SO clean. Honestly the best pizza and the guy brought my girlfriend a gluten free cupcake because she didn't want a whole gluten free pizza to herself. The kindest people and seriously the best pizza, tastes like it's homemade with love!

Half olive, half beeteroni

Hella good pizza made in a tiny trailer! Everything is made from scratch, including the dough and toppings. It's no secret that it's some of the best vegan pies around, so your best bet is to order ahead. Wait times can be long, but always worth it. If you don't want a whole pizza (although it does make excellent leftovers, hot or cold the next day) go for a very affordable Sicilian slice, which is a thick rectangle that eats like whole meal for $4 - 5. My parents, two omnivorous former New Yorkers, heartily approved of the crisp thin crust and incredible housemade dairy free mozzarella cheese. I think that says it all.

Beeteroni

This is my first time trying vegan pizza and I was wanted to see how the beets would taste like pepperoni. It tasted like beets to me but I like beets so that's fine. That wasn't my issue with this place, the pizza slice was super greasy and soggy. I had to eat my pizza with a fork and knife. The bottom was completely soaked in grease and I don't like my pizza slices that can't hold up all the toppings. It needed to be executed better, maybe ordering the whole pizza is the way to go for this.

A delightful vegan food truck - pizza and sides all VEGAN! This truck is right next to Austin Winery and a bunch of other pubs so definitely a great location and good food to pair with your beer/wine/cocktails. The garlic knots were just yummy buttery deliciousness. Will try the pizza next time!

Pizza by the Slice with sausage, artichoke and ricotta

What a fun little food truck with such a cool concept. Walking up to the truck, I was hit with such a heavenly delightful smell! I ordered just a slice of sicilian pizza with seitan sausage, artichoke and almond ricotta for $6. My first bite the pizza reminded of school lunch pizza but then it started to grow on me and was pretty good. The seitan sausage was super flavorful and textured. The almond ricotta was creamy and airy. The cheese didn't stand out to me in a good or bad way. I think they went a bit too heavy on the red sauce for my liking. Overall good bite!

I ordered from Li'l Nonna's on DoorDash and was really impressed with the pizza! My friend and I got the garlic knots, a pizza, and some ranch on the side. For the pizza, we got a half and half, so one half was the veg out and the other was the supreme. The Supreme side was pretty simple with veggies and tempeh, but I was in love with the veg out. I loved the artichoke hearts with the vegan cheese. I will say though, the pizza was very very heavy for me, I was done after one slice. I was really disappointed with the garlic knots though. The knots weren't completely baked through and it was obvious it wasn't baked with the garlic. The garlic was just thrown on top. It had the typical jarred garlic taste which was very acidic and not pleasant. Once I got them, I threw them in the air fryer for a few minutes but I wasn't wowed by the taste at all. Just seemed pretty doughy and not flavorful. The ranch was really good, and if you plan on buying a pizza then definitely worth getting.

We love Big Nonna's and we're expecting Lil Nonnas would be just as good. The pizza was cold and the cheese not all the way melted. The garlic knots were severely undercooked, to the point where the dough was still stretchy in the middle. We had to put them back in the oven for 10 minutes. I didn't think to take a pic before, but here they are after 5 mins in the oven and you can tell they're still not all the way cooked and have minimal seasoning.

Outdoor seating

This is a vegan pizza food truck at Progress Cafe. On a Saturday night, it was a bit quiet, but that meant no wait. There is a lot of outdoor seating and a few tables indoor at the cafe. I got the Sicilian slice and you get up to 3 toppings. I chose the beetaroni, seitan sausage and smoked tempeh. I like seitan, so wasn't surprised that was my favorite. They were all nicely spiced and flavorful. It was the first time I have had thin sliced beet as pepperoni and it was great. The vegan mozzarella is like the real thing. I also got a side of ranch which was also good. I think it's made of cashew.

I haven't been to Lil' Nonna's in years because I go to Big Nonna's now but since my friends told me this truck was behind progress coffee I now will be ordering delivery! The only pie I haven't had was the VBR and my close friend wanted to go with whatever I wanted...so I ordered the VBR with almond ricotta and THE RICOTTA IS A MUST! Yes, it's $3 but totally worth it. Once again, the vegan ranch is to live for. The staff is so nice -- I remember over 6 years ago buying straight from the owner of the truck. The service was perfect and I can't wait to eat it again!

Flew in from California for a conference and was beat. Started searching for vegan delivery on DoorDash in the cab on the way to the hotel and was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan pizza place! The beet pepperoni sounded odd but decided to try it, it's a little sweet but has really good flavor. The cheese is awesome and the crust is just chef's kiss!

Half pina jalapeno and half beet-aroni with almond ricotta added on.

This may have been the best pizza I've ever eaten, vegan or not. Loved the crispy Sicilian slice. Amazing. Definitely try this place out.

