Absolutely terrible experience. Avoid this dealership at all costs. I brought my Ford F-150 to Liccardi Ford for a transmission issue and clearly stated that I had insurance coverage. I spoke with the service manager, Harold King, who told me I needed a new transmission and an oil leak repair. I agreed, expecting the process to move forward promptly. That did not happen. A full week went by with zero communication. When I finally called, I was told the insurance adjuster had only come out the day before--something that typically happens within 24-48 hours. So clearly, my vehicle sat there for an entire week with nothing being done. From there, it only got worse. The dealership appeared to inflate pricing despite the insurance company already providing estimates. Getting any kind of update was nearly impossible--calls and texts were ignored, and the service manager was completely unresponsive and unhelpful. After a week and a half, I was told they were still "working out numbers," now considering used parts. Let me be clear: no repairs had been started at all. My truck was just sitting in their lot the entire time. At that point, I had enough and went to pick up my vehicle--only to be charged $250 for a diagnostic that I still have not even received. To make matters worse, it's obvious why this place has such a low rating. They have wide-open, even same-day service appointments available, while every other Ford dealership has at least a one-week wait. That should tell you everything you need to know. Longtime customer. Never going back to the service department. Avoid Ruben in particular. I made a service appointment at Liccardi to get my Ford Explorer's mirror fixed before a 1,500 mile road trip that was coming up in a couple weeks. I made sure to write in the service appointment request that there was a deadline for this repair to be completed. The ford explorer has massive blindspots and is dangerous to drive without a mirror. In the past, I always worked with Danny, who has always done a decent job. This time I got Ruben as my service rep. I had never worked with him before. Ruben showed no sense of urgency to get the repairs done before the deadline. He told me that while they had appointment slots open on Thursday, that was the day they catch up on the backlog of vehicles, so I should wait for an appointment until the following Tuesday. I foolishly listened to his advice, which meant that my car was not even looked at until the following Wednesday. Ruben calls me up Thursday morning and tells me they need to replace the whole mirror (which was false, only the motor needed to be replaced), that it will be over $1000 (which is a ripoff, these mirrors are like $200, and take minutes to change), and asks me if I want an estimate for the work. I responded that I would pay the (exorbitant) price so long as the work was completed on time. Ruben says he understands. I go to pick up the car, and sure enough the mirror is still broken. I call Ruben the next day (Friday), and he says they have delayed so long they can no longer get the mirror in time, and then they will need to paint it (which is false, you can swap the painted panel from the old mirror to the new one). I then explained to Ruben that you could simply swap the motor instead of the whole mirror. He looks at some diagrams and agrees that it can be done, they can have the part by Monday, and they will do the repair for the cost of the part! Finally I thought I was getting somewhere. Ruben says he will call Monday when the part comes in. By 12pm on Monday, (the day before my trip) I still hadn't heard from Ruben. I called Liccardi, and find out it's his day off. I left a voicemail with Danny letting him know how outraged I was by the the service I received. I never heard back, and never got an apology of any kind. I will never forget how Ruben gaslit me about the repairs to the car. I may never buy a Ford again. I was able to stabilize the mirror with some super glue. The repair held for 1,500 miles and is still going strong. Thanks for nothing Ruben! read more

If I could rate zero stars, I would. Drove 1 hour 45 minutes in December to look at a used car. Called ahead to verify that car was still available, and made an appointment to see it later that day. Called again to notify them of running behind, and confirmed arrival time. Upon arrival, was told "car is offsite" and waited 30 minutes for the car to arrive, despite their knowing we were due to arrive. Did the test drive and was ready to purchase. This is when Liccardi showed their true colors. First, I asked about the Ford Blue Advantage certification and if I'd be able to return the car without penalty within 14 days per this certification. The manager, Sulo told me no, that although the car had this certification, that they'd "opted out" of the right to return. In addition, the price suddenly shot up an unanticipated $2700+. I have attached pictures of the online listing, Liccardi documentation fee as listed online, history report and the cost as they wrote it on a piece of paper. When I asked about the "etch" fee, they replied that NJ State law required the car to have the VIN etched on glass (which is a lie). Since this car had a few previous owners, it had already been etched. If you look at their math, the tax