I enjoyed the yogurt sauce and wished I got to try their tikka sauce but they ran out. I thought the fries were alright, they could be crispier and they were also a bit soggy even though we were eating them fresh/right when it came out. Not only that but the truck is located in the back corner of the lot right next to a brick and mortar zucchini kills so there's not a lot of room to order and wait for your food. Seating is slightly limited so it may be a good idea to take your food to go. My husband and I both got the chicken nuggets, I got the honey 65 and he got the street Szechuan flavor with a side of garlic duck fat fries. We also got the sweet mint dipping sauce. The honey 65 was honestly so good, it didn't need any additional sauces. The nuggets were tender and if I were to get just one thing off of the menu it would be this. The street Szechuan was bland. We tried dipping it in the mint sauce but the mint sauce had a slightly off flavor to it. The nuggets here were super tender though so that was nice. The duck fat fries were just super oily. It didn't have those bold, layered flavors you would typically find in Indian cuisine. We tried their third highest spice level "Honey Badger" and It barely registered as spicy. If you enjoy heat I would jump higher on the list. We also tried their garlic duck fat fries, which were seasoned extremely well. To the point you couldn't enjoy them. Trust me, if I'm posting about it, I would go back again, & it means so should you. That's not all! It warms my heart when I get the chance to meet the creator in the kitchen for these feasts. How a person treats the staff at a restaurant can be a great indicator of red flags. Went here with a couple friends to try. It's a little bit tucked away in the back so not with the other food trucks nearby. It's right next to the zucchini kill bakery. It's all fusion of Indian street flavors meet spicy fried chicken. I got the street Szechuan sando, garlic duck fat fries, and a mango lassi. The flavors worked really well together and the chicken was nice and juicy. The mango lassi creamy and the duck fat an extra edge to the fries. Service was great and the guy who runs it was really helpful in deciding what to get and making you feel welcome. Since it's inside another outdoor bar there is a lot of outdoor seating so great to hang out when the weather isn't super cold. I will say this had lots of sauce so things soaked in pretty quickly. Definitely eat when you get it and don't let it sit too long before tasting otherwise you may have some soggy bread. 10/10 recommend getting nice and fresh! read more

Finally made it out here after wanting to try it for awhile. I'll just get it out of the way first: easily the best hot chicken in Austin. I tried the sando with Honey 65 sauce, the nuggets with the South Gangster sauce/rub, tikka chili fries, and a mango lassi. The chicken is cooked to order and so it comes out hot, crispy, and perfectly done. And they use duck fat! Hell yeah. The flavors are both familiar if you're a hot chicken fan but also definitely its own thing due to the Indian influence. If you're a fan of places like T22, then this is that but kicked up a notch. They use thigh meat only, so the meat is juicy and tender and not dried out. Prices are MORE than fair for the quality of what you get here. The owner Raj is super friendly. We had to wait a little bit before he could take our order because he was finishing up another order. He wouldn't let us give him a tip and just asked that we spread the word if we liked the food. We split the 14 pc chicken nuggets (thigh meat) with Golden 65 level of spiciness / honey flavoring and the duck fat fries. OMG. Transformative. Indescribably delicious. Sweet, spicy, crispy, perfectly seasoned, perfectly tender, just incredible. Went back three days later to have the same thing again. I want it again now, but sadly I was just visiting (lived in Austin for many years). Next time I'm in Austin, I will be making it a point to eat Guppys chicken. The sauce was pretty good, a classic tikka sauce with a slight kick. It was good but nothing stood out Overall, the food and atmosphere was very nice. The service was pretty slow, our fries were ready in 20 minutes and the chicken was done over 30 minutes after ordering.