Service The guy working the truck seemed to be high while taking our orders and making food. That must explain why tacos are $7, they were decently large and that runny age was good. It also took ages to make and get our food. I know vegan food does tend to take longer because of the care process, but this was another level. They did not call our names when the food was ready and it took ages. We even came to check on our food a few times and it was not ready. Ambiance Food truck in the middle of an empty lot. We tried half the trucks. Burgers, tacos, and cheesecake were on the menu because the others were closed at the time. I tried a taco two-fer at Rockin Vegan Tacos, which has evolved its presentation and probably food through the years. The KBBQ rib taco on a flour taco was yummy. Taste and flavor excelled over the somewhat disjointed and unmeldedness of the overall taco. The vegan bacon on my scramble tasted pretty salty and greasy- true to its inspiration tho bacon in any form won't be missed by me- however the scramble "egg" was eggcellent. Truly. Not just being punny. Don't forget to grab some sauces from the little labeled mini cooler to the left of the counter. That chipotle sauce slaps. The fries from Nom Burger were a skinny fried surprise! Well seasoned and addicting, watch out. They also provide organic ketchup packets without high frucgross corn syrup- min approved. The buns weren't warmed and at a 3:1:.25 bread to patty to cheese ratio, cheeseburger was just ok. The cute little cheesecake truck serves vegan and non vegan options. $10-11 in little glass jars which can be returned for future discounts. The cookies and cream was a layered and light treat. A nice way to wrap up the meal and extend your time in this cute, colorful, casual, Austiny spot. Bathrooms are in the mural building through a white door behind the trash bin, take the first right. I spied Uber cookies on the closed coffee truck menu and shall return for those.

The food was simple, healthy, and delicious, and I had a great time consuming everything from vegetables to legumes to tea. Since I normally loved cooking vegan at home, some of what they served here, especially lentils, matched exactly what I would have cooked. The soup and tea were amazing as well, and there was a piece of paper on the table with explanations about the tea. Even on a Monday in December, this place had everything that I needed. There was a hammock outside, a path to walk on, and a bulletin board with flyers advertising all types of local events that were along the lines of healing and inner peace. That further solidified my perceptions about how this place would attract people whose energies aligned with what this place was trying to surround itself with.

We got one Austin roll ($22), volcano roll ($15), creamy spicy tan tan ramen ($20), teriyaki sesame tofu yakisoba ($20). I have had their sushi and yakisoba but tried their ramen for first time. I was impressed with their packaging. As you can see in picture, veggies and noodles box was on top and soup at bottom. The only thing I didn't like how noodles became very sticky because of how tight they were packed. So I got it as cold (because I live 30 mins away) and sticky. Ramen came with all the veggies like grilled Chinese broccoli, tofu, sweet corn, marinated shiitake mushrooms, red onions and negi. Yakisoba noodles had the Stir-fried noodles tossed with cabbage, scallion, carrot, marinated shiitake mushrooms, and fragrant negi in a savory house sauce. It was good if you like this type of noodles. Austin roll had Smoked tempeh, tempura tofu, jalapeño, pickles. And on the to Avocado, roasted garlic oil, tempura flakes, smoked paprika, teriyaki. BUY IN STORE -- Not online…read more I truly hate writing this review because Rebel Cheese's products are excellent but the fulfillment and customer experience were a mess from start to finish. I ordered a holiday cheese box on December 3 as a Christmas gift. My card was charged immediately. The order never shipped, and I received no communication until I followed up myself, multiple times. After the holidays, I learned (only because I kept pushing) that my order had been internally canceled due to a system glitch, with no email, no refund, and no outreach. I was repeatedly told it would ship on specific dates that came and went. A replacement order was finally sent in January. It arrived late, wet, with melted and ruptured ice packs, and the cheese was very soft to the point my friends weren't sure it was safe to eat. The box also lacked the gift note that was supposed to be included. What bothers me most is that my card would have stayed charged indefinitely if I hadn't chased this down myself. That's not okay especially for perishable food. It's a real shame, because the product itself is great. But based on this experience, I can't recommend ordering gifts or anything time-sensitive unless the fulfillment and communication processes dramatically improve.

I sent the email and the reply was We are very busy but doing everything we can to fulfill orders. They promised to overnight any orders not shipped on Monday. On the day before Thanksgiving I found out they did not ship my order and essentially asked that I understand because they are so busy. They offered to ship my order later and they would throw something in for free for my inconvenience. This was a standard poorly written customer communication. I replied and explained how after their reassurances they had left me without my order or sufficient time to find a suitable replacement. This time a got a genuine reply from Luis, but same offer full refund, or some free item. It nice for them that they are so busy that they can't fulfill customer orders on time. I would like to tell you I tried everything on the menu as many times as I came here. But alas, only four or five things. Unfortunately, their pierogies are the best thing I've ever had. Not just in Austin, but ever. I am now desperately seeking pierogies that rival FTG's. It's not just the pierogies themselves... but the sauce, it would make angels sing. Every time I tried something new, my heart would long for the pierogies. I finally gave in to my desires and quit trying other new things. I think next time I go back I'm just going to ask strangers if I can have a bite of their food, so I can say I've tried everything. But until then, this review is for what I have tried. After the pierogies. My next favorite things in order. Fried chicken (perfectly crisp bites), jerk chicken (little spicy, not dry, perfect), chilli (so spicy), gnocchi. The cheesecake would technically rank after the pierogies, but because they're a dessert I don't wanna mess up the order here and confuse y'all. The two dudes that work this truck, are here EVERY time. I'm pretty sure the only days they take off is Mondays and Tuesdays. Tell them the girl from Kansas City with a big dog sent to you. Lastly. The meats were unforgivably dry, though everything else was good. Steak & Zab ($22): The zab, a mix of green beans, mushrooms, and broccoli tossed in salsa macha with sabayon, was actually enjoyable. I liked the flavors, but it was a bit too creamy/saucy for my husband (likely due to the sabayon). The steak, however, was dry and very chewy. Asian Style Spare Ribs ($17): This came with a 1/3 rack of spare ribs, a Thai cabbage salad, and five-spice fried potatoes. The potatoes were fire, and the salad was solid. But again, the meat missed the mark--super dry for the most part. We tried dipping it in the sabayon and other sauces to add moisture, but it didn't help. The fish sauce glaze didn't come through either. The only redeeming quality was the generous portion size.