amount doesn't even make sense. I offered to meet them partway with an additional $1000. They did not take it, and I dodged a bullet. I felt so gross when I left their dealership, they are dishonest people. I purchased the same car, at a lower price with less miles at Mini of the Main Line in Bala Cynwyd, PA who were honestly, amazing. If I could give negative stars I would!!!! Purchased a Ford Explorer, the drivers side heated seat was broken during delivery and a few other issues. Our salesman Terrance stated he would make an appt with service to have it fixed. He did not, so we ended up having to speak with Mike D the manager who wrote down all the complaints and scheduled our appt. He assured us they would look at it and take care of it all. The dealership has had our car going on 2 weeks now, not 1 issue has been taken care of. When I finally got in touch with service they told me they were attempting to have the repairs paid for thru the extn warranty company. One has nothing to do with the other, the issues were there from the beginning. These issues were there from the beginning, not a new found issue. Oh and before we dropped it off the check engine light came on, that is NOT fixed either. The dealership has had my vehicle longer than I have since date of purchase and nothing is rectified. This dealership is by far the SHADIEST and most DECEITFUL!!! Had an odd engine issue with my car, figured I'd take it to the dealer since I knew I had a recall that needed to be fixed. Took it in on a Tuesday, didn't receive a call from them until the following Tuesday with the diagnostic result and quote. They told me it was going to cost my $4500 to fix a tire sensor, trunk pop lever and also that my fuel pump was broken and needed to be replaced. I told them just to fix the lever, sensor and the recall, that all cost me about $1100. They were perplexed why I wasn't going to also fix the fuel pump, I honestly had my doubts anything was wrong with it. Picked it up the following day to find that they did not address the recall but I was so fed up I just took it anyway. Went to Goodyear in Clark just in case(they are awesome), they confirmed fuel pump was fine. Do not recommend for service unless you want to be vastly overcharged for services you may not even need that will take forever. read more

Idk where to start! Such a bad place! I bought a 2019 f150 with 41k miles on it! Bought it outright, and 2 weeks late the A/c isnt working! And the radio wouldnt update! When i bring ot back for my plate they tell me i need a new compressor. It took them 3 months and many trips and hours away from my job and home (an hour away) when it came to the radio the told me they would take care of it! Now fast forward months late, i need a 1200$ part for my radio and other issues are happening! Ive tried calling them, and like always no phone call back! Real nice way to treat your costomers! My husband and I had been working with Vinny and Mina to purchase a new aviator. We had supplied them all of our information and were waiting on the final numbers. We asked to put down a deposit multiple times to hold that car but we were told it was not necessary as the car had a recall and they needed to get the repair done. The car was ours and we would be notified when it was fixed and ready for pick up. Fast forward to today I get a text message saying the car is sold it was first come first serve and basically bye. I left a business meeting to figure out what happened because we were anxiously waiting to pick up the vehicle and had called to follow up every day this week. I was basically told Mina the sales guy was off yesterday and because he refused our deposit the other team members did not realize the car was sold and were allowed to sell it to someone else. They literally refused our deposit saying it wasn't necessary then screwed us over. Giving this business 1 Star is being very generous. I was actively searching for a 2020 Ford Explorer and found one I really liked on auto trader. It had a price listed there. When I got to the dealer, I looked and the car and loved it but the price was 6k more then what autotrader had it listed as. I told the very nice salesman, Sulo that this was not in my budget. He really tried to work it but could not. We ended on he said he would call me at 9am the next day so we could discuss other options. No call, I received an email from an internet manager thanking me for coming in and if I had any questions. I wrote back saying I loved that car but out of budget and was hoping someone could send me some cars available that would work for the amount of money I could spend. I then get a call from a manager named Michael, extremely rude, asked "what do you want from us" I mean I want to buy a car lol but no one is sending anything. I have a 2018 Ford Mustang Ecoboost. I was driving my car, as usual, and a check engine light came on the dashboard. I immediately took my car to be diagnosed at my local mechanic shop. When the diagnostic test was done, it revealed that I have cylinder misfires on my engine. So, the mechanic advised me to get a full tuneup. I paid the mechanic to do the tuneup. Then, shortly after the car was picked up, it started to overheat. The mechanic told me to bring it back to the shop and he will look at