I was apprehensive to look for a new salon and finding one that I liked and did a good job. After reading the reviews for Art Nails, I decided to give it a try. It is a small shop, so I'd recommend making an appointment. Great customer service and very friendly people. I found my new go to! I'd highly recommend.

Although I only got the "Basic" pedicure, the experience and quality was far from bottom tier - quite the opposite! She took such detail to my toes that I've not received before. Picture is of about 1 week after getting done (to ensure they stayed long enough to get through the wedding weekend!). Will be coming back here for all my nail needs.

I found the color I was looking for, but more OPI colors would be great! My pedicure was relaxing, comfortable, and I was asked often if everything was okay or if anything needed more attention. I appreciated the attention my nails got and think they look fantastic!

I called the salon that same day and spoke with the receptionist about the issue. I was told I could come back on Thursday to have everything corrected at no additional charge, and they even allowed me to choose an appointment time. I returned on Thursday at the appointment time THEY scheduled for me, only to be told once I arrived that I would have to pay to have the services corrected. That was extremely disappointing. If I had been told from the beginning that I would have to pay again, I would not have scheduled another appointment and returned to the salon. I came back specifically because I was told the original service would be corrected at no additional charge. The original service not being what I requested was disappointing enough, but having me return based on one agreement and then changing the terms once I arrived made the experience even worse. I expected the salon to honor what I was told when I reported the issue the same day.

During my dip manicure, the nail tech repeatedly dug her short nail into the sides of my fingers. I asked her to stop, but it continued, and I found myself flinching away at least 20 times over the two hours it took to complete the service. It was uncomfortable and honestly stressful. There was also an awkward seating issue -- the nail tech's legs were positioned under my chair, making it unclear where I was supposed to place my own legs. I've never experienced that before, and combined with the discomfort during the service, it added to an already unpleasant experience. The nails were cut extremely short and filed very rounded, more like a child's nail shape than a modern dip manicure. The color selection also feels outdated and doesn't reflect current trends. Pedicures here are just okay, but overall I've found that consistency and technique vary significantly between nail techs. I truly wanted to support a local business that's close by, but after multiple attempts, I won't be returning.
