerns about the minor pain I have in both toes during the pedicure. Turns out I had 2 ingrown toenails I didn't even realize were causing my issues. He did a very thorough job of taking care of my feet, and was friendly and easy to talk to. Looks like this is my new salon, as they were efficient, friendly, thorough & made sure they were very cleanly in their processes. All tools were pre-bagged and looked to be sanitized. read more

I am from california and I wouldn't have any idea where to go to for nails here in Illinois but I came here with the bridal party to get mani/pedis done for the wedding tomorrow. We scheduled an appointment for 7 people but then I got invited to come along and they were very accommodating for me, the extra person. They were very quick about getting us through yet spending the proper amount of time on each person to make our nails look amazing. I personally got just a gel manicure. They have tons of colors to choose from and I went with a ruby red. Rose carefully applied each coat and made my nails look great. I can already tell that this manicure will last way longer than they advertise it to last. I was very happy. I personally think that it is inappropriate in any work place situation for the employees to speak another language other than one the client umderstands. This is pretty common in nail salons so I guess that is expected. I speak Vietnamese though and no one usually knows that since I am a halfie. The conversation here was professional for the most part and nothing negative was said about anyone. Update! I changed my stars from 4 to 5 because it has been almost three weeks now and I have yet to have a chip on my nails. They have obviously grown in a bit but no chips!! Love it. read more

Got a no chip manicure that lasted one week and then started chipping off. I would expect a no cheap manicure to last at least 3 weeks. WAY OVERPRICED. I could see why they don't have any clients coming in -- at all. Doubt they will be in business much longer. My suggestion would be to save your $$ and look elsewhere. read more

My husband got me a gift card for my birthday so I had to try it. Walked in my temp was taken, hands sanitize, had to sign a paper saying I as COVID -19 free, they have Shields on ever station including the pedicure spa. The place is very clean, they clean everything up after every customer. Denny did my nails. He did a great job on my pedicure, but as I am looking at my nails, I'm seeing a few dents on the tips of my right hand. Maybe the polish was old or something. I went in on a whim without an appointment and I'm so glad I did. Everyone I interacted with was so kind and so professional. I got a pedicure done by Mai, full set of aryclic nails with a gel polish done by Rose and then completed by Paul, and I got my eyebrows waxed by Rose. Really did a great job! I got a no chip and a pedicure. The woman doing my pedicure took her time and was very kind. Then the man who took over to do my no chip was very precise on painting my nails. Made sure to close the tips of the nails with nail polish and really took his time to make sure each nail was done perfectly. I was extremely happy with this experience. I decided to try to this salon when my regular one was booked up. I called ahead of time to make sure they had availability. My appointment was on a Wednesday evening & I wish I hadn't even gone now. I had been wanting to try a dip manicure for the longest time, but soon found out this was not the place to try it. They had very limited color selection & not just in dips; in gels as well. The gentleman who did my nails seemed like he was trying to win a race with the worker next to him as to who could finish the nails first. He zoomed through my manicure almost making my cuticles bleed & gave the fastest, most un-enjoyable hand massage I've ever had. I was hopeful at least that despite this, my manicure would last - unfortunately, wrong again. When I got home, I could see smudges in several of my nails where dips should be smooth as glass. By Monday (again appointment was on Wednesday), my nails were already chipping on the ends & cracking in the middle. I know dips are supposed to last at least 3 weeks or more, so less than 1 is highly disappointing & not worth the money. All in all, I would highly recommend to NOT go here if you want a quality salon experience. I won't be straying from my regular salon again. read more

After my regular nail salon in carol stream switched owners and went downhill fast I searched 100s of nail places in the sorroundkng area and have been completely unimpressed by there lack of quality. Came in with an idea & Jerry did his best to match it. When I first walked in I was told to come back cuz there was no one available & other people had appointments. So I went and ran an errand and did come back. (I probably wouldn't have except I really needed the Mani cuz I have a big job thing coming up...) He did take his time with the no chip Mani and the price was right ($30 to take off old/current no chip and to get the new color & basic manicure, plus $8 for the design). He did however forget to put any lotion on and I didn't get any type of massage. He then gave me total and waited to pay. I could tell he was finished. I did ask if I could just put some lotion on myself, he said "oh yeah I can do it" but I said no that's fine and justed pumped some on myself cuz I had to go get my kids at that point and he clearly forgot. :-/. I decided to give this place a try. I walked in and the staff was very friendly. I had a very short wait. I was getting a no chip manicure abs needed to have my old removed. Staff is friendly however cleanliness is not here. 1. They used already used foil on me. 2. Not one tool came out of cleaner or a one time use sterile package. 3. My stylist use her own finger nails to scrape off my old gel. 4. She also did not use soap when she washed her hands. I'm very glad I did not get a pedicure. The didn't use a base coat and they did not trim my cuticles or dead skin. This cost 25$ +5$ tip. read more

Tried to get a no chip mani and pedi before my wedding because my regular nail lady was booked, and had an absolute nightmare of experience. Never go here!!! Booked an appointment for 3pm on a Monday and ended up being in the salon for over 2 hours with only my pedi done (it took forever and the final product was very sloppy. The pedicure I came in with was way better than what I left with and I'm very sad I even let them touch my feet). They kept taking walk-ins and servicing them before me, even though I had an appointment & was sitting there for forever.... Finally got fed up of waiting and announced I needed to leave because I needed to be somewhere (at this point I was there well over 2 hrs and my mani still hadn't even been started!!!!). Only at that point did they seem to panic. The only pro I can think of is that you can make your appointment online. The HUGE con is they don't honor those appointments and they also do a horrible job. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. read more