it. He looked at it and told me that it looks like its the thermostat. He replaced the thermostat. When I came to pick the car up, I saw white smoke coming from the tailpipe. I asked the mechanic why and he advised that it could possibly need a Cylinder Head Gasket. I told him to turn my car off immediately and I had my car towed to Liccardi Ford for a proper diagnostic test and repair. When I arrived, I spoke with the service advisor, Harold. I explained everything that happened prior to the car being towed to Liccardi Ford. I was advised that a diagnostic test will be performed. I agreed. I was then called back to be told that they need additional time for the diagnostic test so instead of the $180.00 I will be charged $360.00 due to there being an issue with them finding the problem along with the cylinder head sensor replacement which was $430.00 ($790.00 total). I was upset about it. However I agreed because I didn't have much of a choice and that the diagnostic test will not be included in the service charge. (It usually gets included in the service charge). I was told that because it was an engine test, it's not included. I didn't have much choice so I agreed to pay for it. After my car was test driven, I was also told that I still had misfires and my fan was continuing to run so I needed to pay an additional diagnostic test amounting to $447.50. I questioned why I had to pay for another diagnostic test because they were having issues finding the problem and I already paid for the diagnostic tests. After the third diagnostic test, I was told that I needed a power train module totaling $1269.00. I agreed to pay for the part however, I refused to pay for the additional diagnosis. I was told that "as a courtesy, I will only be charged $360.00 for the diagnostic test" Once that service was completed, I was told that after being test driven again, my car is still running hot and going back down to cool because I need a new thermostat. I explained that I already replaced it and I was then told that "the new thermostat is faulty". I didn't want them to change the thermostat for an additional $440.00 that I don't have after paying for the services that I received. I paid a total of $2290.07 and immediately took my car to my mechanic, went to buy another thermostat (an additional $88.59) to have a new one installed. Once the new thermostat was installed, it did not fix the issue. I was advised by the mechanic that installed the second thermostat "there was nothing wrong with the new thermostat that was installed the first time and the second time. It looks like coolant is leaking from the head gasket."I was really upset at this point! I brought the car back to Liccardi Ford and I was told that the mechanic that worked on my car left for the day and went on vacation for the following week. I was advised that I can bring the car back in the morning due to there being no one there to drop my granddaughter and I off at home, if I leave it. I left and as I was going home on I-78, my car ran really hot and shut down. We were stuck on the highway and had to have a tow truck tow my car back to Liccardi Ford and leave the keys in the drop box because the service area was closed. When I spoke to Harold the next morning, I asked why I'm back with the same issues that my car came in with and I just spent over $2200.00! I was told that he would look into it and stopped returning calls until I had to show up again. I asked why the mechanic NEVER looked at the head gasket and charged me for an engine diagnostic twice! I am calling and not getting calls back. Then I showed up today and was told it looks like I need a new engine and they will credit me $1,000.00 when if my car was diagnosed properly in the beginning, this could have been avoided. I said why don't you just change the head gasket? After they admitted that the head gasket was the problem, I was told they will have to take apart my engine to see if that can be done instead of changing the engine. However, I will have to pay for hours of labor to check it to see if it's possible. I don't have any money left, no car to drive, no call backs. I have to continue to get a ride to the dealership to even get a response half of the time. I called Ford (800-392-3673) to make a complaint and I have a case number. If I could give them a zero I would! Went in to look at explorers and were open to different models. They would only give us a price on one, "our favorite one". Proceeded to give us a price that was $7k over a price shown on their website and called it a market adjustment. Mind you this was a 2020 with 7k miles on it and he quoted us sticker price. He never mentioned a market premium or adjustment on any car in the 30 min we had spent with him prior looking at cars. He totally wasted our time as we waited for him to get the price on our "favorite car" and came back with more than advertised. Lousy response on a simple key duplication. Based on my experience, the overwhelming number of one-star reviews for this service department would appear warranted. Went today for a scheduled appointment to get a key duplicated for my Explorer. The Service Dept., unsure of how to handle this request, sent me to Parts, which said this was unnecessary and sent me back to Service to get the key done. Disorganized, but