I liked how peaceful and quiet the place is. The services (Classic Mani/Pedi) were very relaxing, and I didn't need to do a lot of small talk. I am not picky with my nails since I don't want to maintain high-end mani and pedi. It is not allowed in my line of work. I just do it for self-care and relaxation. Came here because we were in the area and when I called they had immediate availability for 2 mani pedis (on a Sunday afternoon). They did a nice job with both. It's been nearly a week and both polishes have held up well. I also ruined a nail on the way out but they redid it which was so kind! Only compliant is that I told them not to cut my cuticles because they are sensitive but they did anyway. I find a lot of salons are like this though. read more

This is the old "Diva Nails" I got worst manicure of my life. I'm not quite sure what shape she was going for but it is unlike any shape I've ever gotten. The quality of materials seemed incredibly cheap. No brand I've ever heard of & I saw the owner there & after seeing him I was not surprised. Only two nail techs on Saturday. Wish I could give this place zero stars. I moved to Schaumburg over the weekend and researched Yelp to find the best nail salon near me. I was convinced this salon for the bill. I told them I had a dip powder manicure that needed to be taken off and reapplied. They acted like they had never seen a manicure with dip powder. They spent 50 minutes manually chipping it off with a nail file. They had zero clue what to do. They didn't soak my nails in acetone or even use a drill. I shouldn't have stayed as long as I did. I'm visiting from out of town so I'm not sure what the average prices are around here but in my opinion my basic pedicure with gel(no removal of previous gel) was a great price! $60. I cut my toenails myself & messedddd them up & made them sooo short(way shorter than I prefer them.) so I just knew I was gonna have an ugly pedicure but at my fault. I went to Pure Nails for the first time couple of weeks ago to get a pedicure and manicure. I was not impressed with the service provided as both of these services were done in about 45 minutes. Since the no chip manicure lasted less than 5 days, I proceeded to remove it myself along with the pedicure. As I removed the toe nail color, I noticed a white/yellow decoloration in two of my toe nails. Within three days the decoloration grew considerably and I have now been fighting a fungus for about two weeks. The service, quality, and safety provided by Pure Nails really disappointed me, taking into consideration the high cost for the services they provide. I was looking forward to getting my nails done and in return I got a very unpleasant experience. read more

They're very sanitary (plastic large shower cap looking things over the bowls for a pedicure, gloves, and all the tools were in new plastic). Got a great pedicure and a great no chip! Spa music was in the background which was very relaxing. Very clean there too. I got Alie who did an awesome job with my no chip mani and pedi. He used the gel polish in a way that I had never seen... He emphasized the tips so instead of my nails having a nice even dome, there is a dip in the nail. Quality of service was very poor. I came in and wasn't greeted. Neither was every customer after me. Prices did not match the quality of nails they produce. I was charged $25 for a mani/ pedi for my 2 year old. Which they only painted her nails and toes. She didn't get to soak her feet, lotion or anything. My pedi was bad. She didn't scrub my feet or do anything special for $65. My daughter messed up 2 of her nails and I asked them to fix it. Today however, I was super disappointed.. my feet look worse than what they did when I went in.. the lady barely scrubbed my feet and she didn't even clean out the polish around my toes & around my nail beds.. The service here was beyond disrespectful. I will gladly never come back. I went in to get a no chip, get a acrylic removal and for my daughter to get a manicure. They inform me it will be $10 to remove my acrylics (already mostly removed myself prior, there was only pieces left on my nails). They get started on my nails and as the nail tech is cutting my nails she cuts my finger. I felt a pinch thought it was just something small until I saw the nail filer had blood. I told the girl I wanted to wash my hands because I don't want any infections. She didn't apologize or anything. I sit back down and my finger was burning and still bleeding, she then puts alcohol, again no apology. She still needed to finish filing my other nails but I told her to stop because I was scared to get an infection. The filer now has my blood, I have an open wound that's burning. Instead of trying to correct the issue her response was... "it won't get infected, it happens all the time"... I've never had a nail tech cut me before and to say it happens all the time says a lot about your business! I told her nope I don't want you touching my nails I'm ready to go. I will pay the "nail removal fee" and leave. They then tell me they will still charge me full price for my daughter's manicure even though they had only just filed them. Pretty ridiculous considering they had only shaped them and they again cut my finger and did not try to correct the issue. I told them ok you can finish my daughters nails and I'll pay for hers and leave. When I go to pay, the manager/owner or whoever it was, was beyond rude and disgusting towards me. 1. You did not apologize for your staff cutting my finger 2. You still charged me for my "service" 3. You then changed the acrylic nail removal from $10 to $15. Even after I called you out on it you still insisted it was 15.. makes no sense but ok. They charged me $25 for my nails. Better yet they charged me $25 to cut my finger not even finish shaping it or anything. This is how I walked out the salon, with my nails looking terrible and now a burning wound. Your service is terrible and you and your staff need training on customer service and how to prevent your customers from catching possible infections. read more

