New owner Tammy is very good. This was my first visit and I am sure to come back! Very professional, nail care service and sweet staff. I am officially a new customer of Design Nail Spa and left my nail spa of 3 years as of today! Thanks Tammy and staff. Love it here! read more

This is by far the best nail salon in town, no matter what town you live in. The owner and all the staff are professional and friendly, and the shop is kept extremely clean. The prices are competitive, but the service beats all. read more

I entered shortly after the 10 am opening and was attended to immediately to have my toenails cut.

Had a great experience with chacha! I asked for a full set-- an almond french tip :) She did a really great job, and I am looking forward to visiting Design Nails Spa again. I also loved the movie they were playing while i got a pedicure (lol), and the staff were all super kind to my 6yo niece who was also getting her nails done. My sister and I are looking forward to coming back. read more

I am new to town and was looking for a nail salon near me. I was able to call ahead and get in for a 5:30 appointment on a Friday evening. Wan Sha (I'm sorry, I hope I'm spelling her name correctly) did such a great job, she was very gentle with my over-processed nails, and I very much appreciate how carefully she treated my hands. She said my hands were soft like a baby lol! Highly recommend, I will come back! read more

Super nice staff and the owner who did my no chip nail was very good and efficient. My pedicure was done by Paupau (sorry for misspelling) was super thorough and a perfectionist! I don't think I'll get the same pedicure experience elsewhere! She takes her time and gives you the best foot spa your feet has ever gotten! Thank you ladies for a wonderful LAST minute experience :) read more

I was looking for a place to get a mani and pedi while my dog was getting groomed. There was a choice of 3 places, and I chose here because of the reviews. I was so HAPPY I did because I had Sampson start off my pedicure with a sugar scrub and the BEST leg a foot massage a girl could ask for!! ChaCha his wife completed the pedicure and manicure and was equally as good. Definitely will come back here and definitely tell friends and family!!! read more

BEWARE! Tammy is no longer the owner of this nail salon. The new girls are very inexperienced. I spent hours in the chair instead of under an hour when Tammy did my nails. The salon was also dirty and the nail brushes were ancient and very worn. Never going back. read more

Visited here for a regular pedi on a Sunday. I called first and found out they had no waiting, so I hustled and got there about 15 minutes after they opened and sat right down. I'm not a big nail salon kind of gal. Pedicures take awhile and that's time that I don't always have, so I was glad to find a place open on Sunday that other yelpers like. My technician was very quiet, but that's ok, I was relaxing and enjoying not having to make small talk. My toes look great and that's exactly what I was looking for! I'm not sure if they have incense burning there, but there is a strong (not like other salons) odor when you walk in. At first I thought someone was smoking a cigarette. I've been told I have a sensitive nose, so maybe you won't notice it. When it came time to pay, I did not see the CASH ONLY FOR TIPS sign until after I tipped on my card. (I know this is the trend, but it was a Sunday morning!). My technician didn't really say anything about it until after she rang me up. I apologized and promised next time it wouldn't be an issue. That's right, I will be going back. read more

This salon did a great job, I came since it was so close while I was getting service done at Ford and I was so surprised by the amazing service. read more

I've been here twice now and I have been satisfied both times. I have seen Tammy for my no chip manicures and she is fantastic. My nails look great and the no chip lasts. I got a pedicure today by one of the girls and I enjoyed it very much. I'm pretty picky and I would normally go to a big Spa in Oakbrook but I was looking for convenience and quality close to home. Very glad I found this hidden gem 5 min from my home. read more

Stopped in on a whim today to get a pedicure. Fair price, prompt service, and a great calf massage! Thanks! I will be back.

Walked in, everyone had their feet up and they were relaxing Nail person didn't ever tell me her name I advised i wanted a no chip, no colors were presented In the middle I said let's do "dip" and then she began hacking away at my cuticles Asked for cuticle oil to minimize pain, she said can't do that with dip- so I asked to go back to no chip Eventually I was presented with colors, chose one and was told "whoops, can't have that " Chose straight black, paid 35 for mani - tipped 7 and already have 2 (TWO) chipped nails read more

My friend and I had our nails done at this salon back in May for prom. The service was great and my nails turned out ok (I showed a picture of what I wanted and it was similar) the customer service was great, we got to talk to their teenage daughter most of the time. But then today my friend and I received a very strange text from them, I think it's very creepy that they text our cell phones - I did not sign up for anything like this and I do not know how they got our phone numbers. Let me know if this has happened to anyone else. Update: she is now harassing me on Yelp for this review. read more

Well! This place which I frequent at least 4-6 weeks for a clean up which would take them no more than 30 mins and paid full price on no chip clear with appointment made and confirmed a day before. Say no more I will never step foot in this place as they are the most un loyal salon that I specifically visit owner after owner. These new owners clearly are the worst and I would never recommend them or anyone should ever take for granted that your regular folks with appointments should never be untreated. Money will never be enough when you sought out before loyality! May you never allow a business owner treat you any less than you're loyality to a business! You will never last forever driven buy just hungry for the money lady owner read more

I'm new to the area and trying different places for services. I needed a manicure today, and forgot to make a reservation somewhere. I've been getting no chip done here since Tammy took over the place. She does the best job ever. Highly recommend this place!! read more

I've been searching for months for a new nail salon and I finally found it! This place is great! Friendly people, huge color selection and my nails look great! I called late on a Sunday afternoon to see if they could take me for a mani/pedi. From the moment that the phone was picked up I knew that this would be a good experience. They welcomed me right away and while I picked my color the pedi tub was filled. I sat down and started the massage chair up and within five minutes or so the spa like experience was underway! The small talk was nice, the technique was impeccable. My fingers and toes haven't see a nail salon since the pandemic and it was not a pretty start, but it was definitely a pretty end! Sparkly pink fingers and toes and a new go to salon. Happy Sunday!! read more

I went to get my gel polish removed. The owner was friendly and nice but the lady who removed my polish did a really bad job my nails still have the residue and polish gel. Super disappointed after trying this place out for the first time and leaving with nails that look like a child painted them. I originally came here to get my nails fixed - I had a design that didn't come out properly and I didn't want to take off my no chip entirely I just wanted them to work around it because I did not have the time. Two other nail salons had turned me away before I got to Design Nails. Lynn was able to fix my nails in only 30 minutes and I got a lot of compliments on them. She really helped me out before my work trip! read more

I can't say anything but good things for these ladies! They do a great job and they get me in and out on my lunch hour and they don't cut corners they pay close attention to my cuticles which is important to me because my hands are so dry. Silly I know but it's something the matters to me. The salon is clean. They have a huge selection of no chip and they do a great French Manicure. You won't be disappointed! read more

I followed Tammy here. She now owns the shop - she is amazing and now she has a little more time to take more clients! She's building her business and I'm glad to support her. The New Owner is Paulwah. She is very good with mani and Pedi. She is also good with microbladding. Very friendly . She bought this salon from previous owner Tammy officially since this October. The salon was remodeled and replaced with almost everything new. Complementary coffee is also served. One of the tech, her name is NaNa. She is always my go-to person since she was at other Salon. I am so glad that she joined to Paulwah's place. She always provide an extra nail design with reasonable price which no other salon usually did. Very patient as well. Love the atmosphere at this salon. Since the salon is busy walk-in wait line may be long, recommend to call in first. read more