ok fine, no big deal. So after finding the right guy in Service to get this task done, and I was quoted about $139 for a key. I asked if that was it and the Service guy who dealt with me on the intake told me that was the cost plus tax. No other price or cost was mentioned. So I waited an hour or so and was presented with a bill for around $350. The extra $200 was for the programming of the key, which no one told me about previously. The Service guy who took me order said Parts should have told me about it. Someone claiming to be the manager told me that the programming fee was additional and admitted it was their mistake not to tell me this. By the way, I had previously tried to get an estimate of the price via the chat function on Liccardi's website and they declined, saying I had to talk to a technician when I came in. Ford's website and my car manual both say a fee may be charged for this programming, so if Liccardi had mentioned it at the outset of this transaction, I would have been fine with it. But I was not told of the programming fee when I agreed to the service. The manager did ask me what I thought I should pay. I said I should pay the price I was quoted. He said no and his only other offer was to give me my key back and bring everything back to the beginning, which I did. I have no idea if they did the key correctly and I'm probably not exact on the final cost (I'm very close) as I did not get the key or keep the bill and I was never informed nor given a full estimate of the cost. I was treated with a lack of expertise, respect and professionalism and I was angry. The person claiming to be manager asked me to step outside, which I did. I called them "useless," which they were. He repeatedly informed me that this service will cost the same at any Ford dealer. Outside, he attempted to lecture me about how he didn't appreciate being called "useless." I left. I've bought a string of Fords at this dealership, which I believe does not matter in the least to them, and neither I nor my family will be back. I'm looking at new cars and previously had Fords that i liked, but that Mazda CX-5 is looking better than ever right now. I Lease a 2016 Explorer Sport, On 2 occasions I needed only replacement batteries for my key fob and it took 1+ hrs each time. I live a few miles away but drive the extra 15 miles to Summit for maintenance. I wish I was able to give a negative star rating; would absolutely under no circumstance whatsoever service or recommend to anyone that they take their vehicle to this location for service. There is no room to park in the service lot and the queue has been a mine field of pot holes for 2+ years. Always new faces -- it's like a revolving door there, service mgr's/staff/reception are rude & inexperienced -- management is an absolute joke, Paul Moore the current (and one of many service managers I've had to deal with in 2+ years) actually threatened to call the police on me when I recently voiced my displeasure in the waiting room :) Please do you yourself a favor, and go elsewhere... read more

The Liccardi service department has continuously provided horrible customer service since at least 2014. The only reason we continued to go there is that we wanted the vehicle's history in one place in case we had to sell. Boy, was that a bad decision!! They don't answer the phone, have horrible attitudes, aren't organized and then find just about everything else wrong with your car than the original reason for your visit. The service department has had at least three sets of new leadership in the past few years and still haven't gotten it figured out! If you don't believe me, just google the dealership and read the comments and reviews for yourself! Thanks to this experience, I will not be buying a Ford in the future! I would stay far away from this place. You can take your vehicle to another dealer who will treat you like a valued customer. Their lifetime brake guarantee is a joke because while the pads may be replaced for free, they'll always be sure to find something else wrong. I would have given zero stars if it would let me. I purchased a new 2020 Lincoln in November 2019 from Liccardi Lincoln in Watchung, NJ. Boy did that turn out to be a HUGE mistake!! The navigation had no voice prompts and the Apple Car Play also did not work. I noticed this a week later, right before leaving for a very long Thanksgiving road trip. So the day before I left, I had to take time out of my busy schedule to bring the car in to the dealer and they ended up giving me a loaner car. It took 2 weeks for the part to finally come in, which I was very upset about to begin with, and every other day they kept telling me "the part should be in today". Then I was told that this part did not solve the problem and was told that even more problems existed that I wasn't even aware of. Then they had to get a Lincoln tech involved as they couldn't figure out what is wrong. Needles to say that they didn't know either. Long story short... Robert Ventura, the service manager was VERY, VERY RUDE and doesn't return phone calls unless you keep calling and complain to someone. We actually had to go down to the dealer just to get someone to talk to us about what the heck was going on. Stay clear from him as he also has a habit of not