Horrible!!!! I will definitely not be going back and recommend you do the same. I stopped in here on a Wednesday afternoon to get a no chip manicure before a trip later that evening. I sat in the chair second from the back and the young girl took a VERY long time doing my nails. I said i prefer them a little shorter and she proceeded to cut all of my nails off entirely. She then asked how they looked and there's no way she can put nail back on so I had to say they were fine. She filed and filed and trimmed and cut and filed for what seemed like forever and then moved onto the polish. Her dryer was broken so I had a cover resting on the backs of my hands. Each time a cycle ended she would instruct me to take my hand out to start it again but I couldn't because the cover would drag across my nails. So she would lift it up so I could remove my hand and put it back in to start the dryer. This ridiculous cycle repeated over and over for each hand. When we started a second coat on my left hand she realized the polish was not setting and was bubbling up. So she began picking and scratching it off with her nails. Then she did it to a third finger on my left hand. At that point I had been here for well over an hour and didn't have time to sit there while she scratched polish off all of my fingers. I removed my right hand from the dryer when it was done and realized the same thing was happing to those nails. At this point multiple people have come in, had their nails done, and left while I'm still being worked on. I told her to please remove the polish and clean up my nails so I could leave. I didn't have time to have them redone unfortunately. Especially not at the speed she was going. At no point did she ask for help or call someone over. She just spoke to the other girls working on each side of her at which point they would lean over and look at my nails, make a face, and go back to their customer. Almost two hours after I walked into this place I was finally walking out. With nails only looking drastically shorter than when I came in. The lady at the front desk said I owed $25 for my "manicure." Are you kidding me?! I said she didn't give me a manicure. She said "well, for polish change it's $25," which is an insane price for a polish change. I held up my hands and said there's no polish on them now and there wasn't polish on them when I came in. She said I could pay $15 for the collagen mask that was used on my hands and for the back massage. I told her I didn't get a massage, put the $15 on the table, and told her I would never be back there again. This place is a joke and I will honestly never return. They knew it was my first time there and made mention of it a few times and that's how they handle this issue? read more

They now have several young women who don't know what they are doing. My pedicure today was not what I experienced previously. The girl was using old, gummy polish so I had to say something and ask for a different color. She had no idea why I asked for new polish. This place is lovely! Clean, fresh flowers, good nail polishes and excellent staff. They offer a punch card for returning customers and rewards. The massage chairs are all nice and comfortable. WOW! Where do I start? I keep finding great places in Schaumburg. Now you know I live in Naperville, so this nail salon is a little drive, but more than well worth it. It is classier than some high end salons I've been to. The décor hits the mark. You don't see wires hanging out of the walls or random stuff all over the floor, everything is to perfection. The off white upholster chairs make this seem very chic and give it a warm feeling. It is very airy with all the light colors on the walls. This place needs to be in some fancy place in California...seriously. GORGEOUS. They have tea and coffee at a Keurig maker with all the creamers you want. Bonus! Now this isn't one of the places where they "act" like they don't speak English or don't even know English. The ladies spoke and were very friendly. Wish I prefer. It is very relaxing and they take their time and do an excellent job. There is a huge color selection. They shaped, cut and filed to perfection, seriously! Okay... NOW FOR THE BEST PART.. DRUMROLL PLEASE.. Okay, since it is winter, I didn't walk in with flip flops (I don't like being cold!) I had on boots, which could potentially mess up your pedicure. However, I was under the dryer for about 15 min, as I was told to do. Then they brought be over to wrap my toes. Let me explain..... She spray that "fast dryer" stuff on, just for protection, then put oil so that the saran wrap used wouldn't smudge my toe nails, then wrapped them up tight. WHO ACTUALLY THINKS OF THIS.
