My pedicure started chipping after 3 days. I went back and was told that there is no guarantee on the polish. The man was very angry and disrespecful, how do I dare to complain. I sat down and the owner asked if I wanted my nails cut or filed and I said not to cut them, and that I would like them filed gently and not on the sides as they tend to break then. I guess my specifics annoyed him because he then asked me, "so why do you even come here, you can leave". I love coming here! They are always nice and very accommodating. They can take walks in's almost every time (during the week is when I go). They have lots of colors to pick from and their no chip manicures last me three weeks+. Any time a nail chips early before it should, they fix it for me every time no problem. They are all fantastic! I wasn't in the area of my normal nail place and desperately needed a pedi, so I found this new place and decided to give them a try. I called and made an appointment, no problem. I was the only one there for most of the time, which I'm not used to at all but with the holidays peoples schedules are weird so not a huge deterrent. The staff were friendly and all set for me when I arrived. I opted for the lavender pedi - Note: All pedis are $40 and you get to pick your fragrance which includes a salt scrub. I'm not sold on this as my usual place does a scrub and lotion for $32. I feel like a bit more of a scrub on the bottom would have been nice too; they scrubbed my feet with like a sponge rather than a pumice stone. Finally, the chairs are fairly basic so not as many settings as most places I go. These may be nitpicking but just comparing against others in the burbs. I may or may not come back! read more

I had thought most of the tools they used were clean but noticed that the nail filer they used for my nails were already used (you can tell by the white marks)...so 1 less star for that. Regular mani-pedi ($53): The costs may be a little more than other nail salons. The male nail technician was a bit rough when cleaning my nails at certain times so it hurt. My nails did start chiping after a couple days but it may be because I didn't do no chip. Regular pedi ($40): I came here a 2nd time for a pedicure. After having such a great experience last time, I asked family to get me a gift card to Sugar Nails for my birthday. I came back in to get a regular mani-pedi ($53 + $5 for french). This time I got the Lavender Eruption pedicure which smelt spectacular and left my legs feeling tingly. Sugar Nails does one of the best pedicures I've had! For my hands, I got a classic french manicure. My nails overall look great but I did not think I was going to love them in the chair. The nail tech only did a base coat where the white went and the second paint coat wasn't fully applied; just what she could up to the line so she didn't have to reclean it. One would never notice now that the top coat is on but service is key when pampering oneself! I did my pedicure July 2024 and was very impressed by their quality and service. The ladies there were very friendly and I enjoyed my experience there that time. So, I'm thinking to go back again today so I called. This time a man answered my call saying they don't take walk-ins. He said noon is good for me to come in but I asked can I do 11 instead and he said ok. When we repeated the time to confirm, he said noon, I said you just said ok to 11am. He simply hanged up. Very rude and not professional at all. Not sure how a person with this attitude can be responsible for answering calls from clients. I am always up for exploring and finding a good nail salon...and I think I found it! They're a new salon tucked away not too far from the library in one of the relatively new shopping centers. The staff was very nice and eager to please! The regular pedicures comes with a scrub you normally would pay extra for - I was pleasantly surprised! The gentleman who did my manicure and pedicure was fast, but paid attention to every detail - you could tell he had a lot of experience. I also liked that they didn't try to up-sell you to additional services like most salons do. They do offer a variety of services and happy to accommodate you. They took several walk-ins while I was there, but I would recommend calling ahead to make sure they can take you. I like a clean, crisp looking salon where the staff are eager to help you - and this is definitely one of them! I highly recommend them! read more

I have been coming here and have been happy. Yesterday I scheduled a pedicure with Anna. It was not a good one at all. She did nothing, no scrubbing etc. the worst part she dug into the cuticles and cut them and I started bleeding. It was so painful. She cut both big toenails slanted where I will have an ingrown toenail once they grow. The left toe where she cut me is all swollen and I cannot walk on it later that evening and today it is worse. The bad thing is she didn't care. Tried to keep wiping the blood. Who cuts toenails not straight and digs and cuts the cuticles like that. I get frequent pedicures and never ever had this happen. Reading through the other negative reviews; the male owner of this salon awful and I'll never put another dime in his pocket! This is the quality of a powder dip nail at day 14, not to mention, my second repair from the first day of service. I called the day before letting Dahlia know the nail chipped and made an appointment for next day at 11. The male owner REFUSED to fix it. He told me, "we don't provide that service and please leave," and just walked away from me. There wasn't even a conversation about, okay well we need to charge you. This dude essentially told me to f-off. There were 3 other clients in the shop. I've used the salon once. This salon does NOT use plastic gloves over the foil to remove existing color to speed up the process. This salon does NOT use nails lamps which is needed for the polish harden and be more durable. This is likely to cause of the problem. I've had powder dip nails for for one year and never had one chip, let alone two It's really a shame. Dahlia is a great manicurist. Getting our nails done was part of my bachelorette party, and they even provided some non alcoholic bubbly to let us celebrate! I enjoyed my manicure here so much. This is the truly the standard for manicuring! I was on a work trip and broke my nail on the flight to Chicago. I had on acrylics but knew I just wanted a gel mani once I had them removed. My nail tech took such time and care carefully removing the acrylic. I'm so used to my nails feeling thin and week after having my acrylics removed bc people usually use the drill file to remove it. It's a time saver, sure but not great for the health of your nail. My tech soaked my nails and gently let the acrylic melt off. He also took great care pushing back and cutting down my cuticles. I haven't enjoyed getting my nails done lately bc I feel like I have to be on guard making sure that no one is filing too deep or cutting me. But I honestly could've fell asleep during this mani. I wish I could bring my tech back to Houston with me! I usually love a design and wish I'd gotten one, I know he would've killed it. If I'm ever back here I will definitely return!! read more