telling the truth. The sales managers are so nice at first, but once you walk out of the dealership after a purchase, they become very rude and not willing to help. Three months later, thankfully, Lincoln declared it a lemon and bought the car back from me and I was able to rid myself of the vehicle. I re-purchased another one from a different dealership and couldn't have been more happy with the service they provided me. I expected more from purchasing a top tier vehicle. I was VERY disappointed that after purchasing a $50k vehicle, one week later and these problems. I also think Lincoln should be testing these cars more thoroughly before shipping them off to the dealers. Everything that a Lincoln dealership does and says, reflects the brand name. Very disappointing experience, My car had a recall item that they handled very well, they replaced the rear axle. But during their work, they did not see that my rear brakes were "shot", I suspect that in their axle replacement, they themselves damaged my rear break lines and brake cylinders. Liccardi advertises complete rear break job for less than $ 200, yet they charged me $700 and did not touch the front breaks that are grinding, (these are advertised at $100.) PS. people at service are very nice and polite, but carry a heavy pencil. read more

Buyers be aware of the poor customer service from the Service department with this dealer! I have had a very poor experience with this dealer getting my 2015 F150 Platinum serviced here earlier this year. Under warranty I brought my truck in to get the air conditioned seats repaired as their is a known issue out for 2015+ for the seat backs not blowing air. The dealer was supposed to replace both blower motors, insert a sock up through the back of the seat, and modify the seat covers by removing some insulation to properly fix the seats. Upon receiving my truck back I noticed that I had razor slices in the leather on the back of the passenger seat and a 6 inch section of stitching was cut on the drivers seat. I took it back to Liccardi Ford and they replaced the passenger seat cover and stitch the drivers back together (poor job to boot!). Upon move to South Carolina I noticed that the seat backs were not producing cold air (first time in hot weather again!), so I took it into the local dealer for inspection. Upon inspection they found that the blowers weren't replaced, the socks never installed, and they improperly modified my seat covers. They also showed me on the drivers side cuts in the leather! The local dealer here couldn't fix the truck because this is a worksmanship issue from Liccardi Ford. I contacted the service manager (Bill) and he insured me he would help make this right. Since that discussion 3 weeks ago I have no received an email back from him, nor has he answered my calls, and he hasn't called me back. So now I have a $62k truck that Liccardi damaged and they are not prepared to do the right thing and help me get it fixed. So please be aware that if you deal with them you could end up like me with a terrible experience and no one to help. read more

leased a new 2015 explorer and traded a 2012 dodge ram on 12/26/2014 part of the deal was for liccardi to pay off the lien on the dodge which to this day 02/21/2015 they still have not done so despite my repeated attempts and being assured that it would be taken care of. I cannot afford to make 2 car payments so the dodge will end up ruining my credit and being repossessed off the dealer lot by the bank. My first review, because they made me angry enough after trying to do my due diligence before going to the dealer, I only looked on Cars.com not yelp though. Long and short of it is that they pulled a bait and switch. Wow, where do I start. The experience I had today with Liccardi Ford is the exact reason I dread car shopping. I need a new car by Aug 1st 2014 in order to keep my car allowance for work (the car has to be within 5 years old) so I was looking for vehicles and I really wanted a Subaru Outback but was leaning towards a Legacy since the Outback was a bit beyond my budget I set for myself. As I was browsing Cars.com I saw an offer for a 2013 Ford Escape S for $19,994 and I put an inquiry in because I thought it could be a nice alternative to an outback in terms of more room, etc. When I received my email confirmation they offered "new and used vehicle alternatives" and a 2014 Ford Escape SE Front Wheel drive was offered for: MSRP: $25,955, Liccardi Price: $23,527 and minus rebates of -$3,500. = MY FINAL PRICE OF $20,027 Wow great deal! Let me ask about that instead! So I email a reply back asking them to contact me via email since it is easier for me to reply that way while I am at work. Didn't hear from them on the same day (thursday) two days before I was planning on looking at a car on Saturday. I keep getting auto generated emails on Friday asking me about it so I respond saying I did not get any response on my email on Thursday, not even sure if anyone was looking at my emails.....Then the person I emailed on Thursday "Janice Owens" calls me at my work! Fine, lets get beyond that you didn't read my emails. I confirmed that the deal was valid and confirmed that we were talking about the "New Alternatives" offer and not my original inquiry. All good. Confirmed the 0% financing that was offered in the deal, yep all good. me - "Hey Janice, can I see the specifics of the manufacturer rebates to make sure I qualify for them?" janice - "I can't look at your quote because it's auto generated but if you have a quote, it's the quote and we have to honor it" me - "...Janice are you sure? You don't have any details on the rebates I can look at? I'm going to be driving between an hour and a half to two hours to your store tomorrow so I'd like to be sure." janice - "Yes, HAND TO GOD, SWEAR ON MY LIFE if you got the quote and it generated from an inquiry on Cars.com we have to honor it!" me - "Janice, do you have a bunch of these models in stock? It's the 2014 Ford Escape SE Front wheel drive, Remember I have to drive a long ways" janice - "let me check, ...yes we have a lot of them in different colors" me - " wow ok, I'll be there tomorrow on Saturday" I get to the dealership and a nice young guy is helping me out as we test drive but I keep asking to drive the model that I was quoted for, and show it to him in the email and browser...but he keeps having me drive a model that is 4 wheel drive and has upgraded packages, not only that but they didn't even have the original 2013 model that I made the original inquiry about. The car drove fine, the seat was uncomfortable but I could deal with it for the value. Went to sit down to hash it out and all of a sudden it's a "hey we can't find this model here" and then all the attempts to give me offers for higher value vehicles. Not only that but THEY COULD ONLY GIVE ME A $2,500 REBATE, i didn't meet the criteria of having a leased vehicle to turn in!!!!! Wow i got kind of mad here and said I'd like to speak to Janice (who i met in the beginning), nope sorry we can't have you speak to Janice. Then they said they would offer the same model except with 4 wheel drive and give me the $3,500 discount off that car...except that car was MSRP of $27,705. They had it printed out and hand wrote on there $23,022 which doesn't seem right since that's a $4,683 difference. So I asked for the price out the door broken out. They wrote on the back: $25522 2300.40 - Tax 399 MV 398 DOC 8.80 MV $28,628.20 TOTAL -$2500 (???) REBATE (what happened to the $3,500 you were going to offer on this upgraded model?) $26,128.20 = real total?? Get out of here, thanks for the bait and switch attempt and wasting my entire Saturday, I hope everyone reads this and avoids you when they read my reviews. I ended up driving back to Brooklyn and putting money down on a Subaru Legacy the same day without any of the same aggravations. Avoid this Dealership at All Costs !! I recently brought my Ford Escape in for the works and was happy with the service. I then had brought my car in for a service recall for my side door hatch which required taking all my door handles off. When I picked up my vehicle, I noticed my driver side unlocking door sensor was not working. I called to set up an appointment for them to fix it. After waiting all day at the dealership, I was informed that my sensor was bad and I had to pay over $600 dollars to get it fixed. I spoke to Ford and a couple other dealerships and was told that I shouldn't have to pay anything since Liccardi either damaged my sensor or didn't connect it correctly plus I have full coverage warranty till July 2018. I spoke with Paul (The service manager) and he said he could repair it for me at cost which would be $250 dollars and wanted me to come to the dealership at 10am so he could take a quick look and it would take 15 mins. I took off of work to go to the dealership and when I arrived the receptionist informed Paul that I was there. I waited for an hour until I eventually saw Paul, who ignored me, and reminded him I was there to see him. Apparently, he didn't remember that we had setup an appointment. I then dealt with Jeremy who was then assisting me. Jeremy, looked in his computer for the warranty part coverage and had trouble locating the part on his computer. He then told me to call him the next day and he would try to find out. I called the following day 2x and left him a voice message with no response back. I then decided to call the general manager Doug and left a voice message with him to give me a call in regards to my service complaint. Of course, I didn't receive a call back from him as well. I myself am a manager and providing great customer service is the goal on an everyday basis at my job. I truly have to say that Liccardi is the worst. Thank you for damaging my car and I will make sure that all my friends and family members avoid Liccardi at all costs. read more

After months of searching for a new SUV, I chose the Lincoln MKX, and Liccardi had the specific one I wanted. Initially the salesperson was ecstatic for the sale, and as I knew what I wanted he didn't have to sell me on anything. Due to a special circumstance I left a deposit on the vehicle and salesperson needed to get specific paperwork to me in order to trade in my vehicle. Some time elapses before sale is complete and because of the dealership tardiness they negotiate the trade in value of my vehicle. Lastly, it has been a month since in possession of the MKX, which rides great, and still no plates and the dealership JUST sent in the payment on the trade in vehicle. The phone calls I have received on my trade in vehicle could have been avoided if the financial duty of Liccardi's employees were done on time. Being excited about customer service and then not following through is the opposite of what customer service is. I would not recommend dealing with a dealership that doesn't practice what they preach. For a prestigious brand like Lincoln, I was impressed with the vehicle and not the people behind the vehicle. read more

This dealership is a disgrace to Ford. Everytime I see someone post a "positive review", I feel that the dealership goes in and changes it. I bought a used '12 mustang gt from here and from day 1, i've been lied to, insulted, ignored. Been told by a previous service guy, To stop acting like a little bitch, After I went back in after checking my oil and air filter after he told me that the oil was changed and air filter was changed and charging me for it. NOTHING was changed. He told me i'd have to eat the air filter and get it myself. Did not give mew a reipt for the work done to the car with an excuse saying that it was all warranty work. A week later I got the reciept and there were exactly 4 parts on that, that werew NOT changed in the car. That's Liccardi ripping off FORD. They sold me a BS "insurance" warranty for after the 3 year, 36,000 mile Ford warranty. No other Ford dealership is able to honor this warranty although, Liccardi claims ANY ford dealership can take it. Recently went there because my engine starting to make a knocking, metallic sound and low rpm at operating temperature.. Car sat there for 21 days. Day 2- They call and tell me sounds like its the Timing chain tensioner but don't now what side. Day 4- I call them looking for an answer, They tell me its the Driver side timing chain tensioner is bad. Day 6- After hearing nothing, I call them. No one is available and I dont geta phone call back Day 9- I take a ride up there (30 mins) I see the car sitting outside.. I speak to Ray, who i've been dealing with. He said they found the left side timing chain tensioner was bad and the parts were on order. Couldnt give me a date on when they were ordered. I speak to Brian, the service manager, who has no idea what is going on. Can't give me any info on when the parts were ordered but that the car would be done on Day 15. Day 10- Talk to Kevin Liccardi. Tells me that service told them that it was the left side timing chain tensioner and the car would be right. Told him I couldnt understand why the car was STILL sitting outside, couldnt give me an answer. Day 13- I call for an update, No call backs Day 15- I call back aftter not hearing anything. All service guys are busy, told they will call back asap. NOTHING Day 16- Call back speak to Brian, Serivice manager.. Tells me NOTHING Day 19- I Call Ford Motor Company. Spoke to the Regional Manager. Told him the whole situation. Tell him the car has been there for almost 3 weeks, I cant get through to anyone, when I go up in person I NEVER get an answer, Ford and Liccardi go back and fourth. Day 20- Brian, service manager calls me. Says car is all done. I go up to pick it up. He tells me that the only problem was a bolt had backed out of the timing chain tensioner, and Ray gave you an oil change and didnt charge you.. I pop the hood, He cant tell me what they had to take off to " tighten" the bolt. Hose clamps were on the EXACT way as I left them before bringing the car here, because no trust. NONE of the bolts had any sign of recent wrenches or sockets on them. Started the car I heared the knock once, very slightly... I said to him you guys had the car for 3 weeks and only had to tighten a bolt? Im sure that all you guys did was only change the oil.... He didn't say anything.. Why would they change the oil when the oil that was in the car had only 400 miles on it? When nothing was taken off or apart????? Here i am 2 months or so later. Always figuring they put thicker oil in or some type of additive. This morning I drive the car a local, reliable shop to change the oil for justice, before covering the car for the winter. No engine knocking sound. They change the oil with the Motorcraft 5w20 semi synthetic oil and motorcraft filter that I brought... After the oil change , Went out and got the car up to operating temperature. knock, knock knock, even just at idle now.... This place is a disgrace, fuill of theifs, greedy owners, con artists, crooks. The management is just as horrific as the service techs. What not just rip the engine apart and fix the problem. Send the bill to this " warranty": company and avoid a nasty, but true review about you? Shame on Ford for not acknowledging this business that uses their name. I don't know how they are still in business. Brought my Ford Escape in for recall repair. I was sent home twice after making appointments. They are incapable of reserving loaners, you just get the run around and excuses. Half the staff is outside chain smoking rather than helping customers. Nightmare. Finally took recall repairs to Maplecrest Ford. Those guys return my calls, provide updates and are polite. Will never do business with Liccardi. read more

Awesome dealership. My family and I have been dealing with Doug H. for years. He is great. Always takes care of us. We tell him our price range and he does whatever he can to work things out. This is my first Lincoln on my own (parents have always had them). Doug arranged for the car to be delivered to my house on a Saturday. What?! I love it! Conner L. handled everything from there. I had follow up phone calls, as well as needed paperwork delivered next day air. I will definitely be staying with these guys for the long haul. Would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

I went 4+ hours to Liccardi because they had a used vehicle I was looking for that is hard to find. I got there late in the evening, about an hour before they closed. It was getting dark and hard to see the details in the engine, under carriage, etc., but from what I saw, i was not impressed. especially for the asking price. My salesman, who's name rhymes with "fallon" was not very helpful. In fact, every time I brought up an issue with the vehicle, he diverted to something positive and wouldn't address my concerns. The body looked fine, no major dings, but it was obviously recently painted without being prepped. Rust was coming through the attempt to hide it. There was a hole of rust in the back of the vehicle so big i could but my head through it. Okay, I am aware of that. Now here's where i get irritated. I am an honest person and cannot stand being lied to. Many times I brought up issues I could see at night, wondering what else is wrong with the vehicle if those were bad. I was assured that the vehicle went through a stringent check over and was in top shape and that "Liccardi Ford has been in business for over 30 years and wouldn't let substandard vehicles be sold there. (I foolishly believed this) "Fallon" would tell me "who ever owned this vehicle obviously took really good care of it", to which i promptly called bs, showing that someone simply painted it to make it look nice, poorly at that. Someone who takes care of their vehicle does not let a bowling ball sized hole form from rust in the floor and screw a piece of metal over it half assed like this. Being good with my hands, I figured I could fix it myself. I also brought up the a headlight was out, to which "Fallon" said "just drive home (4 hours) with your high beams on." REALLY? I also noted that I had to trailer the vehicle I drove there home and did not see the power plug for a trailer on the vehicle i was about to purchase. He assured me there was one. No spare tire, and some minor electrical issues with door light switch, dimmer knob, radio, and a few other issues. When it came time to negotiate, the asking price was ABOVE excellent condition. (the only good thing about the vehicle was the mileage was low for a 2001 diesel -- almost 150k and it seemed to drive fine) I made an offer of 800 lower and told him I wasn't even happy to be paying that. "fallon" came back with a counter offer and I held my ground. He then asked if he could take some cash to the management and literally wave it at them even though earlier they said they would only accept cash on this vehicle. I asked in disbelief if he was serious and said no. I'll produce cash if the deal is accepted. The deal was accepted and i asked about getting the vehicle getting titled in my girl's name since she was a joint buyer and paying the better half in price even though she was not there. Basically, they should have just given me the title and paperwork associated and not charged me $400 for something I didn't need or want in the first place. But, they did. Now I am dealing with getting retitled, tagged and all that annoyance and time spent. Upon leaving the dealership, I had to rush to autozone to buy headlights, wipers, a wiring harness to hook up the tow dolly lights just to be legal and not get pulled over. I got a couple other things necessary to make things right for a total of $175. After getting home, I took it into my shop for a check over. 3 different oil leaks, totaling 1500 to fix correctly (remove the rtv homemade gasket), and an estimate of $700 more to fix damaged steering components so that the vehicle could be aligned. So much for Liccardi doing a thorough check and not letting less than substandard vehicles be sold. Looking under the vehicle at all the corrosion, I have to wonder if this vehicle was involved with the whole hurricane sandy flooding. I called for a week to get some answers about getting the title not issued in my name and tags, but gave up. It took a week later for someone to call me, but he couldn't help me and had to forward me to "Fallon". Great... He asked how the vehicle was doing and I told him I just got a $2200 estimate for repairs from existing problems. He didn't bat an eye and changed topics. (I don't know how anyone can treat people like this and not care. I couldn't) Bottom line: buyer beware. I believed the salesman I was dealing with. I should have stayed the night and inspected the vehicle in the daylight the next day. If you are not aware of what you are buying, this place will sell you a vehicle in poor shape and allow you to pay over excellent blue book value. I will be going back to purchasing my vehicles from private parties due to this experience. I got good vehicles at really decent (if not great) prices by purchasing from individuals. Looking at the other reviews, I wish i had checked yelp before going to this dealership! read more
